Capitol CMG artist and songwriter Anne Wilson releases her full-length debut, My Jesus, today (Apr 22). The album’s title track catapulted Wilson up the Billboard Christian Airplay chart in 2021 making her the first female artist to debut at No. 1 on the chart as well as the longest-running No. 1 song on the chart for 2021.
Amidst the whirlwind of the last year, Wilson’s maintained her southern charm and hopes her genuine love for others shines through on her debut album. Each song on the album, co-written with songwriting heavy-hitters like Matthew West, Mia Fields, Jonathan Smith, Jeff Pardo, Emily Weisband, Ben Glover, and more, is specifically crafted, a moment-in-time snapshot of Wilson’s self-discovery as she walks a new and unplanned life road.
“This record was written over the last two years of my life and is a collection of songs that each mean different things to me,” shares Anne Wilson. “Every song is a different side of me as an artist – country, worship, and radio – songs that speak to the masses and songs that speak to specific people or seasons. I feel like God placed this calling over my life to minister to those who’ve lost someone and are hurting. With these songs, I want to speak life and joy to people walking through pain and loss.”
The dynamic, multicultural youth ministry of Planetshakers Church, planetboom, releases its fourth album, You, Me, The Church, That’s Us – Side B, today (Apr 22) to digital and streaming outlets globally from Venture3Media (V3M).
The diverse youth culture at planetboom that represents at least 60 nationalities translates the mission of Planetshakers Church into eclectic music that creates a unique space for an international audience to find an intimate sense of belonging as part of the church family.
Side A was recorded at the planetboom conference held April 2021 and in Planetshakers’ Melbourne studio. The combination of tightly crafted studio arrangements and live worship creates a dynamic record that ranges from big, broad statements about the church family, to intimate, personal moments between individuals and God. Side B of the album was recorded at the latest planetboom conference held earlier this year (Jan. 10) in Melbourne. The new music adds to the linear fashion of the tracklist, and is meant to move listeners directly from the Side A, soul soaking last track, “Selah Moment,” into the next phase of worship.
Northern California duo, NOBLE POETS, came together to shine a light on the darker side of life. Jevon ‘ODW’ Barnes and Caleb May are bringing an honest, earnest brand of Hip Hop, derived from real life to real fans of the genre. The duo’s EP – THE FLAW – is available today. This will be the first of 2 EPs released of their (per Soundsphere magazine) “cool Alternative Hip Hop.”
The three previously-released singles (“Never Fit In” / “Humpty Dumpty” / “Xans”) will be included on the EP and had epic music videos inspired by Barnes’ real life experiences with domestic violence, addiction and living on the streets. He also brings his daughter’s POV of his addiction to light through “Xans.” Barnes’ son, Nolan, plays him in the “Never Fit In” video and his eldest daughter, Mekenzie, is played by his youngest, Adelyne in “Xans.”
He brings forth his story in order to help others see that it is ok to seek help dealing with all manner of trauma. “His story is jaw dropping and inspiring… you’re going to be hearing a LOT about Jevon Barnes,” says Recovery Today Magazine.
Discovered by Brian ‘Head’ Welch of KORN, NOBLE POETS brings something fresh to the scene. “I met Jevon around 2012 and it didn’t take long to realize how much we had in common. Years ago, after hearing some of his demos, I noticed right away there was something appealing about Jevon’s flow and how he opened himself up so completely with his lyrics,” Welch explains. “No flash, no pretense, just REAL life and real suffering laid out, in order to connect with others. With the addition of Caleb, the missing ingredient was discovered and the formation of Noble Poets was the logical next step. I really believe Noble Poets put something together that goes deeper that just music and will affect their fans in a profound way.”

PRAISESHIP is energizing, uplifting, and different than most Christian music.”
As one of America’s most exciting Catholic performers, Melendrez is a natural MC, a dynamic musical performer, an inspiring speaker, and an expert retreat leader. His new project, PRAISESHIP, is sure to help listeners find new fresh ways to praise God and make a joyful noise.
Leon Remnant has finally released the eagerly anticipated album titled “Faith Over Fear”(F.O.F).
In his words: “Faith Over Fear” is a project God put in my heart for some years now. I’m very transparent in this project by expressing my artistic creativity through the whole project.
“We live in a chaotic world filled with violence, health crisis, anxiety and other socio-economic issues. But this album is aimed at building our hope and faith to trust in God. This album also expresses the story of my life from how I used to struggle before I met Jesus Christ and how my life changed since the day I surrendered my life to God and asked Him to use me for his glory.
“I urge everyone to give the album a listening ear because it’s a project I made for everyone. It’s the F.O.F Season!”
