Acclaimed genre-defying artist Victory returns with her first release of the year, “A Love Song From GOD,” a deeply moving single now available to stream via Roc Nation Distribution.

Written as a first-person message from the Divine, the song captures the fierce, unconditional love of a God who fights, aches, and longs for connection. With piercing lines like “I’ve gone to war against the forces of hell for you” and the soul-stirring refrain “I want you because I love you—not ’cause I need you,” Victory delivers a bold and tender expression of divine pursuit.

The track unfolds over a cinematic blend of gospel, folk, jazz, and R&B—hallmarks of Victory’s signature sound. Her vocal performance moves with quiet strength and emotional precision, building into a prayer-like crescendo that invites both personal reflection and spiritual awakening.

“A Love Song From GOD” follows the 2023 release of Victory’s acclaimed album Glory Hour and continues her mission to create music that transcends genre while staying rooted in faith. Since signing with Roc Nation in 2016 alongside her family, Victory has opened for Lauryn Hill and earned recognition for her deeply spiritual and boundary-pushing artistry.

This single marks a bold return, an invitation to experience love that heals, restores, and refuses to let go.
