“Not Giving Up” is also a reflection of The Kingdom Choir’s own journey. Karen Gibson had led the choir for over two decades before their breakthrough moment in the spotlight, during which time the group – spread across London and from various Christian traditions – became renowned for their shared talents, collective spirit, and instantly uplifting performances.

Chart-topping R&B Artist Jen Ash Releases New Music Video and Single

The Pro Basketball Player-turned-R&B singer-songwriter has released the Official Music Video for “I’m Dreaming of You” and the brand-new single, “Trouble.”

Jen Ash is a prolific musical artist known for creating soulful music by combining R&B with pop and adding some of her own signature touches. Her celebrated catalog is fast approaching 200K Spotify streams.

With her last single, “No Lover Lover” reaching the UK iTunes Top 5, Ms. Ash is now releasing a brand-new track, “Trouble,” as well as the Official Music Video for her song, “I’m Dreaming of You.”

Hitting retail on February 2nd, “Trouble” is a tribute to the late Amy Winehouse. Ms. Ash said, “I wanted to give a little Amy Winehouse vibe on this one. I’m a big fan of her music.

She created an entire universe for herself. She is definitely gone too soon.  The song is so jazzy and bluesy. it takes me back in time. The saxophone adds another dimension to the song, where I feel like I’m immersed in a 50/60’s black and white movie.”

“Trouble” – Jen Ash

I wrote “I’m Dreaming Of You” in October 2020, in the middle of the pandemic, when solitude hits and all you have is time to think,” Jen said. “After a lot of failures in the ‘love department,’ I often wonder if I will find someone who will love me. I get very emotional every time I talk about it. I imagine The love of my life, my soulmate, my one and only. They say love is fated, and I believe it. I believe someone is right for me, and I can’t wait for my wish to be granted!”

“I’m Dreaming Of You” was produced by Eddie Reid Films.

Jen Ash is a soulful pop/r&b artist, born in Lebanon and raised in France. After ending her professional basketball career, she decided to follow her true path, moving to Los Angeles to pursue her music career. She has been performing since 2018 in the City of Angels.

Her influences come from the 90’s, with her goal being to create music that connects with and inspires listeners. She has learned to explore music on her own… what an amazing and tumultuous road it has been. Her songwriting channels into past and present experiences and future desires, with a splash of imagination. With the ability to create in French and English her sultry vocals will take you on a memorable journey.

“I am excited for this new chapter for Faith Artist Agency!” agency founder Brandy Wahlman shares. “For years we have been able to partner with some of the most talented, ministry-focused artists in the music industry. Syntax Creative Reaches Platinum Status as Spotify Preferred Provider

It’s official. Syntax Creative has earned the highest honor Spotify awards for digital distributors — Platinum status for its preferred provider program.

“Preferred providers meet our highest standards for providing quality metadata and protecting against infringement,” says Jennifer Masset, Spotify Global Head of Indies.

“We couldn’t have done this without Brandon Musser, our VP of Operations,” Syntax Creative CEO Timothy Trudeau says. “He’s been a part of Syntax since the beginning when we had to manually encode everything and deliver it with an FTP client. He was creating standards before any existed.”

Syntax’s journey with Spotify began in 2011, the same year Spotify launched in the U.S.

Syntax was one of, if not the first North American content provider to do a direct deal with the up-and-coming streaming giant.

“Twenty-five years later, we’re still independent,” Trudeau says. “We’ve long embraced mixing our old school sensibilities with new technology. For our clients, being direct with Spotify means better access and less hands in the pot—and while everyone else is focused on scaling, we’re still hand-picking the clients we work with.”

“I’m honored to play a part in this meaningful milestone,” Musser says. “Spotify is one of the top digital service providers that we send our clients’ music to, so it means a lot for Spotify to affirm that we’re doing something right.”

Syntax Creative is one of the top independent digital distributors, design firms, and marketing agencies, representing more than 150 record labels. Their impressive list of clientele includes Crossroads Label Group, Cross Movement Records, CLG Music & Media, Elevation Church, Pinecastle Recording Company, Illect Recordings, Central South Distribution, Mountain Fever Music Group, Woodlands Church, and Rapzilla among others. “I’m very blessed to have been surrounded and supported by great people throughout my career, and I couldn’t have hoped for a better team around me for this new season,” says Steven Curtis Chapman, a five-time GRAMMY Award winner and recipient of the BMI Icon Award.

one:eight entertainment is helmed by industry veteran Greg Ham. Smith, CeCe Winans, and Olympian Scott Hamilton, among others. Ham and his team at one:eight entertainment will continue to represent these clients along withaward-winning producer/director Robert Deaton and artist/worship leader Charity Gayle.

“We are thrilled that Steven has entrusted this season to one:eight for his management,” Greg Ham shares. “It’s been a privilege to call him a friend for many years and we are excited to see what this collaboration will produce.”

The news comes on the heels of Chapman’s latest project, Still, out now courtesy of Provident Entertainment/Sony Music. With his new songs, Chapman openly shares a willingness to shine a light on his pain and struggles, as well as his faith, joy, redemption, and hope. He says, “After a lot of wrestling, I finally had to just block out the questions about what felt or sounded relevant, or how is new music from me going to fit in the current landscape of Christian music. I had to silence those voices in my head, sit down with my guitar, and sort of give myself permission to just write whatever was stirring in me, let it come out however it came out.”

The album’s first radio single, “Don’t Lose Heart,” was inspired by Chapman’s own journey through the shadowed valley of grief and loss that he and his family have traveled. Its hopeful yet unmasked honesty and truth have quickly connected with listeners and have taken the song up the radio charts, which is currently at No. 9 on Billboard‘s Christian Airplay chart.

Eager to share the new songs live, Chapman is hitting the road this spring on his 24-city “Still Tour.” Kicking off March 2 in Springfield, Missouri, be sure to check out the most updated tour schedule  HERE.
