[Music] See Clearly – Elias Dummer & Sandra McCracken

Capturing humanity’s collective longing for a world free from sickness, strife and confusion, Juno and GMA Canada Covenant Award-winner Elias Dummer offers “See Clearly” today. Featuring acclaimed singer/songwriter Sandra McCracken, the plaintive, indie-pop hymn was penned by Dummer and David Leonard (All Sons & Daughters) and co-produced by Dummer and Brent Milligan.

Backdropped by the stark realities of a freshly war-torn world still reeling from a pandemic, “See Clearly” encourages the children of God to rest our gaze squarely on Jesus. “When my heart beats for the world/for empty promises of peace/I ache, I want something real/and it’s You, it’s only You,” Dummer sings, a reminder that while brokenness and false hopes are pervasive, His Truth is unwavering

“Information seems to grow more chaotic and relative in our world, so I’m left with a simple prayer to Jesus: ‘I only see clearly when I can see You,’” Dummer shares, encapsulating the song’s core message. “When I fix my eyes on Jesus, He helps me see how I should behave more clearly; Jesus helps me see false beliefs more clearly; Jesus helps me see my neighbor more clearly.”

“I adored working with Sandra because her voice carries an earnestness that so perfectly conveys the sentiment of ‘See Clearly’—the temptation we all feel to settle for various forms of peace that are not eternal,” he adds of the duet.

“See Clearly” marks Dummer’s second single of the year, following January’s “Kyrie Eleison (It’s Mercy We Need),” featuring Seattle-based Citizens. Among a string of collaborations, Dummer released the gratitude-filled “Carry” last year with singer/songwriter JJ Heller, while acclaimed duo Land of Color joined him for September’s “The Gospel Is Rest.” Co-produced by Dummer and Milligan, each of these selections—as well as the soaring 2021 anthem “Expectation”—will be featured on Dummer’s highly anticipated sophomore solo set, The Work Vol. II.

Elias Dummer co-founded and fronted one of Canada’s most acclaimed worship bands, The City Harmonic. As the group’s principal songwriter, he helped pen such hits as “Holy (Wedding Day)” and “Mountaintop,” as well as “Manifesto,” which served as the theme song for 2011’s National Day of Prayer. The City Harmonic earned 12 GMA Canada Covenant Awards and a Juno Award (Canada’s GRAMMY® equivalent), before disbanding in 2017.

Dummer released his solo debut, The Work Vol. I, in 2019 and was named Breakthrough Artist of the Year at the 2020 Covenant Awards. Both as a solo artist and with The City Harmonic, Dummer’s music has garnered more than 70 million streams to date.

Honor & Glory Release Self-Titled Album

BEC Recording’s Honor & Glory, the worship project started by members of Disciple, releases new music with their full length self-titled album. They previewed the release with last month’s “Jesus We Love You.”

Honor & Glory is comprised primarily of Disciple members Kevin Young, Josiah Prince, Joey West, and Andrew Stanton, with additional support from Dane Allen of LOYALS and Marco Pera of Amongst the Giants. Despite the shared lineup, early outings have proved that Honor & Glory sets are distinct from Disciple’s shows. “The only way you can lead anybody to do anything is by you doing it first,” Kevin explains. “We’re not performing. I’m not trying to be the lead singer of a band. We’re just worshipping.”

Download Mp3: Spring Theory – PEABOD

PEABOD releases new music with a single titled “Spring Theory.” Alongside the new music, PEABOD also shares the official music video, which can be viewed below. On social media, PEABOD shares the following about the track.

I don’t usually get nervous to share music, but the song I’m dropping on Friday is one that I’ve been waiting to release for nearly 2 years, so I’m feeling some feelings  I started writing Spring Theory right after the biggest tour I had ever been a part of got canceled because of the pandemic. The momentum my team and I had been working for seemed to grind to a halt (as it did for everybody). We decided to focus on releasing music. At that point I already had the track list for Growing Up Part 1 basically finished. But around that same time my anxiety took a turn for the worse, so I returned to songwriting as a processing tool. I wrote in bits and pieces over the next few months, and those thoughts became Spring Theory. As I longed for a new season in the world, in my life, and in my mental health, this song served as both a lament and a prayer of hope for me. Now, 2 years later, I can look back and see all the ways God cared for me. Through counseling, through my incredible wife, through the prayers of trusted friends, He continues to show up and meet me in new and personal ways that I never expect.
If you’ve been waiting for a new season, this song is for you. I hope it’s validating and encouraging and that it points to this good news: when your situation feels dark and cold and you feel like nothing will ever change, hold on. Spring is coming. God sees you, and He loves you, and He’s with you. Hallelujah.

Known for his “happy raps,” clever wordplay, and catchy production, Seattle native Isaac Peabody puts an infectious new spin on the hip hop genre. Known by the stage name PEABOD, he makes the hip hop genre accessible to a wider audience and fills it with a long-overdue dose of fun relatability. Loaded with talent and infectious energy, PEABOD is a musical sensation listeners will be eager to call friend.

Download Mp3: Say It Again – 29:11 Worship

Arizona worship team 29:11 Worship releases a new track title “Say It Again” (DREAM Worship) available to all digital retail outlets today.  This beautifully hopeful and vertical song features Zion Rempel & Justice Couch.  The track was produced by Jaden Moody and Zion Rempel.  Ever a staple in their worship experience at 29:11 Church in Mesa, Arizona, “Say It Again” has become an increasingly encouraging song lifting up the power of God.

“I love the declaration in this song… that the God I spoke to this morning is the same God who spoke with Moses at the burning bush, with David in the wilderness, and with Daniel when he sat in the lion’s den. And even greater still, the God who raised Christ from the dead is the same God moving and working in my life! That inspires my faith. It’s certainly inspired the faith of our own house. We’re literally seeing miracles happen all around us as we sing these words, cause we’ve started to believe what we’re singing. I pray that this song inspires the faith of the church to pray the impossible, because through our God, it’s not quite that impossible.” – Zion Rempel, 29:11 Worship

[Music] Bury Me In The Water – Ben Myers

“Bury Me In The Water,” the latest single from Louisiana singer/songwriter Ben Myers, goes for adds today to Christian Country and Christian AC-formatted radio outlets. The single is available across all streaming outlets and digital stores; a lyric video for the new song can be viewed below.

“This song is an anthem to being a victor through Christ Jesus and clinging to Him in good times and in difficult times,” explains Myers.

“Bury Me In The Water” follows Myers’ single, “Tired,” which took the No. 1 spot on the Christian radio chart when it was first released. That song also earned Myers a spot in the quarterly Top 10 of the CMunited Songwriters Contest.

“Tired” was written in response to Myers and his wife, Marlayna, receiving news that their unborn child had died.

“We both were feeling sorrow and grief,” Myers shares, “and then anger crept in.”

Inspired by Marlayna’s strength, Myers says he picked up his guitar and poured his emotion into a song, which turned out to be “Tired.”

“I can look back at the day we lost our unborn child and find peace in knowing that through the struggle, I gained perseverance,” he says. “I want to continue writing songs that point to peace and joy through Jesus.”

Myers has been managed by McLaughlin Music Group since January 2022.

Nash Revival Duo Releases Eleven Songs Over Two Months Including Award Winning “I Do”

New Christian duo Nash Revival (Matthew Soileau and Brandon Chase) has released eleven songs in the last two months including their CMT/Nashville Songwriter’s Association award winner, “I Do.” The official audio for “I Do” can be heard below.

Nash Revival has won several Nashville awards and garnered pitches to CCM artists and TV and movies prior to independently releasing their music. But the most rewarding part of songwriting for Soileau has been when the songs touch someone’s heart. He stated, “A family member cried when listening to So Help Me God (an award winner) due to the trials she had gone through in her life. Another friend told me that The Strength of the Weak and When I Say Father gave him chills. This is the best affirmation I could get for what I truly believe God has put in my life and called me to do. I hope these songs can assist a positive, faith-filled response to the trials of life. I want people to come to our music for spiritual uplifting and even contemplation and prayer.”

Soileau described his journey to songwriting, “I was looking everywhere and searching for a new career that would realize the full potential of my God-given gifts through sixteen years of working in the healthcare industry at that time. I truly believe God found me and gave me a message through another person. I initially started songwriting as a joke with a fellow employee but later realized I could really write. It was natural to write Christian songs along with Country songs because I had been listening to CCM for over twenty years due to a hunger for spiritual music outside of church on the weekend.”

Soileau, lyricist, was introduced to songwriting later in life by a patient at his physical therapy clinic. He was always searching for what God wanted him to do since he didn’t feel like therapy was his final destination. Five years after his patient introduced him to the CMT/NSAI song contest he won it with the help of co-writer and vocalist Chase. Chase has his own history in the industry with a former stint on The Voice, Team Blake and currently singing with the break-out Christian band, I Am They. Soileau is originally from Louisiana but now resides in Spring, Texas with his wife and three kids. Chase is from Fort Worth but now lives outside of Nashville.

Nash Revival’s music is available now on Amazon MusicApple Music, and Spotify.
