Fresh off from releasing her debut album “He is Changing Me”, Gospel music minister, Blessing Airhihen has encouraged the body of Christ with the release of a brand new single titled “Fear Not”.
The angels appeared to the shepherds in Luke 2 and brought the good news of Jesus’s birth. The birth of Jesus comes with peace, joy and grace. One of the reasons Jesus came is that we might be free from fear. Fear is a crippler, and this song is a message to believers to remember the purpose of Jesus coming.
Do not be afraid, no matter what is happening around you. The dayspring from on high has visited us. God is with us, do not be afraid. He will take care of you. He always knows what to do.

All over the world, there is a cry for change. People desire things to happen, communities, nations all calling for change. This album was created to remind us that change comes by the Word of God. As we look, study the Word we are changed. 2 Corinthians 3 vs 1.
Sharing the inspiration behind the project, Blessing Airhihen said “As a child, I used to listen to Yolanda Adams, tried singing like Shirley Ceaser and loved to lead popular songs sang by them in church. Growing up, I found a strong passion in me to encourage people on different life journeys.
I remember paying a condolence visit to one of the kids I used to teach at Sunday school on the untimely death of their father. I was moved to sing the song “I will be with You in joy and in pain “. Everyone in attendance was greatly encouraged It’s been a journey of faith from very little beginning, taking bold strides in learning the ropes of song writing as a music group leader to weaving my passion for worship and encouragement into songs. After years of trusting and waiting on God for direction, I felt the nudge to release my songs during the covid pandemic.
Every song released has come with a greater passion to strengthen people by the Word. Today, we have an album of inspirational songs from the Spirit”.

More than any other time beloved, we need the fresh Fire of the Holy Ghost upon our lives today. Nothing can answer the confusing questions that the enemies are raising today, than the Fresh Fire of the Holy Ghost. This is a Prophetic song to the saints of this generation.
“I got an insight into the parable of the ten Virgins in Matthew 25. They struggled with sleep as they waited for the master. I could hear one of them saying “Come Lord Jesus” and God in return says “Stay awake! You are the light of the world”. This song is a prayer and I trust that the fire of God will fall afresh on the Church as we listen to renew, revive, restore and consume anything that is not of God in our lives”, Blessing Airhihen said.

“Rejoice” can be described as an African contemporary Praise anthem with a blend of Caribbean sound. The death of Jesus on the cross says it all. We will celebrate what God has done daily. We rejoice because the victory won at Calvary gives us the assurance for today and the future irrespective of what we experience.God is always good.

“I had the inspiration to write this song in 2009 as we were preparing for our Annual musical concert “Soul Touch” at Shepherds Vine Christian Centre, Bayelsa State – Nigeria. The words of this song makes God’s word come alive in me.” Blessing said.
God will do what He said He will do. As we prepare for the new year, let us look ahead with hope in our hearts. We will sing the victory song. The set time to favour zion is now because God has favored us. There shall be a revival again. Be encouraged!

UK based Singer/Songwriter, Blessing Airhihen releases a new single titled “Ain’t Gonna Let No Rock”.
According to her, this song was written about 14 years ago from a place of prayer and gratitude to God. We were created to worship Him, no matter what comes our way on this journey of life. David said “I will bless the Lord at all times”. Yes! not sometimes, or in good times only.
Life comes with its challenges but we can choose to praise Him notwithstanding. If we don’t praise him, the rocks will cry out.
“I have decided to praise Him so rocks won’t do it in my place. Let us put on our garment of praise! Our God is worthy of ALL praise in every season”, Blessing said.
Blessing Airhihen is passionate about worship and encouragement of the Body of Christ. She was born and raised in Benin City, Edo State – Nigeria. She gave her life to Jesus at an early age and started her music journey from the children’s choir. She consistently served as an alto singer, worship and music leader in various choir groups. She coordinates the Voice of Encouragement VOE, a platform to strengthen and uplift the Christians through songs, podcasts and prayer.
She is a Pharmacist, Scientist and Lecturer by profession. Blessing is married and blessed with children.
