Hopeful. Reminds Listeners That There’s Hope Beyond Belief With Their New EP ‘Wild One’

Hopeful. is back with their latest project, the Wild One EP. Fresh off the heels of their latest single, “Sticks & Stones,” the new EP reminds listeners that the light shines brighter than the dark—and nothing can keep one of God’s beloved “wild ones” down.

Comprised of Randy James on lead vocals and acoustic guitar, Hunter Jackson on lead guitar, Rafael Bastos on rhythm guitar, Eddie Bulena on bass, and James Barragan on drums, the EP was produced by Gable Price of Gable Price and Friends, mixed by Sawyer Knox, mastered by Luke Pimentel, and cover art by Dan Elliot. The Wild One EP came out of a time when Hopeful. seemed to be at a fork in the road. They weren’t sure if the band would continue.

“I thought maybe our time had come and gone, but God had other plans,” Randy said. “Hunter called me and said he was ready to go all in. He said that it was time for us to jump in with two feet and create something special. The rest of the band followed suit and that was the beginning of our next project, the Wild One EP.”

The Wild One EP is comprised of six songs, “Sticks & Stones (Don’t Lose Your Head),” “It’ll All Be Fine,” “Wild One,” “Chasing After God,” “Words Don’t Pay,” and “Fractured Soul.” All of these songs were previously released as singles, except “It’ll All Be Fine,” a song that hits close to home for Randy.

The song touches on the realities of generational curses, or “generational patterns” as Randy describes it. “It’ll All Be Fine” offers hope that with God’s help, these curses/patterns can be broken and new patterns can be established, while also offering peace in God’s unconditional love.

“This song says, ‘Feels like I’m stuck in a night terror, but you whisper it’ll all be fine,’” Randy said. “This is using a direct reference from life—my 10-year-old sometimes struggles with night terrors, and the only way I can snap him out of them is by loving him through it, whispering, ’It’ll all be fine, buddy. God’s got you,’ and getting him to fall back to sleep. I hope people can see that God’s love is the Father’s love and that if I (merely a man) can love my son like I do, imagine how much deeper God’s love is for us.”

This theme of the Father’s love is one that Randy hopes resounds throughout the entire EP.

“I hope this EP reminds listeners that no matter where you’ve been or what you’ve done, we have a good father and there’s more hope than we could ever imagine. So don’t you dare think of giving up for being too far gone. You can’t keep a wild one down.”

Hopeful. has seen success with their song “Wild One” being featured on Apple Music’s globally ranked “Today’s Christian” playlist, as well as entering the top 200 streamed songs for the entire Christian genre on Apple Music. Collectively on all platforms, “Wild One” has been streamed nearly one million times and continues to be added to radio stations across the country.

Hopeful. will be performing at Alive Music Festival in Mineral City, Ohio, on July 18, Oceanside, California, on July 26, and Nashville, Tennessee on August 26 at The End. The band recently signed to Jeff Roberts Agency who will be working with the band to plan out other shows and touring opportunities.

Hopeful. plans to release a full-length album later this year, as well as more singles this summer. They have also released new merchandise in honor of the new EP.

Trent Harmon Finds Purpose On New EP ‘SCARS & SINS’

Trent Harmon finds purpose with his first official foray into Christian music with new EP SCARS & SINS – out today across all digital and streaming platforms. The American Idol winner found mainstream success in the country spotlight with a record deal, major tours with Rascal Flatts and Dan + Shay, and his first hit single, “There’s A Girl.”

Despite the commercial milestones, Harmon often found himself pulled back to the church roots that first gave his voice meaning. The new six song EP includes sentimental, feel good tunes like “Make Her Laugh,” as well as more worship driven songs like “You’ll See My Face.” It’s a welcome shift, and one that has led to peace and a new sense of creative drive for Harmon.

“I think life is about finding your calling and purpose,” shares Harmon. “For me music has always played such an intricate part of who I am. But something was always missing. It is my faith in God that has led me to this place in my musical journey.

Through this “Scars & Sins” project I have been able to realize what’s truly important to me in my music. Building the Kingdom, spreading God’s love, and helping to save the lost is what this project is all about. I couldn’t be more excited to share it with you all now”.

SCARS & SINS Tracklisting:

1. “Scars & Sins” (Jimmy Robbins, Mozella, Trent Harmon)

2. “Beautiful Lord” (Leeland Mooring, Marc Byrd)

3. “Jealous of Angels” (Bob DiPiero, Rob Hatch, RaeLynn)

4. “Forever Home” (Ian Christian, Cassidy Lynn, Trent Harmon)

5. “You’ll See My Face” (Mark Masri, Stephan Moccio)

6. “Make Her Laugh” (Jimmy Robbins, Laura Veltz, Josh Thompson, Trent Harmon)

Earlier this month, the singer-songwriter hinted at this shift with a poignant social media post of a video he filmed after a “particularly great” show in 2018 that still left him feeling unfulfilled and with the overwhelming urge “to point a light towards heaven.” Life slowed down and priorities shifted after Harmon got married in 2020 and welcomed his first child in 2023.

Through it all, worship kept calling him back, and Harmon couldn’t shake the feeling that he was meant for something more. “I’ve reached thousands through Idol and touring, but every time I led worship, I felt fulfillment I never found on a country stage.”

Tenth Avenue North Returns With Tenth Studio Album ‘Learning To Trust’

Tenth Avenue North releases its tenth full-length album, Learning To Trust, an intensely personal album filled with real struggles and years of growth in song. The band features frontman and co-founder Mike Donehey with three new members, but with the same passion and mission. Listen to Learning to Trust.

“Tenth Avenue North’s tenth full-length album is here,” shares Mike Donehey of Tenth Avenue North. “It feels impossible. At the very least, it is improbable.

That’s probably why it’s called Learning to Trust. I always thought trust was something we would learn once and instantly master. As life goes on, I find that it’s more like going back to kindergarten every day. Trust is a daily lesson, and it takes a lifetime to master.”

The 14-track album features guest artists Rend Collective, Leanna Crawford, Land of Color, and Natalie Layne. The group has just finished its “The Invited Tour” featuring Natalie Layne, which included 50 dates and concluded in Nashville at the famed Exit/In. Tenth Avenue North has a full schedule of dates this summer and fall, including shows at the end of the year in Europe.

Donehey shares, “The very existence of this band reminds me that when we give ourselves over to trusting God’s merciful providence, with hearts full of faith and hands empty to receive whatever comes, this is exactly where joy is waiting. Though I’m still learning to trust all these years later, I’m so grateful to be given the opportunity.”

Newsboys ‘Worldwide Revival (Deluxe)’ Out Now

World renowned Christian band Newsboys have released their Worldwide Revival (Deluxe) album today, May 30, 2025, marking an exciting new chapter with Adam Agee stepping in as lead vocalist.

The expanded release features four brand-new tracks, including the original songs “Fortress” and “New Name,” as well as powerful renditions of worship favorites “Death Was Arrested” (North Point Worship) and “God of Promises” (Damascus Worship).

Fans will also enjoy refreshed versions of “Christ and Christ Crucified” and “How Many Times (oh how You love me),” which was released to DSPs in March, and is currently in the Top 20 at Christian radio. With this release, Newsboys continue to amplify scripture through music, staying true to their message while boldly evolving their sound.

“When we started down this road of the Worldwide Revival album, we intended to release the project over time in two parts. After the release of Part One last summer, we continued to write and record songs for the remainder of the project, but God had other plans for us.

As we have navigated this new season, we ultimately felt called to close out this chapter of music with a deluxe version of Worldwide Revival that includes both the original songs from Part One but also some new songs that give listeners a glimpse into the future of Newsboys,” says lead singer Adam Agee.

The focus track, “Fortress,” was inspired by a Bible read-through of Psalm 91 Agee was participating in at church. In an interview with The Christian Post, Agee shared a personal reflection on the verse that anchored the song’s message, “I really love the line, ‘I will abide in the shadow of the Almighty.’ That’s where I want to be… under his shelter. Whatever season I’m in, I know that he has me right where he wants me.”

In addition to capturing the emotional depth of the Psalms, “Fortress” embodies the central theme of the album and mirrors the personal, and collective, journey that Agee, Frankenstein, Phillips, and Davis experienced during a season of transition as a band.

“We’re excited to move into what’s next for our band, with just the four of us. We’ve got the live show dialed in, but it’s time to finish up Worldwide Revival, and so completing the project with this deluxe version feels like a nice way to close that chapter,” Duncan Phillips shares.

The release of Worldwide Revival (Deluxe) builds on the momentum of the original album’s lead single, “Heaven on Earth,” which debuted on March 15, 2024. Worldwide Revival has amassed more than 36 million streams and broken into Billboard’s Top 40 charts for both Adult Contemporary and Christian Airplay.

The album has made a significant cultural impact across digital platforms, with over 11 million video views and 49,000 short-form video creations using the album’s audio. In addition to their musical achievements, Newsboys have continued to engage in meaningful conversations around faith, purpose, and culture with appearances on top podcasts including Unlocked With Savannah Chrisley, The Sean McDowell Show, and That Sounds Fun With Annie F. Downs.

With Worldwide Revival (Deluxe), Newsboys reaffirm their mission to create music that inspires, uplifts, and directs hearts toward Jesus. That same message will carry onstage as the Worldwide Revival Nights Tour heads west to Scottsdale, Arizona on June 22.

Elevation Rhythm’s ‘Victory Lap’ Album Out Now

ELEVATION RHYTHM‘s newest project, Victory Lap, is now available. It features 10 tracks, including the hit songs “Goodbye Yesterday” and “At The Altar.” Victory Lap provides listeners with a roadmap for the Christian life after they make the transformative decision to follow Jesus, with every song carrying an element of triumph.

For this project, ELEVATION RHYTHM’s lead songwriter and producer, Josh Holiday, created an environment with a makeshift studio in a nondescript room for the recording. No audience was present, and no prior rehearsals, the group set out to capture an album that was literally in the moment. Live and raw, many of the mastered songs were performed for the first time and recorded in one take.

Victory Lap also boasts guest vocals from frequent ELEVATION RHYTHM collaborator Joe L Barnes, as well as Gracie Binion, Elevation Worship’s Tiffany Hudson, newcomers Zach Webb and Charles Weems, as well as GRAMMY nominee Blessing Offor.
