Spotlighting uniquely inspired new arrangements of 11 past and present worship favorites—brought to life by some of the most compelling and diverse voices in the genre today—The Houston Session: Live at the Iron Manor, will be available October 24 from StowTown Records’ newest initiative, StowTown Worship Resource.

A groundbreaking celebration of praise spanning styles and bridging generations, the project was recorded earlier this year at the Metro United Worship Conference in Houston. Produced by Matthew Summers (Kirk Franklin, Mac Powell), The Houston Session: Live at the Iron Manor brings together such renowned artists and worship leaders as TaRanda Greene, Alvin Slaughter, Stephen McWhirter, Elevation Worship’s Isaiah “Zeek” Templeton, Jody McBrayer, Durell Comedy, and Linnette Pilar, among others.

Beloved gospel recording artist Alvin Slaughter is featured on the joy-infused debut instant-grat track, “Holy, Holy Holy” offering a highly anticipated first taste of the landmark recording.

Additional highlights of The Houston Session: Live at the Iron Manor include “Heart of Worship,” TaRanda Greene’s stirring take on the Matt Redman favorite; Stephen McWhirter’s instant classic “Come Jesus Come”; and the popular Psalm 23-inspired “Shall Not Want” as well as the soulful hymn medley “Draw Me Nearer/All Hail The Power” performed by Isaiah “Zeek” Templeton.

“My first Christian EP opened a door I didn’t even realize I’d been waiting to walk through,” shares Trent Harmon. “With Give Me Jesus, I’m stepping fully into it  – and I can’t wait for everyone to hear where this journey has led.”

Earlier this year, the singer-songwriter hinted at this shift with a poignant social media post of a video he filmed after a “particularly great” show in 2018 that still left him feeling unfulfilled and with the overwhelming urge “to point a light towards heaven.” Life slowed down and priorities shifted after Trent Harmon got married in 2020 and welcomed his first child in 2023.

Through it all, worship kept calling him back, and Trent Harmon couldn’t shake the feeling that he was meant for something more. “I’ve reached thousands through Idol and touring, but every time I led worship, I felt fulfillment I never found on a country stage.”

Punk artist Grace Graber has released the Everything You Ever Wanted EP as the culmination of a year of burnout, healing challenges and, ultimately, growth.

The EP is named for the Hawk Nelson cover Grace Graber recently released with Audiophile. More importantly, it’s a question she was asked by someone in the industry that ultimately hit the songstress much deeper than a title-based pun.

“This wasn’t everything I wanted because I was still doing things in my own strength,” Grace confesses. “For example, ‘Better Now.’ I wanted to be in a better place when I released that song. I was singing about how Jesus freed me from anxiety and depression, and at that time I was thinking, ‘I went back on antidepressants for like a week.’ I was like, ‘What is going on, Lord?’”

“Pressure” captures those feelings well.

“Pressure’ is my crash-out song when I was going through my burnout phase at the beginning of this year,” she says in retrospect. “‘Pressure’ is my past. The feeling that there’s not a whole lot of help. Like, the pressure that I’m under has taken the fun out of this, and I’m done with that. I see the Lord in the simple things: in my marriage. In my alone time.”

Similarly, with “Run,” Grace Graber could feel both the song’s real aspiration and the gap between knowing its truth intellectually and fully living its reality. As an independent artist with an incredibly prolific output and commitment to growth, 2025 was the year Grace finally began to feel herself flagging, burning out. She knew she had to run back to God and let Him carry her forward.

She explains, “So when I was asked, ‘Is this everything you ever wanted?’ I was like, ‘No, not really. I’m in pain. I’m tired. But I feel this call to do this so deeply.’ When I finally sat down, and it was just me and God, we had some talking to do. I ended up realizing: I need this. This is my lifeline, to be with the Lord.”

That lifeline has ended Grace Graber at the end of this year as an increasingly established artist in a place of tremendous growth. Releasing the EP is also a way of releasing months of struggle and tension that were ultimately essential for deeper healing.

“I can look back on that season and confidently say that God did not waste pain. He did not waste my heart. He restored my hope in Christian music and myself. And I’m still healing from that season, but this is part of the healing process,” Grace Graber concludes.

Australian husband and wife rock duo JSP have released “No More (feat Kevin Young),” their third single in the lead-up to their November debut album.

The song is a nu-metal-flavored banger that sees the hard rock outfit kicking their sound up a notch with the help of producer Josiah Prince (Disciple) and a vocal feature from Kevin Young (Disciple). The musical intensity marries with the song’s core message of defiance.

“I wrote the chorus to No More nearly 20 years ago,” explains guitarist James Petterson. “In those times, I was questioning myself and the circumstances that I was facing.”

Two decades of hurt and healing later, James was at the piano playing a new riff as a verse took shape. He realized it fit perfectly with that long-ago chorus. He and his wife and vocalist Sarah Petterson would finish writing “No More,” a complete song coming together quickly after decades of waiting.

James says, “This was very symbolic. It was as though the puzzle and the parts of me from over the years, from the place of hurt to the place of healing, had come together to become this song that encapsulates the journey Sarah and I had been on and summed it up in two words: ‘No More.’”

The way these words felt like a sacred summary made it easy to choose this song as the album’s title track. At its core, the song is about refusing to believe the lies of shame, distorted identity, fear, and distraction.

“These lies we believed were the result of the hurt and pain we had walked through… You believe that those things that happened to you were your fault. And because of that you must not be good enough for God, because if you were, it wouldn’t have happened,” James says, expanding on the throughline of this track and the album as a whole.

He continues, “No more is a break-up song with Satan’s lies. It’s an emphatic cry from the heart based on James 4:7: ‘Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.’ After living with these lies for so long and believing them, this song is redemption.”

After sharing the demo of the song with Josiah during the pre-production phase, they mentioned in passing how strong the song couple would be with Kevin Young’s vocals. To their surprise, Josiah took them seriously, pitching the feature to Kevin. He was instantly on board, offering a nu-metal flavor that lends texture and dynamism to an already explosive track. The result sets the stage perfectly for the full-length album to come.
