Reminiscing on how this song came to be, CalledOut Music says, “Worst Days’ is a song I wrote when I got home at the end of a really bad day. Inspired by Ephesians 3 verses 17 to 18, I found comfort in writing my heart out to God. There are days when it feels like I’m not doing all I should be doing in my walk with God. As believers we may not have it all figured out; we will have imperfect days that make us question everything. This track is for the believer that feels condemned or unworthy; I hope this reminds us to lean into God’s abundant love and live from that place. We couldn’t earn His love, because we already have it. All we need to do is bask in that love and LIVE!”

Worst Days – Calledout Music

Although it takes decades for traditions to be formed, CalledOut Music’s end-of-year gift is something we now comfortably look forward to. This 2022 single, which the artist shared a snippet of weeks ago has been worth the suspense. ‘Ese’, a Yoruba word translating to ‘Thank You’ is an Afro-pop single that speaks of God’s unending faithfulness.

With lyrics that feel like a joyful home, and a blend of contemporary yet traditional highlife tunes, CalledOut Music presents a timeless ode to God for an eventful year thus far.

Reflecting on the track, COM says, ”It started off as a freestyle.  We all should have moments when we pause and reflect on God’s goodness; Ese was written on one of those days. I wrote it one gratitude-filled morning. It really became a full fledged song after the overwhelming response it received on social media – so many people wanted a full version out quickly.  I hope it reminds listeners to always give thanks regardless.”

Today, December 2nd, COGHIVE presents her 2022 Christmas Playlist, the sixth in a series of incredible playlists that have left our devoted audience spellbound and in step with the cadence of the season.

Christmas is a time to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ and to reflect on how God’s great love for humanity was manifest in the humble form of a baby.

In keeping with tradition, we’ve spent some time selecting songs from the most recent Christmas/Holiday albums to curate playlists flavored by the season’s abundance of ballads, Carols, and other unique kinds of musicals and poetry.

We’ve all waited for a lot of things in the past but nothing compares to the wait for CalledOut Music’s highly anticipated album. My Beautiful Reality (MBR), the album, is indeed a beauty! Listening to each track, you hear the maturity of sounds he’s explored over the years. He invites longtime friends – Guvna B, Samm Henshaw, IMRSQD, StillShadey, Zo Chilengwe along for the ride including other budding newcomers such as RORE who released her first single last month. 

According to Samuel, “Since I decided to accept the direction that God wanted me to go over 5 years ago, it has been a roller coaster ride full of steep drops and high climbs, happy crescendos and worrying troughs that got me shook. Until now, there hasn’t been a lack-luster moment. When I quit my well paying job to face music full time, I didn’t quite realize how tough it would be. It’s a miracle that I’m still doing CalledOut Music with a smile on my face – I remain super grateful.”

With each song blending seamlessly into the next, listeners are taken on a journey of life, trials, faith and what it means to be unconditionally loved by an ever-present Father. “Nobody Like You” is arguably one of the Christian Afrobeat classics. The song was released in August 2019. Followed by the music video, which was shot in Pretoria, South Africa & got released on the 4th of October same year. Kingdmusic & CalledOut Music decided to work on the new versions/ remixes of the song after a couple of fans asked that the pair work on another collaborative project over the years.

“I personally just want people to be reminded that there’s no one who can love them and who’s got their back like Jesus. Our God is forever there with us through all different seasons of life and that’s what the song is all about.” – Kingdmusic.

Nobody Like You was inspired by 1Chronicles 17:20 which says, “There is no one like you, Lord, and there is no God but you, as we have heard with our own ears.”

The remixes of the song were produced by P-Tempo, a South African producer and the original track was produced by C-Tea, a multi award-winning Ghanaian producer & artist.

US-based extraordinary Afrogospel singer and entrepreneur TJSarx is out with a new blazing song titled ‘I Am‘.

Speaking about this new song, the confess crooner said; “Many of us today experience an identity crisis. At a point in my life I was going through a phase where it seemed like I was losing myself. In the midst of the pain and confusion, God began to remind me of who I am”.

“This new song is an affirmation that we are only who our father says who are – not what the world, our situation, circumstances says”.

Below are some scriptures to give an insight into what the song “I AM” is all about. John 1:12 – I am a Child of God, John 15:1,5 – I am a friend of Jesus and John 3:16 – I am loved.

As New Year celebrations begin, there’s usually one phrase on the tip of our lips – ‘Thank You Lord!’ It’s a time  when we’re all giving thanks to the One who has seen us through a difficult year and has given us the power to  live, to move, and be the best we can be.

It’s the most wonderful time of the year and honestly, 2021 couldn’t end any better! The Mobo award winning artist from the HFP Music label, one of UK’s top gospel record labels is excited to share an exciting new single for us all to enjoy this Christmas. CalledOut Music announced this new single after successfully concluding his 5 city US  tour in November. The Gratitude Tour was a an unforgettable experience that featured great artists like Joe Mettle, Phil  Thompson and many more.  

‘Oba Ti De’ meaning ‘The King Has Come’ in Yoruba, one of the major languages in Nigeria is a song which announces the  triumphant coming of our Saviour!  

It is a track like none that has been previously released by CalledOut Music. A traditional and contemporary gospel blend  celebrating the birth of Christ and the joy it brings. It is also an incredible way for CalledOut Music to end the year and  thank his fans for their enormous support through 2021!
