Brand New is a collection of eleven inspirational songs, each of which showcase Lena’s powerhouse vocals and her unique ability to manipulate her voice to evoke the needed emotion – being comfort, motivation or reassurance. Upon pre-ordering the project, fans received access to a new, unreleased track from the album, “I’m On Your Side” – a reminder that success is guaranteed to those who firmly put their trust and faith in God.

Ahead of the release of her album, Lena Byrd Miles has already shared three singles, all of which have been well received at Gospel stations and have garnered over 400,000 collective streams on Spotify alone. The campaign towards the release of Brand New began with the first teaser single, “This Is The Day” in 2019. After a brief hiatus due to the Coronavirus pandemic, Lena returned in 2021 with “Watch Me” at the top of the summer, and “W.O.W. (Walk On Water)” a few months later. While introducing Gospel fans to the feeling they could expect from her forthcoming album, Lena Byrd Miles was also being introduced to an even broader audience, thanks to two high-profile televised performances. In April 2021, she led Kanye West’s Sunday Service Choir in a moving rendition of The Clark Sisters’ classic ‘You Brought The Sunshine’ during BET’s broadcast of multi-platinum rapper and actor DMX’s homegoing service. And in March 2022, Lena was tapped to lead the choir performing Shirley Caesar’s “Heaven” as the soundtrack to the In Memoriam tribute at the 2022 Academy Awards.

Since launching her career under the tutelage of Edwin Hawkins as a member of the New Edwin Hawkins Singers, Lena Byrd Myles’ gifts have opened many doors. She has shared the stage with such luminaries as Tye Tribbett, Lalah Hathaway, Deitrick Haddon, Dorinda Clark Cole, John P. Kee, Doobie Powell, the late Thomas “TC” Clay, and many more. Today, she is proud to take the torch handed to her by the legendary Hawkins family and forge a new path not only continuing the journey of the rich heritage of Gospel music, but by also introducing new sound and energy into the space.

Nigerian Christian contemporary and gospel singer, songwriter, and music minister, Omolola Owoeye, better known as “Loolla”, releases a brand new EP titled “I Am Yahweh”. She has previously released few singles such as “My Year”, Messiah, Majere, and “E Seun Funmi”.

“I Am Yahweh” is a 4-track, 30 minutes deep worship session recorded live in a spirit-filled atmosphere. These songs bring down God’s presence and are particularly useful in personal devotions and prayers. The EP is available on all digital streaming platforms on the 14th of October 2022.

Loolla – I Am Yahweh

Internationally renowned singer/songwriter and worship music icon Don Moen has released a new project, The Upper Room Sessions, available today on all digital streaming platforms.

The project includes new recordings of some of Don’s most-loved songs through the years, including, “Like Eagles,” “Dwelling Places,” “All We Like Sheep,” and more.

“I always enjoy leading worship for a large gathering with great musicians and singers backing me up, but there is also something beautiful about singing these songs in an unplugged, intimate setting,” says Don. “The Upper Room Sessions gave me an opportunity to worship with these classic songs again in a simple, vulnerable setting…the way they were originally written.”

Recorded with an acoustic band, the recording also features duets with Rachel Robinson and Tom Lane. The Upper Room Sessions is available now on digital platforms. 

Augusta-based Christian singer-songwriter and worship leader Daniel Mulkey is releasing his first-ever full album entitled, “Real” on October 21st.

Inspired by Psalm 107:2, Mark 5:19 and 1 Chronicles 16:8, “Real” encapsulates the importance of a Christian believer’s testimony, combatting the shame traditional churches struggled with when it came to the topic of sin.

“God has freed us to speak up and share about the love and forgiveness we have experienced only through a relationship with Jesus,” Mulkey said. “When artists, or any believer, says that they too have struggles – that’s when God can break down the wall and truly begin to change lives.”

Mulkey had the idea for the new album when he and his wife noticed a well-known Christian artist having a hard time at a concert they were attending. Mulkey could tell that the artist was trying to keep up appearances rather than publicly expressing the emotion they were feeling.

“When we walked back to the car that evening, I hummed ‘I want to be real,’” Mulkey said. “Thankfully, that artist has since spoken about that night and they were able to get the help they needed.”

Because of the message to open up about struggles so that all can see God, audiences who experienced the album pre-release emphasized how relatable each song was.

Not only is the artist urging readers to listen to his new album, Real,but he is also sharing a widespread call to action for listeners to resist fear and share their testimonies with others.

“The story of redemption is the most powerful message you can share,” Mulkey said. “Only YOU can testify of what God has done in your life. Let Him shine. BE REAL.”

German band YADA Worship release their first ever live album titled ‘Mein Zeugnis’, translating to “My Testimony”.

With seven new songs recorded in a house of worship and prayer in Northern Germany, YADA Worship hope to inspire fresh language and opportunities for encounter with the Lord for the German-speaking Church.

Dreamers releases their self-titled debut LP. The Australian-based worship team, out of Influencers Church, release a 10-song power barrage of beautiful melodies, hooky rhythms an hopeful lyrics that will make you dance one minute and raise your hands in worship the next.

After their debut album released in the summer, Local Sound introduce dreamy live versions of some favorites with their new EP ‘Live From The Fairlane’.

Recorded on the rooftop of a hotel in downtown Nashville, the new project features some leaders from Local Sound’s house church movement ‘MyLocal’. Band leader Jared Runion explains how “there was something special about being on a rooftop with our church and singing songs like ‘Time And Time Again’ literally over our city.”

The emotion of this special occasion is palpable on the project as Local Sound lead us with their disarming and inviting genuineness.
