After the pandemic which made the world came to a standstill, the litu geh ‘Yadah’ managed by SonsHub Media had the second edition of YALIC (Yadah Live In Concert) and it was nothing short of excellence as the event was graced by people from different walks of life.

One of the exciting moments at the second edition of YALIC was the collaborative effort from Yadah, Prospa Ochimana, Chris Morgan and Mercy Chinwo in ministering the award winning song Beyond Me.

The song which broke Yadah into limelight in the gospel industry was originally recorded in 2019 at the maiden edition of YALIC and has been a source of blessing to lives far and wide.

The audio to the live rendition produced by Manus Akpanke for Koined Records and mixed by Jerry Okereke is now available on all digital stores.

Also available is the live video edited by Akawangi Elisha and directed by Victor Okoloise for Alian films.

Featuring Brazillian Gospel singer Paola Carla and produced by foremost Nigerian EDM producer Sigag Lauren, ‘Belongs to You’, which is also partly sung and subtitled in Portuguese is the first single from Sarah’s forthcoming multi-genre remix project. In this project – which is expected in Summer 2022 – Sarah reinterprets the original Afrobeats song through collaborations with producers and artists from around the world.  

‘This has to be one of the most exciting and nerve-wracking projects I’ve ever done, because I’m taking one song, reimagining it and then recreating it through the lens of different musical styles’, said the London-based singer who is well known for her unique ability to artfully combine soulful gospel and heartfelt worship music into a stirring yet uplifting sound.

Listeners will also be introduced to singer Paola Carla; winner of the 2017 edition of the Som Gospel Music Contest Brazil and whose beautiful sound has been hailed by the likes of Brazilian football star Neymar.

This soul-lifting song titled “I have never seen” is one of the tracks in Moyin Omidiji’s first-ever music album titled “The Shepherd”.

Dove Award-winning band The Afters release the official music video for “Say Goodbye (Say Hello)”. The single, which dropped earlier this year, is available to stream/download here.

Dewey Smith is setting the tone for 2022 by entering the TOP 10 Billboard Gospel Airplay Charts with his debut single, “Your Presence Is A Gift”. This is the first single from his debut EP, “God Period” that held the top spot on the 2021 Billboard Top Gospel Albums chart for multiple weeks. “God Period” also concluded the year finishing in Billboard’s ‘Top 50 Gospel Albums’ of 2021.

When asked about his inspiration for the single, “Your Presence Is a Gift” Dewey responded saying: “This song means so much to me because it’s a tribute to my mother who passed away a few years ago. Actually, my godmother, mother, best friend from college & sister all passed away within 28 days. After going through a major depression, I realized that I had been fixating over my deceased loved ones’ absence and not appreciating God’s presence.”

He went on to say, “Although we’ve all dealt with loss, it’s assuring to know that God’s presence is a gift.”
