Rend Collective Shares “The Prayer Of St. Patrick”

Rend Collective shares their version of “The Prayer Of St. Patrick.” You can catch Rend Collective live in concert on their FOLK! 2025 Tour which kicks off March 6.

St Patrick isn’t a gimmick to us, but a serious figure in the story of Christianity in the western world. We felt the weight of the task of reimagining one of his most famous hymns, St Patrick’s Breastplate, so heavily that we’ve actually written the song several times and shied away from releasing it at the last minute.

Finally in collaboration with Matt Maher, we found a version that we feel honors his legacy. This ancient prayer of protection still feels profoundly relevant today and we hope we bring the essence of the real St Patrick to a modern audience with this release. -Rend Collective

Bethel Music’s Noah Paul Harrison Releases “Elohim (Live)”

Bethel Music’s newest member, Noah Paul Harrison, debuts his first single as part of the collective, “Elohim (Live),” available today along with a powerful music video. Now streaming on all platforms, this anthem magnifies the infinite character of God, reminding listeners that there is nothing our God can’t do.

Elohim (Live)” invites listeners into a powerful worship experience, underscoring the vastness of God’s power and His undeniable presence. Inspired by Psalms 147:5 – “Great is our Lord and mighty in power; His understanding has no limit” – “Elohim (Live)” is a stirring declaration of God’s greatness, goodness, and boundless kindness.

The live recording captures the energy and depth of a worship experience that draws listeners into a deeper understanding of God’s power and provision.

Elohim

“I am so excited to share the song ‘Elohim,’” says Harrison. “A few years ago, my good friend Gable Price and I had an impromptu writing session, and he shared his idea for this song. We worked on it for a couple of hours. I remember feeling the power behind the song in that moment, but I didn’t fully grasp the full gravity of it until a couple of years later when I led it on a Sunday at church. This song reminds me of the vastness of God and the power of his kingdom!”

Harrison’s music is a direct reflection of his own journey and passion for worship. Born and raised in Rochester Hills, Mich., he moved to Manhattan with his wife, Carling, in 2023, where he now leads worship for Bethel New York. His musical journey began at an early age, with his father’s guitar playing shaping his early love for worship.

His ministry path has taken him from leading in his home church at age 12, to serving as a worship leader at Bethel Church in Redding, Calif., and finally to his new home in New York City, where he joined the Bethel Music collective in 2024.

Nate Parrish Announces “Small” Releasing March 15

Underground punk rock mastermind Nate Parrish will be releasing a new ballad, “Small,” streaming everywhere and going for radio adds March 15.

“I often find myself overwhelmed, being bombarded with headlines and soundbites and a steady diet of bad news,” the songwriter and multi-instrumentalist says, unpacking the song’s meaning. “As my head fills with information, I start to feel the weight of all the things that I can’t change.

Hopelessness creeps in. I wrote this song as a prayer, a plea to God to help me calm my mind and re-focus on what matters most in my life. To let me see a mountain, to make me feel small again.”

This prayer came from a genuine and raw place in the musician’s spirit, serving as one of those creative moments only explained through divine inspiration.

He adds, “I honestly don’t know where this song came from. I remember sitting in my room looking out the window at my son playing in the dirt, and the song just came to me. I wrote and recorded it that same afternoon.”

The message is accompanied by stirring instrumentation that reigns in some of the usual in-your-face punchiness of Parrish’s punk sound, offering an arrangement that immediately pulls on the heartstrings. “Small” further proves Nate Parrish’s versatility as a musician, showcasing the ways his music will continue evolving throughout 2025.

“The instrumentation on this song and all the new songs you will hear is really just about not trying to stay contained in any punk parameters. If I want to write a ballad, I’ll write a ballad,” the rocker freely explains.

The release of “Small” will be followed by a music video with wistful imagery fleshing out the emotions the song evokes. Parrish promises that this is the first of several songs to come in 2025. You can keep up with him at https://linktr.ee/NateParrish.

As an experienced guitarist with a history of playing for rock worship bands Worth Dying For and Kutless, Nate has continually offered a unique blend of musical exploration and thoughtful, spiritually sensitive lyrics that prod at our culture in the interest of drawing us a little closer to Christ.
