ELEVATION RHYTHM Announces New Album With Single Release

ELEVATION RHYTHM introduces a new song, “You Will Be Saved,” available at all DSPs (listen here). This song and the previously released “PRAISES,” will both appear on the sophomore album, This Is the Gospel, which will release on April 14th. The upcoming release is available for pre-add/pre-save here. The group’s new seven-track collection follows ELEVATION RHYTHM’s first full-length offering, Growing Pains. But unlike their emotionally-focused debut, This Is The Gospel is not only a work of art but a testament to faith.

“I felt this call and this responsibility to say, ‘OK, if the next generation needs a foundation for their faith, what does that foundation look like? What is the Gospel? What are the pillars? What is the truth?,” shares ELEVATION RHYTHM’s lead architect and primary producer, Josh Holiday. “I just knew this next album had to be truth-centered, and I wanted to create music that was going to be foundational for this next generation in their faith journey.”

The new track that dropped today is a straightforward opus and a simple invitation of salvation. In addition to the song being available, the live performance video is available now below.

Holiday continues, “Knowing Jesus as a Savior is so humbling. I never want to get to a place where I feel like I don’t need saving. I never want to live that lie. This song isn’t just a salvation call for sinners. We all need to be saved. It’s for the lost — for the one — but it’s also to remind the 99, hey, don’t ever think you don’t need a Savior.”

Repentance. Salvation. Sanctification. Wrapped in timeless melodies, these essential tenets of faith are all presented in an elementary manner on This Is The Gospel with ELEVATION RHYTHM declaring: This is what we believe.

The catchy track features Joe L Barnes, who’s also credited as a writer on the song. “There’s nothing we could buy or change about ourselves that will make God love us any more. The song says, ‘all the best things in life are free.’ That’s home, family, love, etc. and that’s what we’ve found and want young people to experience for themselves,” says Barnes.

“When we sat down to write this song, we were looking for a way to communicate that nothing replaces the significance found in being accepted for who we are in Christ,” says Davide Mutendji of ELEVATION RHYTHM. Today, the group is also releasing a video of “SIMPLE.”
