The Belonging Co, the fast-growing church based in Nashville, recently released a music video for “Here Now” featuring Andrew Holt. “Here Now” is a live worship moment featured on The Belonging Co’s newest album, Now.

Recorded live at The Belonging Co Conference, this song is a celebration of how Jesus’ life, death, and resurrection have granted believers access to the presence of God. The veil is torn and two and we get to rejoice in our ability to experience Him here and now.

The Belonging Co church was founded by Henry and Alex Seeley in 2014 in the basement of their home with only four people in the very first meeting. Now, The Belonging Co sees thousands of people gather each weekend at their Nashville, TN, Columbia, TN and online locations. Thompson, who wrote the song with A.J. Pruis (Matthew West) and Matt Armstrong (Chris Tomlin), shares, “It’s more important than ever to run into the arms of Jesus. People, including myself, are facing times in their lives where they need healing or they’re walking through pain or tragedy. I believe as humans we have the choice to run to the ways of this world or run and fall into the arms of Jesus and in His arms, we can find the healing, the hope, and the strength that we need.”

With a desire to create music that reaches people of all ages, Cade Thompson strives to bridge the gap for people to bring their struggles to Jesus, that it is in His arms alone that peace can be found.

He will be sharing “Arms Of Jesus,” along with previous releases from his 2021 album, Bigger Story, and more on tour this summer. Along with hitting numerous festivals, plans are underway for a fall tour.

Love & The Outcome share the official music video for “Look What God Has Done,” which can be viewed below. The track is from their third studio LP, Only Ever Always, which dropped earlier this year (Apr 1).

The full-length project releases on the heels of the one-year anniversary of the flood that destroyed the couple’s Nashville home, which occurred only a week after they recorded their current radio single, “I’m Not Lucky, I’m Blessed.”

The recent flooding of their home inspired the 13-track collection as the couple realized rain precedes the rainbow. Produced by Seth Mosley, Mark Campbell and Colin Munroe, the album is colored by the act’s signature blend of positive pop and a retro groove. It boasts select songs from their 2020 EP, You’ve Got This, as well as future hits like “More” and “Nothing Surprises You,” featuring Maverick City Music’s Stefan Cashwell.

Award-winning singer/songwriter J. Douglas Wright releases “Getting Started” to Christian country-formatted radio outlets today. The single, recorded pre-pandemic in 2020, features Wright’s mother, Kitty Wright, who passed away in 2021, and shares a message of God’s many promises.

“Mama can be heard singing, shouting, whistling and laughing on the song,” Wright points out. “She was a young 88 years old when the song was recorded and she is doing these things and more from Heaven today.”

With references to Jeremiah 1:5, Joshua 1:9 and Psalm 23:4, the song also reflects on God’s perspective on time, as found in 2 Peter 3:8, which says, “Do not forget this one thing, with the Lord, a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years like a day.”

“When we see our lives through His eyes,” Wright says, “we realize that even if we spend one hundred years on this earth, this is closer to one tenth of a day to God.”

“Getting Started” is from Wright’s album titled “Breathing Fire Like Dragons,” which was nominated in 2020 for best Christian album by the Independent Music Awards (IMA). Wright took home Christian Artist of the Year in 2020 from the International Music and Entertainment Association (IMEA). Through the years, Wright, who originally is from Asheville, N.C., and currently lives in Georgia, has won multiple awards as an artist and songwriter, including being named the Grand Prize Winning Songwriter by the International Songwriting Competition (ISC).

Wright’s music is rooted in modern and classic rock styles with the themes of faith, following Christ’s example of unconditional love and recognizing the gifts God gives us daily as recurring messages in his music.

Brandon “Swaff” Swafford produced “Getting Started” for Wright’s Mama’s Hippopotamus Music label. Swafford and Wright co-wrote the single, which was recorded at The Delivery Room in Villa Rica, Georgia.

Recording together is a family activity for the Wrights. “Getting Started” is the second single featuring Wright’s mother. The first, “Mama’s Faith,” reached No. 3 on the Christian Music Weekly Country Christian Chart and No. 1 on the Christian Radio Chart (CRC). Wright’s sister, Constance, is also a vocalist on “Getting Started.”
