Michael W. Smith “Your Love Is A Flood” Music Video
Multi-platinum, GRAMMY Award-winning artist Michael W. Smith debuts the official music video for his powerful new single, “Your Love Is a Flood.” The track is the second release from his highly anticipated upcoming studio project and follows the critical acclaim of “Arms Around The Sun.”
Co-written by Smith and Jason Walker, “Your Love is a Flood” is reminiscent of the sound of his most beloved albums while pushing boldly into the sonic landscape of today. It welcomes every generation into the journey while drawing from his deep foundation of faith and worship. This music is what has always set Michael W. Smith apart.
“This is a song I’ve been working on for a long time,” shares Michael W. Smith. “It’s one that’s stayed with me—because the message is so powerful. The love of God isn’t a trickle, it rushes in, overtakes us, and changes everything. I wanted the music to reflect that. I believe this song carries healing, hope, and deep encouragement for anyone who hears it.”

The lyrics themselves offer a poetic invitation into that divine overflow:
“Your love is a flood / And I’m dancing in the rain… / Heaven and earth colliding / Open the clouds, I feel it rising up.”
Produced by Smith, Tedd T, Bryan Todd, & Walker, “Your Love Is a Flood” builds on the rich themes introduced in “Arms Around The Sun,” which explore the overwhelming love of God and the mystery of His greatness. That song featured actor and musician Jonathan Roumie (The Chosen, Jesus Revolution) on drums, along with an acclaimed music video filmed at Vū Nashville.
As the full project continues to unfold, these singles mark a deeply personal excitement for Smith to the roots of his faith and artistry—filled with reverence, honesty, and passion.
This fall Michael W. Smith will embark on the fall leg of the Beyond the Far Horizon Tour, bringing new songs and timeless favorites to audiences around the world. Quickly following that, he will start on his beloved Christmas tour, this year joined by legends Amy Grant and CeCe Winans.
