Two of the most respected and talented Christian/Catholic recording artists, Steve Angrisano and Sarah Hart, have delivered a beautiful musical setting for the Chaplet of Divine Mercy during this holy season. Even though the chaplet can be prayed at any time, the message during the Lent and Easter season is especially powerful.
This wonderful setting by Steve and Sarah offers a modern backdrop to this traditional prayer, particularly showcasing the beautiful and approachable harmonies sung by two talented artists. The music is now available on digital outlets that include YouTube, Spotify, Apple Music, etc., and may be purchased HERE.
“My wife and I have done our best to put this beautiful family and parish friendly prayer in the hands of as many people as possible—a prayer that speaks of the inexhaustible mercy of God’s love. For young and old alike to share this prayer together, in the car, at home, as a lullaby for your children; this prayer is for anyone desiring to draw closer to God and bring others with them.” – Steve Angrisano
“It was such a true joy and honor to be able to write this music with my friend, Steve. I have seen first-hand the countless prayers lifted and answered in the devotion to this Chaplet that Steve has taken on. My hope is that through this music, hearts will be moved to pray and trust in the Divine Mercy of Christ and be comforted in the love of God in this beautiful prayer.” – Sarah Hart
The Chaplet of Divine Mercy is a prayer that was given by Christ to Sister Faustina at the Congregation of our Lady of Mercy, which has grown into publications, prayer books, brochures, and featured in multiple languages. The messages from Christ and devotion to this prayer has grown into a worldwide phenomenon of faith. It’s the most famous prayer for mercy, and Pope John Paul II proclaimed the universal feast of Divine Mercy during the canonization Mass for St. Faustina in the year 2000.
