Dream Records’ Equippers Revolution releases a new song titled “True Love.”  An EP featuring this track is set to drop next Friday.

Multi-platinum rockers Skillet released another pre-release track from their new studio album, Dominion (Atlantic), which is set to drop on January 14, 2022. You can hear the title track streaming below. Fans can also pre-save the album here.

Their 11th studio project, it follows Skillet’s amazing track record of two RIAA certified multi-platinum albums, two Gold Albums, five RIAA certified multi-platinum singles, and four gold singles. Dominion, produced by Kevin Churko (Ozzy Osbourne, Papa Roach, Disturbed) with songs written by John Cooper, Korey Cooper, Kevin Churko and Kane Churko, was created 100% remotely between the band’s tour dates, home studio in Wisconsin, and the Churko’s studio in Las Vegas.

“DOMINION is about the celebration of freedom, a liberation from fear – to be who we want to be, say what we want to say, believe what we want to believe,” Cooper says. “In some ways it’s a reminder of the God-given rights that we were born with. It’s time to regain some sort of control over our lives and not be a slave to fear. I hope this record is going to make people feel empowered, inspired, uplifted and want to rock their faces off!”

Here is a new song dubbed “Firm Foundation” featuring Cody Carnes and Chandler Moore which can be heard below.

“Firm Foundation (He Won’t)” was written by Moore, Carnes and Austin Davis. This video was captured in Chicago, IL during Maverick City’s national tour, Welcome to Maverick City, October 1st, 2021.

No stranger to the struggle of how to balance work and family, Christian artist Ileen Laura’s hopeful and inspiring new single “Sit Beside Me” documents the process she and her husband went through as they figured out how to prioritize her music career amid their family responsibilities.

“Back in 2020, the pandemic had just become a

,” the singer/songwriter recalls. “Schools were shut down and, as a high school music teacher, this meant planning for school music concerts and festivals was put on pause.”

Within quarantine, time became all Ileen Laura’s for a moment, and she began to consider her life and her purpose — concluding that something was missing.

During one of the first evenings in the stay-at-home order, she and her husband were discussing why she stopped writing music after they got married, and got into huge disagreements. “I had been blaming him for missed opportunities,” she shares. With previously released offerings including “Letters To My Daughter” in 2013, and “Joy” in 2010, as well as having opened for Walk Off The Earth, Justin Nozuka, and at the Scene Music Festival, she had also just assumed her music career was now behind her — despite her husband’s willingness to support it.

“I wrote ‘Sit Beside Me’ after hearing my pastor speak one Sunday at our church on the subject of ‘Spiritual Gifts,’” she says. “He spoke about the fact that, as Christians we are all given these gifts, but it is up to us to use our gifts to glorify God.

“It was as if he wrote the sermon just for me. I realized I hadn’t been using my gift at all.”

A year later, she had written a full-length album, fully recommitting herself to her craft and higher power; I Am Yours is set for release this Spring 2022.

For its part, “Sit Beside Me” begins with a tinkling piano that gradually becomes richer and more full-bodied throughout the song’s progression. Punctuated by moments of dramatic percussion, Laura’s voice is clear and soaring as she sings with fondness and conviction about the church sermon that finally brought her back to her music.

Notable gospel artist, Charles Clark of Durham, North Carolina will be releasing his single, “You Are” on all digital platforms this Friday, January 7. This single is in preparation for a full album release in Spring 2022.

The song is a typical thanksgiving song from Akwa Cross part of the south-south region of Nigeria and it simply means “If not for the Lord, who was on our side…..”
