The title cut, “I’ve Got A Fire,” pulses with an unmistakable ’80s rock energy, brought to life in a vibrant music video featuring Pat Barrett’s own father, whose charismatic spirit embodies the song’s theme of unshakable joy in eternal things.
On the more intimate side, Barrett released “Hard Part Of A Dream,” a raw and inspiring ballad he calls his most personal work to date. With honesty and hope, it explores the courage required to pursue the dreams planted in our hearts, acknowledging that while envisioning them comes easily, the real challenge lies in the perseverance to see them through.
This fall and into 2026, Pat Barrett will bring the new songs from I’ve Got A Fire to live audiences as part of Brandon Lake’s “King of Hearts Tour.” Kicked off this week, the extensive arena tour spans 50 dates before wrapping up on May 2, 2026, in Charleston, South Carolina.
