Speaking about the inspiration behind his new single, the Lagos state based singer said; “At the beginning of the year 2023, my church, The Elevation Church, was engaged in the yearly start of the year prayers. I had just released a song in December 2022 so I was honestly not looking out for any immediate inspiration at the time. I however couldn’t attend the prayers that day so I joined online via YouTube on an early Wednesday morning.
During one of the sessions, one of the prayer leaders started to talk about the biblical reference of Goshen and how God prospered the children of Israel and grew their number there. I didn’t even ask for it, but suddenly the time and words of this song hit me so strongly. I began to declare and write and sooner than later most of the song had been written. I was subsequently instructed to get on board Philipage’s grace on this song, and here we are”.
“Goshen” is a declaration of God’s available blessings towards us, and a song that drives home the consciousness of being in abundance despite the odds and the seemingly apparent difficulties that life throws at us from time to time.

“Siayen No” which directly translates “Remove,” from the Urhobo language, is a song of prayer for help. It appeals to the emotions and many who are going through vicissitudes can find solace and comfort in the lyrics as they prayerfully denounce the unpleasant realities.

Nigerian gospel music singer, worship leader, songwriter, and Qavah prayer meeting convener, Abbey Ojomu drops a brand new single titled, “Sound Of The King.”
Speaking on the song, Abbey says; “Sound represents a lot of things: in the birthing of a child you hear their cry, at death, the one who dies stops making a sound and you begin to hear the cry of mourning; to precede a war you hear the sound of the trumpet (Jeremiah 50:22) You hear the sound of chariots DESTRUCTION Ezekiel 10:5).”
