Shane Davis Releases “Your Desire” To Christian Radio
South Carolina-based singer-songwriter Shane Davis has released his heartfelt single, “Your Desire,” to Christian radio. The worship-infused ballad comes from his album Run To Me and was produced by Tim Lawter, renowned bassist of the legendary Marshall Tucker Band.
Davis, whose musical path has taken him from church platforms to high school bands to the stages of Southern nightclubs, brings a lifetime of experience and redemption into every song he writes. With a sound shaped by influences such as Lynyrd Skynyrd, BB King, We The Kingdom, and Jason Crabb, Davis has found his true calling in crafting music that glorifies God and speaks to the soul.
“Your Desire” is a deeply personal expression of worship—an open-hearted prayer to live every moment for Christ. Through poetic verses, Davis paints images of longing to “fall in a sea of [God’s] presence” and to be “a voice for [His] gospel,” freeing souls from the chains of sin. The chorus swells with a declaration that “most of all, Jesus, I want to praise Your holy name,” reflecting a desire to honor the Lord continuously, from “the four corners of [His] creation to the heavens on high.”
