
Sarah Reeves Drops “Run Away”
Born in Athens, Alabama, Sarah Reeves grew up in a musical household; her father, John Mark “Hershey” Reeves, was a musician, songwriter, engineer, and producer who helped establish Sound Cell Studios in Huntsville, Alabama, where Reeves recorded her first album. She began her musical odyssey at a young age, honing her skills in the church environment.
From competing in youth worship band competitions to securing a record deal and making albums, her trajectory mirrored the classic path of aspiring musicians. Since 2009, she has released five extended plays and six studio albums, as well as 26 singles.

In addition to pursuing her own artistry, Sarah Reeves has dedicated a portion of her career to writing songs for other artists for TV and film. Her music has appeared in Disney Plus and National Geographic’s six-part original series “Welcome To Earth,” starring Will Smith; Disney’s Raya and the Last Dragon international trailer; promos for “American Idol” and UFC; and on television series across major networks like ABC, NBC, CBS, FOX, Hallmark and Netflix, among others.
Reeves has also been featured on tracks by high-profile DJs, including: Gattüso, Laidback Luke, R3HAB, and Armin Van Buuren.
