The Wardlaw Brothers Return With Foot-Stomping New Single “I Need You Now”
After a remarkable seven-year pause in new music releases—a number biblically symbolic of completion —the wait is finally over. Stellar and Dove Award–nominated Gospel sensations The Wardlaw Brothers (TWB) return with “I Need You Now,” a traditional, churchy, foot-stomping anthem that embodies the heart and soul of quartet Gospel.
TWB’s electrifying new single draws deeply from the roots of legendary quartet groups like Lee Williams & The Spiritual QC’s, The Canton Spirituals, and The Williams Brothers, whose artistry has inspired the Georgia-based quintet of singing siblings.
WARDLAW BROTHERS is comprised of five biological brothers: Tony, Martin Luther, Jamie, Carl, and Rodney. Their tight vocal blend, anchored by the smooth, resonant bass voice of brother Jamie, has made them instantly recognizable and uniquely defined in Gospel music.
“I Need You Now” is now available on all digital music outlets. The single is a prayer set to music, a declaration of faith, and a call to remember that in our most desperate hours, God’s presence and power are near. “I Need You Now” is written and produced by Stellar Award–nominated producer Martin Luther Wardlaw, the group’s primary songwriter.
