Combining smooth blends and catchy melodies with messages of redemption and encouragement, the collection is accompanied by a full-length, performance DVD (available for purchase) and TV special, which premieres across multiple TV networks this week.

Of the album’s title track, Bill Gaither says, “This is a very important song with a powerful idea that I believe with all my heart. The world has never been stable, and according to God’s Word it is not going to be stable. We are called to be God’s light — to shine — in an unstable culture. Do we really believe and live out the power of love and grace? Every now and then we say about a song, ‘This is a special idea that can make a difference in the way we live.’ I think this is one of those songs.”

Songs from Shine: The Darker the Night the Brighter the Light will be featured on Gaither Radio on Pandora, Gaither Radio on Amazon and Gaither Radio on Spotify; and the audio will be streamed on the Gaither Music TV YouTube channel (3 million subscribers).

Videos from the filming will be released on the Gaither Music TV YouTube channel as well as on the Gaither Facebook page.  A special, worldwide YouTube Premiere will take place on August 16 at 10:00AM ET.

The new recording follows the quintet’s Let’s Just Praise the Lord (Gaither Music Group), produced by Bill Gaither and Gordon Mote, which received a 2023 GRAMMY nomination for Best Roots Gospel Album. Bill and Gloria Gaither and the GVB have collectively received eight GRAMMY Awards and more than two dozen nominations.

The group took home a 2022 GMA Dove Award for Southern Gospel Recorded Song of the Year for “My Feet Are on the Rock” from the GRAMMY-nominated album That’s Gospel, Brother. The song, also produced by Bill Gaither and ACM Award winner Gordon Mote, was a Top 5 radio hit.

The group’s recent radio single, “How Beautiful Heaven Must Be,” also from That’s Gospel Brother is currently a Top 5 hit; and the debut single from the new Shine recording, ”Make the Morning Worth the Midnight,” is now going for adds.

Queendalyn Yurglee Releases Her Debut Ep “The Birth”

A five-track project birthed from a place of intimacy with the word of God. The songs on the Birth Ep include:

● WOTIM HO DAA (You remain the same)

● HONHOM KRONKRON (Holy Ghost) Ft Diana Hopeson, Abaawa Connie

● HOLD MY HANDS (Extended Version)

● IZURU (You deserve the praise) FT Mike Aremu

● COME AND SEE FT Akesse Brempong

To ensure top-notch production quality, Queendalyn enlisted the expertise of renowned music-inclined individuals. Track 1- 4 recorded by Mordecai. Mixed and mastered by popular music producer Francis Osei, Track 5 was produced by the famous LaxioBeats.

The Birth EP also features some top music leaders like Akesse Brempong, Mike Aremu, Abaawa Connie, and Diana Hopeson. Queendalyn is excited to share the heart and sound of The Birth Ep with listeners worldwide.

The EP kicks off with an amazing song of reverence and love for God in “You Remain the Same” WOTIM HO DAA

WOTIM HO DAA: Translated as “You Remain The Same”, eulogizes the greatness of God in one major phrase, His ability to remain the same hence His never changing nature from generation to generation, A beautiful contemporary worship piece.

This song is an experience that will leave you saturated in the awareness of the Unshakable, Immovable, and Unchangeable Mightiness of God. My prayer is that this song will bring you a Godly encounter and an inner chamber worship experience. Queendalyn added

It moves on next to “HONHOM KRONKRON (Holy Ghost) Featuring Diana Hopeson, Abaawa Connie

HONHOM KRONKRON (Holy Ghost): “Holy Spirit ” emphasizes the greatness of God and the gift of the holy spirit as our helper.

I have been a rounded beneficiary of the great assistance and empowerment the Holy Spirit gives to us, this song depicts the need to depend on the Holy Spirit in all spheres. Diana Hopeson and Abaawa Connie, who have walked longer in this call, were the perfect people to bring their experience lyrically and depth to interpreting this song into reality. There are three generations of Musi,c and I am super privileged to have done this with them, She shares.

Depicting a journey with God is track three, titled “Hold My Hands”.

“Hold My Hands”: In this song, Queendalyn shares her testimony! Through it all God has never left my side, He has held my hands through the storm, the fires, and the turbulence. Hold my hands was inspired by Deuteronomy 31:8. A song many can relate to.

Hold my hands brings back the lovable Queendalyn’s sound and vocals, and so does the fourth track, “IZURU (You deserve the praise) FT Mike Aremu”.

IZURU (You deserve the praise): Featuring world-renowned Gospel Saxophone Minister Mike Aremu. Izuru Is a Soul ballad that means “you are worthy. The inspiration is born from spotlighting the majestic nature of God and Declaring him worthy of every praise.

The Birth Ep rounds up with “Come and See”, a praise upbeat anthem.

Come and See: Tapping into the Amapiano wave creating a fine blend with Afro Gospel and Praise-worship music while inspiring and entertaining believers, Come and See is an Amapiano song of testimony and praise featuring Akesse Brempong.

The song draws its inspiration from the powerful Bible verse Psalm 66: 4-5, which reminds listeners of God’s good deeds to mankind. “All the earth bows down to you; they sing praise to you, they sing the praises of your name.” Come and see what God has done, his awesome deeds for mankind!”

A great vibe on this track is Akesse Brempong, who is known for his unique blend of traditional and contemporary styles of music. I felt he would be the right person to compliment my vocal tone and deliver. Queendalyn added.

Overall, the BIRTH EP is an intentional music offering with a unified theme that seeks to uplift and stirs you to praise and worship.

Dennis Quaid’s ‘Fallen: A Gospel Record For Sinners’ Debuts At No. 1 On Top Christian/Gospel Albums Chart

Emmy Award winner and two-time Golden Globe nominee Dennis Quaid’s Fallen: A Gospel Record for Sinners from Gaither Music Group debuts at No. 1 on the Top Christian/Gospel Albums chart and lands in the Top 15 on Billboard’s Top 200 Christian/Gospel chart. The album also ranked No. 1 on Amazon’s Best Sellers in CDs & Vinyl, Hot New Releases in Christian & Gospel, and Best Sellers in Country charts. Fallen is distributed by Capitol Christian Music Group and Universal Music.

Quaid is currently gracing the cover of PEOPLE, where he takes readers inside The Clement House recording studio and his Nashville home, opening up about faith, love, and second chances. The multi-hyphenate entertainer celebrated release week with national media appearances on Fox News’ “America’s Newsroom”, and “Jesse Watters Primetime,” “Extra”, and more.

“Dennis Quaid’s Christianity is at the forefront of his new album, an homage to the faith he says got him out of addiction,” writes USA TodayGarden & Gun adds, “Dennis Quaid’s nearly fifty-year career is marked by both its prolificacy and its high quality. Silver screen, small screen, even your music stream—the Houston native has them covered.”

unnamed 32

During a recent TalkShopLive appearance at RFD-TV, Quaid chatted with host Bill Cody about each of the tracks. Quaid performed songs from Fallen last week at the Grand Ole Opry and joined Kathie Lee Gifford, who also introduced him onstage, for a conversation backstage about the album and his faith.

Combining soul-stirring renditions of seven hymns and classics with five original songs, Quaid delivers honest, inspiring lyrics sung with unmistakable tones that reflect heartfelt gratitude and eternal hope.

He previewed Fallen through the early release of “Why Me Lord” and “What a Friend We Have in Jesus.” American Songwriter notes Quaid “shows off his rugged vocals” on “Why Me Lord” and “honors the humble nature of the song with his soft delivery” on “What a Friend We Have in Jesus.”

Fallen was executive produced by Quaid with producers David R. “Fergie” Ferguson, Ben Isaacs, and Chris Lindsey. The Isaacs and Jackson Brumley supply background vocals on “I’ll Fly Away,” while The Oak Ridge Boys join Quaid on “Life’s Railway to Heaven.”

Originally released on the soundtrack for Quaid’s faith-based film I CAN ONLY IMAGINE, “On My Way to Heaven” was inspired by the global superstar’s public grappling with addiction. Quaid also vulnerably acknowledges these personal struggles and his subsequent return to Christianity on songs like the title track.

The 12-song collection follows Quaid’s 2018 album, Out of the Box, described by Quaid as a junkyard of American music. Though he loves writing, recording, and making movies, music holds a special place in the Texas native’s heart, and for the last four decades, he has toured extensively, displaying equal ease on the piano and acoustic guitar.

Quaid enchants audiences with a set list that ranges from songs such as those included on Fallen to rock ‘n’ roll standards like “Great Balls of Fire!,” an homage to “The Killer,” whom he portrayed in the 1989 box office smash.

Also known for his roles in THE ROOKIE, THE DAY AFTER TOMORROW, TRAFFIC, VANTAGE POINT, FREQUENCY, THE PARENT TRAP, SOUL SURFER, THE RIGHT STUFF, BREAKING AWAY, and MIDWAY,

Quaid’s recent big-screen credits include starring roles in Netflix uplifting movie, BLUE MIRACLE, Sony’s thriller THE INTRUDER, Universal’s A DOG’S JOURNEY and A DOG’S PURPOSE and Disney’s animated adventure film STRANGE WORLD. He also recently completed production, portraying the 40th president of the United States in the biopic, REAGAN, slated for release in early 2024.
