[Music] Famous – G.L.O
Following nine consecutive No. 1 debut singles, G.L.O is set to send “Famous” to Christian radio today. The latest music from the rapper/singer-songwriter, whose stage name stands for God’s Love Only, will go for adds to Christian Hot AC/CHR and Rhythmic-formatted radio outlets.
“My new single delivers a vivid lyrical description of what we see going on today in the Church scene and in the world,” G.L.O shares.
Based on Mark 8:36-37, the lyrics ask ‘What will a man give in exchange for his soul?”
“’Famous’ is a reminder,” G.L.O says, “that Jesus Christ is the name above all names and as followers of Christ we are to spread His fame to this lost and dying world.”
The song, featuring hard-hitting synths, drums and chimes to produce a fairytale-like sound, is written by Kim Denise Ruiz and produced by Alex Rene Espinoza. A video for “Famous” is available on YouTube. The single has been released for streaming across all streaming outlets.
“Famous” is the 10th single for G.L.O, a release that follows nine singles debuting at No. 1 on ChristianRadioChart Weekly.
Music has been important to G.L.O since she was young. When she received Jesus Christ as her Savior in 1998, she asked God to reveal her purpose. As she began writing songs, the songwriter noticed that none of her songs glorified God.

“That all changed one fateful day,” G.L.O says, “when God had a Word for me in Bible Study: ‘You can’t have one foot in the world and one foot out.’ After receiving that message, it was the breakthrough I needed. I haven’t looked back.”
With a ministry that knows no boundaries and one that reaches the young and the old, G.L.O’s prayer is that her music can break down the misconception that rap is only of the world.
G.L.O has appeared on local TBN networks as well as UK London International TBN. She has performed onstage at the Gospel Superfest where she shared the platform with artists such as Deitrick Haddon, Lecrae, Dorinda Clark-Cole, and others. She has enjoyed radio airplay from U.S. and international radio outlets.
