Before I had 22 songs and I had just canceled my show on March 12th, 2020. So, instead of sitting idly by, I went into the studio that night and wrote #HardSeason.” West posted on social media.
He continued, “The #HardSeason music video plays out against the backdrop of dark storm footage that showcases the reality of the pandemic, when all of our dreams felt like they went up in smoke. Sometimes, God delivers us out of hard seasons.”

Matthew West is kicking off the year with more new music with the release of a new track “Miracle Time” out today. He also shared the accompanying lyric video.
“I’m releasing this song out into the world after seeing God’s miracle take form in a different light. If you feel like you’re facing the impossible, I hope this song reminds you that our God does impossible things,” West posted on social media.
West added, “‘Miracle Time’ was inspired by our family friend J.O. who was fighting for his life due to complications from Covid-19. When the doctors said there was little hope, we gathered a group together to worship and pray. J.O’s wife, Julie, told us, ‘It’s miracle time.’
The miracle we prayed for J.O. to receive didn’t come in this life; but we still sing praises because we know that the Miracle Worker is always working,”
