“You Know My Name” offers another glimpse into a project built around leaving room for the unexpected. Recorded live in Atlanta earlier this year, the 34-track TASHA UNSCRIPTED brings Cobbs Leonard back to the environment where so much of her defining work has been created: a room full of people, songs allowed to stretch beyond their original form, and moments that could never be recreated exactly the same way twice.
The album reunites Cobbs Leonard with songs that have become cornerstones of contemporary worship while introducing new music and fresh collaborations. The album arrives during a milestone season for Cobbs Leonard. Last weekend, she received the prestigious Aretha Franklin Icon Award during the 41st Stellar Gospel Music Awards broadcast on BET, recognizing her career and lasting impact on gospel music. The televised celebration included a career-spanning video package and a tribute medley comprised entirely of songs from her catalog, with Melvin Crispell III performing “For Your Glory,” Maranda Curtis performing “Fill Me Up,” Bishop William Murphy taking on “Break Every Chain,” and Kierra Sheard delivering “Put A Praise On It.” The four artists then came together for a praise break before Cobbs Leonard delivered an emotional acceptance speech.
One week after today’s release, Cobbs Leonard will take the spirit of TASHA UNSCRIPTED directly to audiences with the TASHA UNSCRIPTED NIGHTS TOUR, beginning September 11 in Charlotte, NC, with a sold-out opening night. During the past five decades Vince Gill has accrued a career as one of music’s most successful singers, songwriters, musicians and performers, primarily on his own, but also as an integral component to such bands as Pure Prairie League, the Notorious Cherry Bombs, The Time Jumpers and for the last decade, the Eagles.

Wide-ranging master instrumentalist, singer, songwriter and producer that he is, Gill never gets too far from country, of course. Since his first solo release in 1984, he has won 22 Grammy Awards, more than any other male country artist, and put over 45 singles on the Billboard country music charts, including seven No. 1 hits of his own and in collaboration with others.
Then, there’s the songwriting, the craft Gill holds in highest regard.
Gill has built one of the most respected songwriting catalogs in American music history, earning the sincere admiration of fellow writers, artists, industry leaders, and audiences alike. As an icon in his field, his body of work includes enduring country classics such as “When I Call Your Name,” “Look at Us,” “I Still Believe in You,” “One More Last Chance,” “Don’t Let Our Love Start Slippin’ Away,” “Tryin’ to Get Over You,” “Whenever You Come Around,” and “Go Rest High on That Mountain,” which this year was selected for preservation in the National Recording Registry of the Library of Congress. These songs have defined modern country music.
And it is the songs that are the solid foundation for 50 Years From Home- Gill’s monumental endeavor to release monthly EPs featuring six to seven previously unreleased tracks.
Celebrating the gold anniversary of leaving his native Oklahoma to start his music career, Gill created 50 Years From Home to release an abundance of material he had amassed during a prolific period spanning the last four-plus years. There are, without exaggerating, scores of tunes from that time, many in collaboration with others, and since October 2025 Gill has been releasing a half-dozen at a time, arranging them based on theme. “It’s just about what feels right and sounds like they belong together.”
“As I move through the process of recording this EP series, I think more than anything I’m most grateful the songs all held up,” Gill says. “As we’ve recorded, each musician at some point came by and said, ‘Hey, man, I can’t believe how the songs are all poignant and important. There’s not a real drag of a song in all of this material.’
“That makes me feel good, y’know? It probably goes back to how long I’ve been doing this. You don’t waste time finishing something you don’t think is very good, and I understand that more quickly and better the more I do it. That the songs are holding up through all this is really special to me.”
The cover for each volume of 50 Years From Home celebrates a special guitar from Gill’s enormous collection of instruments. For Stillwater Night it’s a vintage Martin OM45, a limited-edition premium – and rare, with less than four dozen made — model that Gill’s wife Amy Grant gave him for his 50th birthday. “This being 50 Years From Home, it just seemed serendipitous, so it had to be one of these covers,” Gill notes.
Gill’s wife, singer-songwriter Amy Grant, co-wrote Stillwater Night’s upbeat opening track “What Love Can Bring,” a reciprocal love song between her and Gill that, appropriately, features backing vocals by their daughter Corrina. “We’ve been married for 26 years and have just written a handful of songs together,” Gill acknowledges. “I love her spirit of lyric writing, of what she chooses to say.
“We’re both used to having our way,” Gill explains with a laugh. “When it’s her career and her music, her records, her show and all that stuff, she’s used to it being the way she wants to do it. Same for me. It’s two people getting together and compromising, trying to discover the right thing to say and the right way to do it — like any songwriters.”
Stillwater Night’s smooth-tempoed title track is a collaboration with up-and-coming Oklahoma artist Wyatt Flores. “He’s from Stillwater, and he came up with that title and showed it to me, and I just loved it,” recalls Gill. One line in there, watching life through a windshield, that’s exactly what we do. For me it’s been my whole life — for Wyatt it’s just getting started.” Rich harmony vocals are provided by The Isaacs’Becky Isaacs, Ben Isaacs and Sonya Isaacs.
The evocative “Room Full Of Memories” put Gill in the writer’s room with Liz Rose and Brothers Osborne’s John Osborne and TJ Osborne. “It reminds me of a Roy Orbison song in the way it’s structured, the high kind of choruses,” says Gill, who’s backed up vocally by longtime friend and former band member Andrea Zonn.
The rolling “You’re The One” was co-written with Catie Offerman and marks Gill’s first released collaboration with fellow Grammy winner Natalie Hemby and includes a backing vocal appearance by Jenny Gill.”It sounds like a pretty record to me,” Gill says. “It all comes naturally, to sing appropriately and play appropriately. That’s what I’m trying to do. I’m not trying to sound like a country singer singing a rock ‘n’ roll song.”
“Take It Slow,” co-written with rising artist Claire Ernst, takes another turn into soulful terrain, with hints of jazz in its instrumental approach. “I guess it’s a bit on the steamy side,” Gill says. “It’s got a cool vibe and reminds me of Norah Jones. This one always stood out to me as one of my favorites of this whole onslaught of recordings. I’ve been eager to see this one show up and see what people think.”
“When You Belong,” melancholy but optimistic, is another collaboration with the Civil Wars’Joy Williams .”I’m all in from the intro of this song,” Gill says. “The expression came through my fingers to play that intro on the guitar. It’s the melody of the song; it’s not me whittling away, trying to impress you with a bunch of guitar player notes. And there’s a pretty chorus — soaring changes, going up high like I like to do. It takes me somewhere when I hear this song.”
As with 50 Years From Home’s other volumes, Stillwater Night reaches back for an older song — in this case “Pretty Little Adriana,” a Grammy Award-winning 1996 single from Gill’s High Lonesome Sound album. “It just fit,” he explains. “Once again, as I listen to the last song played I think, ‘What would follow it really well? ‘When You Belong’ is in the key of C, ‘Adriana’ is in the key of F, and the F note is part of the C chord. Certain songs, if they’re compatible then they’re compatible in their keys as well. It’s a musical thing.”
Like the other nine 50 Years From Home EPs, Stillwater Night was produced and recorded by Gill at his home studio near Nashville, with engineers Justin Niebank and Matt Rausch and a core group of musicians that includes pedal steel icon Paul Franklin, guitarists Jedd Hughes, Tom Bukovac, Jack Schneider, pianists Gordon Mote and John Jarvis, Jim “Moose” Brown on organ, bassist Jimmie Lee Sloas and drummer Fred Eltringham. Gill recently finished a summer tour and will be returning to the Eagles when the group begins its next run of residences at Sphere in Las Vegas mid-September.

Christian hip-hop artist and ordained minister TRU-SERVA has released his new album, 30, a 12-track reflection on three decades of walking with Christ through struggle, victory, transformation and purpose. Released Aug. 30 through Trans4mation Records and distributed by FUGA, the project brings together a season of music and testimony centered on the faithfulness of God.

For TRU-SERVA, born Marcus Montana, the title carries significance far beyond a number. 2026 marks 30 years since he committed his life to Christ, and the album looks back on the journey that followed — from difficult seasons and spiritual battles to healing, obedience, peace and learning to live out the Gospel in front of others.
“30 marks a time in my life of reflection and pressing forward,” TRU-SERVA says. “This year represents 30 years of walking with the Lord, and this project reflects His faithfulness through the ups and downs, the struggles and the victories. My hope is that it brings hope to people and challenges them to see what can happen through a surrendered life.”
Musically, 30 remains rooted in Christian hip-hop while incorporating elements of CHR, worship and contemporary Christian music. Across the album, TRU-SERVA uses personal testimony and Scripture-rooted storytelling to explore what it means to stand on truth, seek God’s presence through difficult circumstances and respond to faith with action.
The message moves throughout the record: God remains faithful in the battle; genuine transformation begins on the inside; faith produces obedience; Christ brings lasting peace; and a transformed life becomes a testimony for others to see.
“We want people to come away from this project knowing there is victory in Jesus and that great is His faithfulness,” TRU-SERVA says. “Some days are going to feel like a battle, but when we allow Him to change us on the inside, that transformation begins to show on the outside. As we’re moved into action, we realize He’s the only One who can bring real peace into our lives.”
That story has unfolded publicly throughout TRU-SERVA’s 2026 release season. “Somethin’ On The Inside” featuring George Enzy spent eight consecutive weeks at No. 1 on the Christian Music Weekly Rhythmic chart, while “Put In Work” featuring Steven Malcolm has continued building support at Christian radio. More recently, TRU-SERVA released “Always Look to God” featuring Mike Teezy, a deeply personal song centered on trusting God through circumstances beyond one’s control.
Those songs now take their place within the larger narrative of 30 alongside previously released and new material, giving listeners a more complete picture of the testimony TRU-SERVA has been building toward throughout the year.
The album opens with “Great Is Thy Faithfulness” featuring Dawna Johnson before moving into the autobiographical “30 for 30” featuring Mike Dreams. “Battleground” featuring Presence Music confronts spiritual warfare, while “Somethin’ On The Inside” explores the internal transformation that ultimately becomes visible in a believer’s life. “Put In Work” calls listeners toward active obedience, and “Prince of Peace” featuring Trialz and Juanialys points toward Christ as the source of peace.
Later tracks including “Always Look to God,” “Don’t Knock It,” “Look To Heaven,” “Testify” and “Watch How I Step” continue the album’s themes of trust, testimony and living faith publicly. The closing track, “How Sweet It Is” featuring Nathan Rocky of Living Worship, represents what TRU-SERVA describes as the heart of the project — celebrating the joy and fulfillment found in following Jesus.
The collaborative scope of 30 also reflects the relationships that have been part of TRU-SERVA’s musical journey. The album features Dawna Johnson, Mike Dreams, Presence Music, George Enzy, Steven Malcolm, Trialz, Juanialys, Mike Teezy, One Step Moore, De La Cruz, Xay Hill, T.Log, Fresh IE, Mission and Nathan Rocky of Living Worship.
TRU-SERVA and Maverick Montana serve as executive producers of the project, with production contributions from Brandon Williams, George Ensminger and Casey Golden. Golden also handled recording, mixing and mastering. Jamie Nicholas created the album artwork, with photography by Aaron Walk.

DOE has unveiled her highly anticipated third studio album, Shiloh. The album’s title is inspired by the meaning of her son’s name, Shiloh, which means “peace,” while also pointing to “the One to whom it belongs,” the new release is rooted in the promise of God’s presence and Psalm 22:27. The 12-track project is a worship experience that explores legacy, family, faith, and the goodness of God passed from one generation to the next.

“Psalm 22 really became the foundation for this project, especially the word ‘posterity,'” explains the eight-time GRAMMY® Award nominee. “We were someone’s posterity at some point. Someone had to make sure we knew who the Lord was and that we could call on His name, and now it’s our job to pass that on to the next generation. I started asking myself, ‘What does posterity sound like in a room?’ For me, it sounds like my childhood, like generations of people coming together, remembering what they’ve been given and making sure it continues.”
The theme of generational faith is reflected throughout Shiloh, with members of DOE’s family contributing background vocals throughout the project, while “Mighty Long Way” features a deeply personal duet between DOE and her mother, Pastor Kim Jones. Collectively, they capture the experience of faith being received, lived, and carried forward within a family.
Additionally, her connection to childhood shaped how Shiloh was created. While the album was recorded in a studio, many of its sonic elements were captured in a live worship environment designed to recreate the sensory experience of DOE’s upbringing, from worshipping among the pews to the distinct aroma of church carpet to the emotional familiarity of growing up in church. Sonically, the album moves fluidly between gospel, contemporary Christian music, worship, and R&B, while cropped choir robes and live-recording visuals further bring that world to life.
“I grew up hearing so many different expressions of worship, from the Clark Sisters and Israel Houghton to Andraé Crouch, Ron Kenoly, Darlene Zschech, Hillsong and Planetshakers,”shares the soon-to-be mother of two.”All of those sounds are in me. I think that’s what a genre really is: a sonic, musical language. With Shiloh, I wanted all of those languages to have a place in the room, so people can hear something they recognize and think, ‘Oh, I speak that language. That’s my language.'”

This type of authentic surrender is especially felt in the project’s final benediction, “Hold On To Jesus.” Band Reeves co-penned the poignant album closer with David Leonard and Molly Kate Kestner shortly after beginning their partnership with Centricity, while holding an equal measure of excitement and uncertainty. Since then, they have discovered that faith is built one ‘yes’ at a time.
“We’re not called to figure tomorrow out,” Jeramy asserts. “We’re called to say ‘yes’ today, and that’s what a life of following Jesus looks like.”

Along with “Hold Onto Jesus,” How To Forgive shares a dozen handcrafted songs about real, everyday life. “Love You To Death” emphasizes the way Jesus showed ultimate forgiveness on a cross while “Devil Drive,” which Jeramy and Cody co-wrote with Walker Hayes and Kyle Williams, was inspired by a friend sentenced to prison, whose story displays the hope of unconditional mercy.
The album’s “Big Shoes” is a sentimental ode to the Reeves patriarch, a lifelong bivocational minister. “He’s the man I want to be,” Cody says. “My dad modeled what it looked like to be a godly husband and a godly father, how to take care of your wife and provide for your family. He also really instilled the value of hard work in us.”
“That Old Man” plays like a prequel to “Big Shoes,” reflecting on a lineage tainted by addiction and wanting nothing to do with Jesus until one man, the brothers’ grandfather, made a decision to genuinely follow the Lord. “We want people to know that no matter where you come from or what your family line looks like, a son doesn’t have to be like his father,” Jeramy offers. “You can be the first one in your family to break the chain.”

“The Room is probably the most honest representation of who I am as an artist,” says CalledOut Music. “It’s the sounds I grew up with, the music that shaped me, and the stories I’ve carried with me for years. We wanted listeners to feel like they’re in the room with us, experiencing the music as it happened.”
Created as a space to simply let the music speak, The Room invites every tribe and tongue to encounter the presence of God. While this is not a traditional worship album, the project remains deeply influenced by CalledOut Music’s faith and includes worshipful songs “He Knows My Name” and “Your Love for Me,” alongside “So Real,” with a joyful, vibrant melody guaranteed to deeply resonate with CalledOut Music’s audience.
Created after his move to the United States, The Room marks a new artistic chapter for CalledOut Music. Recorded live at Nashville’s Gnome Studios, the project was built the old-fashioned way, with musicians gathered in one room to create and capture songs together in real time. The result is a vibrant, deeply human collection of music rooted in connection, spontaneity, and authentic expression. “All of us have had moments where life did not look the way we thought it would. This song lets us know that we can’t say ‘it’s the end of our story in the middle of a disappointing chapter,” says Jones. “A lyric in this song says ‘if you’re still breathing, that’s a sign, you still have purpose, left in your life.’ No matter the situation, if there’s still breath in your body, there’s still more life to live.”
“He’s Not Finished” sets the tone for Sapp’s upcoming album Restoration. Sapp says “we live in a culture that writes people off because of mistakes and mishaps. Sometimes, individuals write themselves off because of their missteps and feel like there is no hope for them. However, the Gospel was not written to a group of perfect people, it was written to a group of people who needed redemption and restoration; that includes us. This song was written to specifically let people know He is not finished with you.”
