[Music] We Are Ready – VoxMusic

VoxMusic, the worship collective of New England’s Vox Church, today released their latest worship single “We Are Ready” to all digital platforms. Giving voice to a cry for revival across their region, the song has served as an anthem within their local church community inspiring thousands across their church with its message of hope.

“We see when the community of believers in Acts 2 gathered together with expectation, a move of God occurred,” said Vox Church Creative Director Joey Silva. “This story of the upper room being filled with the holy spirit created in us a hunger for more of God—a disruption to plans, a wave of revival, a deeper desire for him. This is the place that ‘We are Ready’ was birthed out of. It’s a prayer and a statement to God, from the community of believers, the Church, to see a move of the impossible—in our own hearts and in the lives around us.”

Mixed and mastered by Chris Bevins (Laura Story, Phillips Craig & Dean, Jaci Velasquez), “We Are Ready” continues VoxMusic’s history of releasing powerful homegrown worship songs for the broader church. The single follows their previous releases such as “More Than Alive,” “Grateful,” and “Loyal,” which together have amassed over half a million streams.

“Our hope is that this awakens a desire for the Holy Ghost that may have grown dormant in some and a stirring of faith that we serve a God who is active and powerful,” added Silva.

[Music] Shackles (Praise You) – Coby James

Accomplished, TigerBeat-featured new artist and 20-year-old singer, songwriter and guitarist Coby James releases “Shackles (Praise You)” to radio and digital / streaming outlets everywhere today from Centricity Music. The song features Motown Gospel / Capitol CMG’s Evvie McKinney and pays tribute to Mary Mary as a new version of their career-launching debut single released at the turn of the century.

With John Mayer, Justin Bieber, Shawn Mendes and other influences apparent in his music, James infuses his popular music stylings with soul, urban gospel vibes on “Shackles (Praise You).” This song showcases his rare talent alongside McKinney, winner of the inaugural season of the TV singing competition The Four: Battle for Stardom on FOX

“‘Shackles (Praise You)’ is such a killer song, and I am excited to introduce it to my generation! Most of us weren’t even born when the original came out,” chuckles James. “Even cooler that I get to sing a Mary Mary song with Evvie during ‘Women’s History Month.’ I’m hoping that music fans think our cover is a worthy tribute to the original.”

“We value fun a lot. And we also aim to develop new artists for the future of the format,” adds Kris Love, Centricity Music’s Senior Director Of National Promotion. “What better way to increase the joy on the radio than with two great young artists and a fantastically fresh take on a familiar classic and joyful song from 20 years ago!”

Playing “Shackles (Praise You)” live during the recent NewReleaseToday.com “We Love Christian Music Awards,” where he was nominated for New Artist / Group of the Year, James’ new single becomes his second release to AC radio following last year’s Billboard Top 10 Hot AC/CHR hit “Brand New.” “Brand New” not only received significant airplay across the nation, but became James’ first K-LOVE Radio Network-premiered concept video. James has also notched a Billboard No. 1 song as a contributing writer on Courtnie Ramirez’s track, “Who We Are, ” and co-wrote his own Top 5 hit “Born Ready.”

In addition to the singles, James has released two acclaimed, self-produced EPs, Mixtape, Side A, which unveiled a set of pop jams, and Mixtape, Side B that shines a spotlight on his acoustic sensibilities rooted in his masterful guitar skills and penchant for storytelling.

Download Mp3 : Fake Love – Elevation Rhythm

ELEVATION RHYTHM announces the full-length debut album, Growing Pains, which will be released on April 1st. Today they released the first single, “Fake Love,” along with the live video premiering at 12 PM Eastern. The new track, sung by Nate Diaz and Brittany Diaz, is an attitude-laden declaration filled with a heavy blend of modern 808s and retro punk rock.

“The world is constantly trying to teach us what love is — you get love from a bunch of likes on social media, from the way you dress, or the things you say,” Davide Mutendji of ELEVATION RHYTHM continues. “And our message is, let’s go back to the essence of what real love is. We have a God who loves you regardless of what you do, where you go, or who you end up becoming. He loves you for the essence of who you are.”

The twelve-track project is undoubtedly eclectic from a musical perspective creating a bigger story of the entire collection. With youth and young adults at the forefront of their mission, ELEVATION RHYTHM’s sonic backdrop intentionally aims to keep up with the changing times, which is why the group experiments with a variety of bold sounds and textures, constantly blurring genre lines. Incorporating elements of pop, rock, worship, and hip-hop, the collective’s first LP is buoyed by the youthful energy found in its diversity.

“I think, sonically, RHYTHM is always going to be different,” contends Josh Holiday, who produced Growing Pains alongside Elevation Church pastor and executive producer Steven Furtick. “Two years from now, RHYTHM won’t sound like it sounds now because the sounds of the next generation are always evolving.” Davide adds, “We try to mold the cultural relevancy with Christ-like revelation.”

Beginning April 26, ELEVATION RHYTHMS will join Elevation Worship along with Pastor Steven Furtick on the road with their spring arena tour Elevation Nights, bringing the experience of Elevation Church to cities around the U.S. The tour begins in Chicago and will wrap in Boston on May 5. Tickets are on sale now and for more information visit ElevationNights.com

[Album] Better View, Part II – Switch

Better View, Part II from Switch is out now (courtesy of Sony Music/Provident’s Essential Worship). Leading up to its anticipated release, the group dropped singles “Covered” and “Letting Go” earlier this year accompanied by lyric videos.

“This project is special to me because, during the times when I felt the most doubt or had the biggest questions, I felt too ashamed to ask them,” said Luke Guevara from Switch. “My prayer is that these songs create a space for wrestling with doubt, acknowledging uncertainty, and embracing the journey of faith.”

Part II of the Better View project follows the fall 2021 release of Better View, Part I. This project brings a Top 40 sound with a 90’s influence, bridging the gap between pop music and Christian lyrics. As with Better View, Part I, the release and theme of Part II come from the group’s hope that as people listen to the songs, they will gain a better view of God and how much He loves them.

“We are passionate about creating songs that combine a modern sound with the truth of the Gospel, and we wrote this album for anyone who is struggling with questions about their faith, especially students and young adults,” shares Switch’s Cassidy Estevez. “This is the first generation that’s growing up with so much exposure to unfiltered hardships across the world and social media comparison as a part of everyday life. We wrote these songs to help them navigate these difficulties with a faith perspective.”

Jacob Shane & Company Introduces Their Energetic Contemporary Christian Sound With Debut Single

Up and coming contemporary Christian band Jacob Shane & Company is introducing their passion for Kingdom-focused music to the world with their debut single “Grace,” available everywhere March 11, 2022.

The Dayton, Ohio-based group is spearheaded by Jacob Shane, a longtime singer, songwriter and guitarist with a heart for worship-centered rock. Jacob Shane & Company is the culmination of years of passion for creating music that leads listeners closer to Christ. “Grace” is a prime example of that passion, an up-tempo, worshipful rock track with heartfelt vocals and energetic guitar grooves. The lyrics voice the cry of the biblical patriarch Jacob, who wrestled with an angel of the Lord until God blessed him.

“Let Your grace fall on me / I want to be free / Let Your grace fall on me / And I won’t stop / Until Your blessing I receive.”

“I have been writing songs since I was about 14 years old and I feel that God has given me the talent to lead people to Him and His Kingdom,” Jacob explains. “My mission and calling is to bring as many people to Christ as I can through the gifts that He has given me.”

That mission is personal for Jacob, who has experienced the healing grace of God firsthand. His passion for music began at 13. Throughout his teenage years, he found his music getting twisted by the party culture he got drawn into. After finding his best friend dead from an overdose, Jacob was faced with the urgent reality of his need to change. God redeemed and restored Jacob’s life, and he’s committed to helping others experience the same.

“One day while riding with my dad, he told me about King David and how he would sing to the Lord,” Jacob recalls. “That influenced me to throw out my songbook and start over fresh.”

“Grace” is the perfect track to herald that new beginning. You can find “Grace” on major streaming platforms now.
