In a time where Christian praise music is no longer strictly traditional or lackluster, LifelineTNT Worship team continues to bring contagious and trendy joy to the masses with the release of their sophomore album AHAVA: The Love of God. The 11 track project launched with a Billboard in the middle of Times Square in New York and follows the release of their lead single “Bestie” which dropped a few weeks back. A ministry united and led by Prophetess Taryn Tarver, “Bestie” is an uptempo track with a contagious chorus accompanied by vocals and raps from members of the group Skylar Reign and Anointed Hope. “God explained to me that not all of the world understands the love of God. Through AHAVA the album, our mission is to overcome cultural barriers, demonstrate what true friendship looks like and bring a refreshing sound to Christian worship while articulating the true love of God.” – Prophetess Taryn
LifelineTNT Worship released their debut album Chanan: Favor of God in 2020. The project gained nationwide awareness across platforms as lead singles “God of Favor,” “My Desire” and “I Need You” became the soundtrack and frequently played intermission tracks during countless ministry classes, sermons, and conferences. Reminiscent of a Kirk Franklin God’s Property choir movement, Prophetess Taryn and LifelineTNT Worship continue to spread the message of God’s love, mercy, favor, and blessings in a way that even those who may not consider themselves church goers will enjoy. AHAVA: The Love of God is available now on all streaming platforms.
Fresh off the road after selling out 13 shows on their first-ever headline tour, We The Kingdom takes fans into the recording studio for a run of live performances on their ‘Live At Ocean Way Nashville’ album, out today, July 2nd via Capitol Christian Music Group. Recorded at Nashville’s iconic Ocean Way studios (Paul Simon, George Strait, Sheryl Crow), the record opens the curtain to a behind-the-scenes look at the captivating group’s stellar musicianship.
“We are so grateful to be releasing this album,” says Scott Cash. “Recording at Ocean Way was a bucket list item for all of us, and it was overwhelming to get to make a record in such a beautiful and iconic place. We had a blast getting to reimagine these songs that are so special to us for a live-in-studio recording!”
The album features songs from We The Kingdom’s 2019 chart-topping debut album ‘Holy Water,’ which earned awards for Billboard’s No. 1 Top New Christian Artist of 2020 and Dove Awards’ New Artist of the Year for 2020. It kicks off with a freeing anthem of thankfulness with “Take Me On A Ride,” followed by a spirited organ-led rendition of the band’s K-LOVE Fan Award-nominated breakout single and Top 10 Billboard Christian Song “Child of Love.” Ed Cash and Franni Rae Cash Cain’s soulful vocals carry through a message of forgiveness and faithful dependence on the twang-infused rocker “Holy Water,” while the ballad “Peace” reminds us that there is something to hold onto during life’s turbulence.
“Don’t Tread On Me” is a ghostly and guttural declaration of war against fear, and the band’s No. 1 hit “God So Loved” is an emotional reassurance of God’s mercy. “No Doubt About It” tips its hat to power ballads of yesteryear and closes the album with a hopefully melancholic reminder that there is promise for the future on the journey of life.
Grammy award winner Chris Tomlin is celebrating summer this holiday weekend with the debut of new music, Chris Tomlin & Friends: Summer EP. The project contains three new songs featuring Chris with country music superstar Tyler Hubbard (Florida Georgia Line/FGL), who also served as executive producer, Jimmie Allen and Russell Dickerson as well as two tracks that appeared on last summer’s #1 debuting album Chris Tomlin & Friends. Get the EP here.
One of those previously released songs, “Thank You Lord,” featuring Chris with FGL and Thomas Rhett, is Chris’ newest single and is headed to Christian radio immediately. The artists performed it together last summer on the Today Show and The Late Late Show with James Corden. “Thank You Lord” was written by Chris, Thomas Rhett, Tyler Hubbard, Corey Crowder and David Garcia and is the most consumed song from the album. To date, Chris Tomlin & Friends has more than 150 million global streams.

There are people of faith, people who really have a strong faith in God and are living that out in a really great way, in all genres.”

Our meeting was such a God thing, and what a cool opportunity for us to team up again, be able to create music together, and unite our two worlds even more.”
“‘Talk To Him’ was the first song we ever wrote together, and we knew it was the start of something special,” shared Russell. “It’s about how talking to God is like talking to a friend. No matter where you are or what it is, He is always listening!”
“I have been a fan of Chris Tomlin since his first album,” said Jimmie. “His music reaches beneath the surface. It’s been a dream of mine to do a song with him for years, and I’m glad it finally happened. Throughout the process of crafting new music during a global pandemic that created unprecedented obstacles for the local church, Wickham saw an opportunity – the church wasn’t relegated to a building. It was happening in our homes and in our hearts.
“Hymn of Heaven is full of praise and thankfulness, just lifting up the name of Jesus and speaking what we really know the reality is even though we don’t see it,” he says. “All I want to do is facilitate moments where people can encounter the presence of God.”
Collaborators who joined Wickham to write for Hymn of Heaven include multi-GRAMMY winners Jonathan Smith (who also produced the album), Jason Ingram, Ethan Hulse, Brian Johnson, Ricky and Ran Jackson, as well as Passion City’s Sean Curran, Hillsong’s Chris Davenport, Bethel Music’s Kalley Heiligenthal, and Brandon Lake, who is featured on the track “Where I’m Standing Now.”
“I just want to write songs that I’d want to sing with my church in a way that musically lights my heart up, and I think I’ve done that better on this record than I ever have before,” Wickham adds, fully comfortable in his artistic skin. “I cannot wait for people to hear this album. I can’t wait for these songs to be a part of people’s lives.”
To promote the album, Wickham is touring this spring and summer on his Night Of Worship tour along with festival dates throughout the summer. It was also recently announced he will appear alongside Pat Barrett and Brandon Lake this fall on their Singalong Tour hitting various cities across the U.S. Be sure to visit his touring page to find out more.
Singer-songwriter Ellie Holcomb releases her third studio LP, Canyon, today in partnership with Capitol CMG. This hope-filled album showcases an all-star team of co-writers such as Natalie Hemby, Bear Rinehart of NEEDTOBREATHE, Thad Cockrell, David Leonard, and Jon Guerra, was produced by Cason Cooley and executive produced by her father Brown Bannister. Canyon is a record about a deeper sorrow and a higher hope. Click here to listen to the full-length album.
“To be human is to be broken,” shares Ellie Holcomb about the central theme flowing throughout her album. “We all know what it is for our hearts to be split wide open like a canyon by the pain and loss and sorrow, we encounter here. I spent a lot of my life trying to pretend like I wasn’t broken, trying to ignore some of the deepest wounds in my own story and some of the deepest wounds in the world around me, but what I encountered as I began to lean into these broken places was the nearness, kindness, and empathy of God, who sent His son to break for us, so we could know that our brokenness is never the end of the story.”
Early feedback on the album showcases the strength of the messages in Holcomb’s songs. Outlets such as American Songwriter have highlighted the heart Holcomb vulnerably shares with the listener in an interview posted this week. “In the midst of a great deal of brokenness, Canyon resounds triumphantly. By sharing the wholeness she found within those ancient walls, Holcomb’s new songs sound like joy. The record is invitational in nature, overcoming the unimaginable as a collective” (American Songwriter).
Other outlets are calling it one of the top albums of the year. “Canyon is sure to be one of the top albums of the year. This is truly a moving and prayerful album” (New Release Today). Holcomb also touches on important topics such as racial reconciliation with an interview on the Worship Online podcast. She’s also spoken with Catholic Faith Network, The Gospel Coalition, CBN Studio 5, The Libby O Show, and the Between You & Me podcast, and more to come.
Her debut radio single is “I Don’t Want To Miss It,” which is currently in the Top 30 on the Billboard Airplay chart and Top 25 the AC Indicator chart with 38 stations on the song. The official video has more than 110k views on YouTube. Leading up to today’s release, Holcomb has debuted visually stunning videos, some of which were taped in the Santa Elena Canyon in Big Bend National Park. Check below for the official music videos recently released for four of the 12 tracks.
Fans can catch Ellie Holcomb this fall during special performances. She will be joining Lauren Daigle for her World Tour on select dates in September.
