Fair Trade Services is celebrating multiple stand-out Dove Award wins for both CeCe Winans and Phil Wickham during the 53rd Annual GMA Dove Awards.  The two artists took home awards in the coveted categories of Artist of the Year, Song of the Year, Songwriter of the Year (Artist), Worship Album of the Year and Worship Song of the Year.

In front of a live audience at Lipscomb University’s Allen Arena in Nashville, TN., Winans was presented with Song of the Year for “Believe For It” and Artist of the Year, raising her career Dove Award tally to 29. Additionally, Winans made history becoming the first African American female to win Artist of the Year.

“All I wanted for this record was for it to touch the hearts of people so they would be encouraged and filled with hope,” said Winans. “But its success far exceeded all that I could have imagined. To God be the glory!”

Award-winning artist, songwriter, and worship leader Phil Wickham took home three Dove awards for Worship Song of the Year (“Hymn of Heaven), Worship Album of the Year (Hymn of Heaven) and Song-Writer of the Year (Artist).

“Floored once again by God’s grace and kindness that I even get to do this,” remarked Wickham. “What a joy and privilege it is to write new songs for the church to sing, and to do it alongside this beautiful family/community. Thank you Jesus for giving me reason and purpose, a future Hope and a present joy. You are and will forever be the center of my song.”

The GMA Dove Awards were taped live in Nashville, TN, on October 18th, 2022 and aired exclusively on TBN and the TBN app October 21st.  An encore presentation aired on October 28th, 2022 at 8:00p.m. ET and 10:00p.m. ET.

Worship leader Phil Wickham has released a brand new Christmas song for the church that is available now. The song, “BEHOLD (ft. Anne Wilson),” will bring worship into the holiday season.

“What a joy it is to release my new Christmas single ‘BEHOLD,’” shares Phil Wickham. “I love how this song balances both new and familiar Christmas lyrics, and I can’t wait to sing this one with the church.”

Wickham is known not only for his countless songs sung in churches around the world including his RIAA Platinum-certified song, “This Is Amazing Grace,” but for his inspiring Christmas music. He’s released several Christmas projects including the most recent releases: Christmas: Acoustic Sessions (2020) and Christmas (2019).

Celebrating Christ’s birth this season, Wickham will head out on a special holiday tour in December. BEHOLD Christmas Nights features special guest Anne Wilson and Brandon Lake (on December 10th). The west coast tour will be held in Sacramento, Las Vegas, Anaheim, and San Diego, which sold out within 72 hours of being on sale, for a special night of seasonal celebration. Multi-platinum super group Maverick City Music releases new music with their single titled “Worthy Of My Song” featuring Phil Wickham, Chandler Moore and the Mav City Gospel Choir.

The track was written by Wickham, Steven Furtick, David Brymer & Ryan Hall. The official music video, out via TRIBL, can be viewed below. This performance was recorded October 28th, 2021 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York during Maverick City Music’s debut tour. Recounting times of victory, loss, hurt, and the overall tests and trials that life brings, this song expresses the importance of praise and worship regardless of our circumstances.

Earlier this month, Maverick City Music became GRAMMY Award winners after taking home the award for Best Contemporary Christian Music Album for Old Church Basement with Elevation Worship.

Celebrated worship artist Phil Wickham shares new music with his latest project Hymn of Heaven (Acoustic Sessions). The 12 track collection re-imagines songs Wickham shared in 2021 in a new, intimate, stripped-down setting. Hymn of Heaven (Acoustic Sessions) is available now to download/stream. Wickham’s Hymn of Heaven tour runs through June with an updated tour schedule here.

“There’s a cliff near our home that overlooks the ocean. It’s become my families ‘sunset spot’. We’ll pile into the van and head there to watch the sun come down over the Pacific, usually with some In-N-Out or ice cream in hand. It’s always a beautiful time together,” Wickham posts on social media when speaking about the inspiration behind the new collection. “I recorded ‘Hymn Of Heaven – Acoustic Sessions’ with that exact scene in mind. I actually have a photo of my kids at our ‘sunset spot’, and throughout the project I kept coming back to that photo. I wanted to make a version of ‘Hymn Of Heaven’ that would be a soundtrack to those kinds of moments…I hope and pray this album is a blessing. That it brings peace and focuses your heart on Jesus.”

Throughout the process of crafting new music during a global pandemic that created unprecedented obstacles for the local church, Wickham saw an opportunity – the church wasn’t relegated to a building. It was happening in our homes and in our hearts. “Hymn of Heaven is full of praise and thankfulness, just lifting up the name of Jesus and speaking what we really know the reality is even though we don’t see it,” he says. “All I want to do is facilitate moments where people can encounter the presence of God.”

This is the first single from Wickham’s upcoming Hymn of Heaven (Acoustic Sessions) set to drop later this month (Mar 25).

Phil Wickham, Brandon Lake and Maverick City Music appeared on GMA3 on Monday December 20. Their performance of “Joy To The World (Joyful, Joyful),” off of Wickham’s 2019 Christmas album, aired to promote “Christmas with The Chosen: The Messengers.”

Ahead of the taped performance, “The Chosen” creator Dallas Jenkins discussed the new Christmas special, which grossed more than $10 million in movie theaters across the country during opening weekend. You can watch “Christmas with The Chosen: The Messengers” at select theaters nationwide and on “The Chosen” app.
