[Music] Have Never Seen – Joy Okeke

Indigenous Gospel Artist, JOY OKEKE has released a brand new single titled “I Have Never Seen”. The song is a testament that the power of God is greater than anything mankind can imagine. God-sized power created the universe and everything within it, such as planets and people.

He wants you to put your faith in Him, not in a timetable. In His perfect way, He will put everything together, see to every detail… arrange every circumstance… and order every step to bring to pass what He has for you.

Scripture shares that all things are created by Jesus (John 1:3–4) and held together by Him.
The only thing that God cannot do is that GOD CANNOT LIE. “That by two immutable things, in which God couldn’t lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us” (Hebrews 6:18).

Joy Okeke is a Wife, Mother, and songwriter. She is a woman of GOD and a lover of Jesus Christ.

Housefires is back with new music this week (October 20). This new track is a preview of what to expect from ‘How To Start A Housefire Part III,’ which is due out Nov. 3rd via Capitol CMG / TRIBL Records.

Featured artist Davy Flowers leads an enchanting gospel choir on this song of comfort as “The Place Where I Belong” kicks off the new album. She sings of the solace she feels in God’s embrace, saying that she’s found where she’s supposed to be.

Forbes says that Housefires’ music creates an “atmosphere of overwhelming unity.” Since its inception, worship leading, songwriting, and collaboration were re-evaluated and reconstructed to reflect the Housefires model that embraced a more unfiltered sound and approach to worship from the writing room to the stage.

The single was recorded live in-the-round and led by Planetshakers band members singing along with Planetshakers Bible College students in their chapel.

Written and produced by Joth Hunt, “We Raise” follows “Supernatural Love: Live At Chapel” as the second single revealed from the 12-song Show Me Your Glory – Live At Chapel album set to release November 3 along with 12 companion videos.

The new recording re-crafts tracks from the full production Show Me Your Glory songs in a musically accessible way for smaller gatherings and features the core Planetshakers worship team, including Hunt, Sam EvansAndy HarrisonJosh HamAimee WalkerChelsi Nikkerud and Rudy Nikkerud.

“The whole heart behind the chapel recordings is to equip churches with big, powerful songs to help people change the atmosphere of whatever they are going through. This transcends any style or arrangement,” says Hunt. “While the album arrangements are meant to provide an easier way for churches to sing these songs, the thing that we don’t want to change is the passion and the spirit behind the praise and worship.”

“When we get together with our college students to capture the heart of worship, there is this passion and excitement in the room,” adds Pastor Sam Evans. “The students are at a point in their lives where they are so on fire for God. There is this beautiful, real and intimate roar connecting with God in an acoustic setting without the complexity of production.”

Afrobeats Worship Shares Debut Single “Bless The Lord (x10,000)”

Afrobeats Worship launches their debut single, “Bless The Lord (x10,000),” a unique reworking of Matt Redman’s classic worship song. Made of Kanji Mbugua and Rashon Murph, Afrobeats Worship brings a unique twist to the global Church’s worship by infusing their African roots into songs that have shaped the modern Church.

“Bless the Lord (x10,000)” emerged in a studio session alongside Kenyan artist Rigga as the three musicians pondered on how to rework a beloved Church anthem to make it relevant for younger generations. “We have seen young people in our lives choosing not to listen to Christian music and it’s alarming to us,” says Kanji.

“We wondered what it would look like to create music that young people can vibe to and experience the same powerful truth of God through.”

This unique debut single creates a fresh avenue to connect with God for the African Church and beyond. Initially released on social media, the song quickly gathered attention and Afrobeats Worship saw an overwhelming response.

“We approached the new arrangement from loving the original with the goal to create a song that young people who love this genre can connect with,” Kanji concludes. With this introductory release, Afrobeats Worship trailblazes new paths in the worship sphere and seeks to awaken fresh excitement about Jesus and worship in today’s Church.
