South African Gospel Artist, Stefan Green Releases New Single “I Love the Cross”

South African born and bred, Stefan Green is passionate about music, crafting, and creating art that causes the veil to be lifted, giving way to a clearer image of God for all. With an ongoing burning desire to communicate the Heart of the Father, he is a songwriter and worship leader. Worship runs through his veins, and he knows that through this, the presence of the Holy Spirit will bring transformation to the world around him. 

His latest single “I Love the Cross” evokes a variety of emotions, some joyful and some overwhelming. Whether we have looked to the cross for hope in the past or seen it as a weapon of destruction, there is a hope that is supposed to emerge with it that reminds us that pain and death may take over, but resurrection is technically ours to claim.

There’s a love that should accompany the cross, not many have felt this in its fullness but it doesn’t take away from the truth of the hope it holds. “My hope with this song is that you may either find further delight in the cross or rekindle a love for it as you let go of the pain its association has caused. Imagine humanity with fresh love and understanding of the cross.

So much could be different if we allowed space for it. May this song symbolize a renewed sense of trust, hope, and healing”, Stefan said.

He has been part of creating Elevation Worship, Localsound, Lifeworship, Bridge Worship and many more also contributed to a GMA Dove Award Worship Album nomination with songs on Here As In Heaven & There Is A Cloud.
