With any body of work, the clue is always in the title. Kingdmusic presents his third offering ‘Perfect Love’. This body of work carries a message of love. It takes one on a different journey roping you in different cultures with different sounds from all over the world. It took him over a year to work on this beautiful body of work.

‘Perfect Love’ is also connected to his previous albums. Debut album ‘Seasons’ was inspired by the tough seasons in Kingdmusic’s life. ‘Denga’ album was about embracing who he is as an African artist. Which brings us to the African inspired sounds on the album and lyrics that point to God’s love amid and having overcome tough seasons.

We are reminded that perfect love doesn’t hold back, it may be imperfect and limited with humans, but God’s love is perfect and unwavering.

Celebrate Africa, an afro-dance music expression of home grown writers, composers and
producers from Harare, Zimbabwe, has teamed up with Denga “Kingdmusic” Takalani, multi-
award-winning artist, songwriter, worship leader and record producer, to release a new song to
capture a new anthem of hope for this generation.

The song titled “Hallelujah”, is driven by a melodic fusion of Afro-beats and victorious dance
music, written in two languages (Shona and English). In amongst all of the news and
expressions of defeat and depression, this is a song of victory.

Tommy and Daniel Deuschle, who started the Celebrate Africa collective, say of the song: “We
believe this is a call back to courage. A reminder to keep hope in their hearts and victory in their
hand. We know the details of defeat and depression. This song focuses on the picture of victory
that we all have. It’s closer than we think and sometimes we hear the sound of victory, before
we see it.”

Denga Takalani adds: “This song is a declaration that we will not give up, no matter what the
circumstances are. We will continue to praise God because He is good and His love endures
forever.”

Celebrate Africa’s unique sound combines trans-african choirs, unforgettable melodies and
hope-hitting beats. Drawing inspiration from the hustle, hardships and beauty of Africa, the
writing and artistry carries the tension of both the “struggle” and “freedom” of life in Africa, and
points to the One who gives true liberty.

“Hallelujah” is just one of the songs that Celebrate Africa has released as part of a collaborative

‘Miracles’ is a faith building song that was written straight from the Word of God and inspired by the miracles that Jesus & His disciples performed during their time on earth. This is a powerful declaration to remind everyone that even today, God still performs miracles.

Kingdmusic premiered this song at a sold-out worship event in Pretoria, South Africa in June where the audience could be heard singing the chorus out loud declaring it over their lives (Highlight video). This is undoubtedly going to be one of the worship anthems to come out of 2022.

“My worship” is the first single from an upcoming worship EP by Kingdmusic, which features incredible artists like Gabriela Gomes from Brazil and more. This song was birthed in 2018 when Kingdmusic was hanging out with his best friend Tondi Rams, in an apartment they used to share in Pretoria, South Africa. The intention was to include the song on Kingdmusic’s debut album “Seasons” that came out in 2019, but they didn’t get to record it on time. This is actually the third version of the song, after two producers who worked on the previous versions lost the files between 2021 & 2022. “My Worship” has clearly found its right time for being released.

“Nobody Like You” is arguably one of the Christian Afrobeat classics. The song was released in August 2019. Followed by the music video, which was shot in Pretoria, South Africa & got released on the 4th of October same year. Kingdmusic & CalledOut Music decided to work on the new versions/ remixes of the song after a couple of fans asked that the pair work on another collaborative project over the years.

“Freedom” was originally released in June as part of the “Denga” EP. Kingdmusic felt that the message of the song is relevant to this generation and more people needed know about it. Hence, he invited Angie Rose to be a part of this global remix.

We are all dealing with different issues every day that can easily challenge our identity and what the Word of God says about us. These situations can hold us bondage and become burdens that hinder us from praising and worshipping God. The Bible though says that “who the Son sets free is free indeed.”– John 8:36

But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where they are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away.” This scripture put emphasis on the fact that God will forever be chasing after us with His unconditional love.

He makes a way through the desert even when we run away from Him. We’re sheltered from life’s storms even when we think we’re about to drown.
