Grammy Award-winning gospel powerhouse Tasha Cobbs Leonard breaks new ground with the release of her latest single, “Church,” featuring multi-award-winning singer, songwriter, and global music icon John Legend. The highly anticipated collaboration is now available on all major digital streaming platforms.
“Church” is an electrifying, genre-defying anthem that bridges the sacred and the soulful — blending gospel’s spiritual fire with John Legend’s unmistakable soul-infused vocals. The result is a rich, emotive celebration of what it truly means to encounter God beyond buildings, routines, or traditions.
With powerful lyrics that declare “You are the church / Right where you are / Carry the glory / Shine like a star”, the song is both a reminder and a call to action for believers to live as carriers of God’s presence wherever they go.
This collaboration marks a refreshing and bold moment for gospel music, bringing two world-class artists together to deliver a message of purpose, identity, and revival in a way that resonates across faiths, generations, and cultures.
“Church” follows the continued success of Tasha Cobbs Leonard’s critically acclaimed projects, including Royalty: Live at the Ryman and Hymns (Live), further solidifying her role as one of gospel music’s most influential voices.
