Teaming up with long time friend and producer Sajan Nauriyal, Katie set out to bring to light a group of songs that were birthed from some of the biggest challenges she has ever faced. Songs like “Home” and “Shepherd” express a raw desire to simply be with God. “Where You Are” and “Into Your Love” bring us into a joyful remembrance of the beauty of walking with God. “Taste & See” highlights an intimate & worshipful moment based on the scriptures.

Talking about her journey in creating this EP, Katie shared this: “All these songs are very personal, they were written in my bedroom and were my response to Jesus when he remained my only constant during many seasons of change and loss. Through the grief, through the pain, I was learning how to be truly content in Him. Comprehending the fact that Jesus himself is my home and where I belong. Ultimately, I felt these songs were an actual body of work. I thought this might be something that is beyond me and that’s what pushed me to step out as an artist and songwriter to create this EP.” Where I Belong is available now on all platforms.

Contemporary Christian Band, Elevation Worship released her brand new project, At Midnight on friday, August 30. This project consists of five songs, including their already-released single, “See A Victory.” The songs on At Midnight tell a timeless message: God is in control even when we aren’t.

“I think my favorite part about this project is its versatility,” says Chris Brown of Elevation Worship. “It has uplifting anthems like ‘See A Victory’ and slow ballads like ‘With You.’ One reminds us that God will fight our battles if we invite Him in, and the other reminds us to lean into Him in the stillness. I just feel like this project has a song for every season and a mantra for every mindset.”

At Midnight was recorded at Elevation Church Matthews and includes songs like “See A Victory,” “It Is So,” and a live version of “With You,” which originally appeared on their last project, Paradoxology.

“For this album, we drew a lot of inspiration from Acts 16 where Paul and Silas are thrown into prison,” says Chris Brown. “As they worshiped God, verse 25 tells us that the prison doors swung open at midnight and their chains were loosed. With this project, we asked the question: What if our praise was the kind of praise that broke chains?”

UK based – Ghanaian born Gospel Musician, Hanson Asiedu presents to you his first body of work, aptly named Stages: The EP, Following a successful 2017 Kick starter crowdfunding campaign.

Stages: The EP is a 5 track eclectic collection, with styles ranging from the West African Highlife influenced ‘God Of Your Word’, the stripped back acoustic vibes of ‘Easy On Me’, and the soul-funk fusion heard on ‘Lessons You Learn’.

Recording the EP was a collaborative effort, with contributions from Nigeria, the United States, Ghana, and the United Kingdom.

Hanson Asiedu beams, ‘I am very proud of this body of work. It’s taken me a few years to get it together, so it makes it even more of an achievement for me. I’ve laughed, I’ve cried, I’ve been hopeful, disappointed, even angry at times out of frustration. But all is fair in love and war, and I’ve definitely faced some warfare on this journey.’

Hailing from the rich cultural heritage of Ghana, Hanson says ‘I am the only musical one in my family as far as I know, other than my great grandfather who was a Methodist Church organist.’

The interest and relationship with music started from a young age; from singing and dancing in the primary school playground and being chased by other children asking him to sing, through to convincing friends on the phone that he was Craig David.

Hanson Asiedu has sang in choirs, almost signed a deal in the early 2000’s with an independent record label, and traveled extensively across the UK wherever the music may lead, including busking on the streets of London. Hanson is a graduate of the Academy Of Contemporary Music, Guildford.

Hanson’s faith underpins the songs he pens, lines he sings, and messages he delivers, and his expression of a deeply founded faith in God is undeniable.
