SONS THE BAND release their debut album Live from 1971. This project was recorded at 1971 Sounds in Atlanta, which has a history with SONS THE BAND. SONS THE BAND are paying homage to the studio by releasing this collaborative project. The studio captures the heart of both, which will always be creating songs for the Church.
SONS THE BAND’s Jordan and Steve met in March 2020 at a songwriting camp hosted by Maverick City Music in Atlanta, GA. SONS THE BAND was born in Jordan’s studio a few months later, and dreams became a reality. In keeping with today’s contemporary Christian style, their sound centers around heavy guitars, gospel piano, and dynamic vocals. Although the elements may be like other groups, they hope the sound they create resonates through the Church and helps add a new expression to the worship of the King.
Upbeat and impactful, “Only Ever Good” expresses God’s unwavering goodness. The moment the track begins, the energy is evident. The joy and love of God come through in the vocals and the instrumental parts. Everyone who listens to this song will enter a space representing God’s all-embracing goodness. “His nature is goodness, and his goodness infinitely extends to his sons and daughters. It’s a declaration that in good times and bad, his nature doesn’t change.”
In contrast to “Only Ever Good,” “Cross and Empty Grave” is an introspective worship experience. The listener begins the journey with impactful, reflective lyrics and minimal instrumentals. Instead of presenting a standard praise and workshop song, Cross and Empty Grave tells the story of Christ’s journey to resurrection and the impact that journey has on all of us. “The lyrics remind listeners that even in his greatness and majesty, God still desires to have intimate relationships with his children. Through his resurrection, God reminds us that He is everything.”
SONS THE BAND is the confluence of Denver transplant Jordan Colle and Detroit native Steve Davis.
Award-winning artist Meredith Andrews shares a passionate ballad of hope and relief with “Carry The World.” Reminding listeners that we weren’t meant to shoulder the weight of the burdens we bear, the timely track suggests that there is One willing and able to carry them for us — One who holds the whole world in His hands.
Andrews originally introduced the song in Spanish on her first full-length Spanish language album, Ábrenos Los Cielos. Now available in English for the first time, the poignant offering invites weary listeners to cast their cares on a God who is capable of great things.
“Carry The World” was written by Andrews, Ryan Ellis, and Andrew Bergthold; and produced by Andrew Bergthold.
Matthew West shares new music with his latest single “My Story Your Glory.” The official music video can be viewed below. “My Story Your Glory” is available now.
Grammy-Award-winning artist Chris Tomlin is releasing his new worship project ALWAYS, today (Sept 9).
The album contains 13-tracks, all of which were co-written by Chris except for the beloved classic “O Lord, You’re Beautiful” written by Keith Green. Chris’ enthusiasm for the craftmanship of the song runs deep. “This project is all about helping people have an encounter with God through worship…” shared Chris.
Chris performed the album’s title-track radio single “Always” live for the first time on the “Tomlin UNITED tour” (a Pollstar Top 10 Worldwide tour) this spring. The song is a nod to Hebrews 13:8, “Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever.” The song’s official live video was filmed during Chris’ annual “Good Friday Nashville” concert event and premiered exclusively with Facebook.
Six-time GRAMMY winner Amy Grant revisits her critically acclaimed 1997 album, Behind The Eyes, exactly 25 years to the day of its original release, with a very special project: Behind The Eyes (25th Anniversary Expanded Edition). Featuring the twelve tracks from the original album completely remastered, plus 18 bonus tracks, b-sides, demos and two brand new reimagined tracks by producer Keith Thomas, the album is available digitally as well as a triple-vinyl package with expansive narratives from Amy and producers Keith Thomas and Wayne Kirkpatrick (track listing below). For a limited time, the vinyl package will also be signed and numbered by Amy.
“Snapshots of life…that’s what these songs are,” Grant recalls. “Rediscovering so many unreleased tracks was like finding an old roll of undeveloped film 25 years after taking the pictures!”
Twenty-five years ago, Amy Grant released one of her most critically acclaimed albums, Behind The Eyes. The album was a landmark release showcasing the singer-songwriter side of Amy and was one of the most honest and vulnerable grouping of songs in her award-winning catalog. Behind The Eyes was Grant’s twelfth studio album and upon release, debuted at No. 2 on Billboard’s Christian albums chart and No. 8 on the Billboard 200 and spawned two top 10 hits with “Takes A Little Time” and “Like I Love You”. 2022 marks the first time the original album and the 18 bonus tracks will be available on vinyl.
In support of the anniversary of the Behind The Eyes, Amy will launch a 25 city tour in September/October and each night will include several songs from the project. Dates will be announced soon with all details available at amygrant.com.
Following nine consecutive No. 1 debut singles, G.L.O is set to send “Famous” to Christian radio today. The latest music from the rapper/singer-songwriter, whose stage name stands for God’s Love Only, will go for adds to Christian Hot AC/CHR and Rhythmic-formatted radio outlets.
“My new single delivers a vivid lyrical description of what we see going on today in the Church scene and in the world,” G.L.O shares.
Based on Mark 8:36-37, the lyrics ask ‘What will a man give in exchange for his soul?”
“’Famous’ is a reminder,” G.L.O says, “that Jesus Christ is the name above all names and as followers of Christ we are to spread His fame to this lost and dying world.”
The song, featuring hard-hitting synths, drums and chimes to produce a fairytale-like sound, is written by Kim Denise Ruiz and produced by Alex Rene Espinoza. A video for “Famous” is available on YouTube. The single has been released for streaming across all streaming outlets.
“Famous” is the 10th single for G.L.O, a release that follows nine singles debuting at No. 1 on ChristianRadioChart Weekly.
Music has been important to G.L.O since she was young. When she received Jesus Christ as her Savior in 1998, she asked God to reveal her purpose. As she began writing songs, the songwriter noticed that none of her songs glorified God.
“That all changed one fateful day,” G.L.O says, “when God had a Word for me in Bible Study: ‘You can’t have one foot in the world and one foot out.’ After receiving that message, it was the breakthrough I needed. I haven’t looked back.”
With a ministry that knows no boundaries and one that reaches the young and the old, G.L.O’s prayer is that her music can break down the misconception that rap is only of the world.
G.L.O has appeared on local TBN networks as well as UK London International TBN. She has performed onstage at the Gospel Superfest where she shared the platform with artists such as Deitrick Haddon, Lecrae, Dorinda Clark-Cole, and others. She has enjoyed radio airplay from U.S. and international radio outlets.

The Welcome Wagon is thrilled to announce their new album Esther set for release November 4th via Asthmatic Kitty Records. The indie-folk duo is comprised of Vito Aiuto, a Presbyterian minister who pastors a small church in Brooklyn, and his wife Monique Aiuto. Esther is their fourth full-length album and marks the return to Asthmatic Kitty Records, the label on which they began their musical journey. As a preview they released the first single “Isaiah, California” off the album that is out now.
Esther is the fourth full-length album from the Welcome Wagon as they return to Asthmatic Kitty Records, the label on which they began their musical journey. Fittingly, it is a record that explores the idea of home in all its beauty and complexity. Regarding the album, Vito of The Welcome Wagon says, “It became apparent to us that so many of these songs were about coming home, or leaving home, or reckoning with the homes we grew up in. Plus we wrote them in our home”, says Vito, laughing.
“Making a home in this world is one of the hardest and most beautiful things any of us ever do”, says Monique. “Our music helps us to do that—to make a home, together with our family and friends—and we hope that somehow our songs might help others to make a home wherever they are, too.”
Esther is as much about homecoming as it is about making peace with—and a home in—uncertainty. The project had its beginnings in the summer of 2017, when the family took a two-month sabbatical to California. Shortly after returning to Brooklyn, Vito found himself holding his guitar and allowing his fingers to play a few notes that just felt…right. Then the pandemic hit, and Vito’s strumming, lyrics, and thoughts became the soundtrack of the family’s lockdown lives. Though Monique had given up painting a decade prior, she felt an urge to go home as well, to reconnect not just with an artistic identity but with her midwestern family. She began using pieces from a collection of her late grandmother Esther’s treasures to create large-scale collages, beautiful, evocative, and almost haunting in their pastiche of the past. Esther became the namesake of the project.

Esther was born out of this wellspring of creativity and homecoming, exploring the profound knowing and equally profound mystery in both family and faith. In Esther, the questioning is the destination, and it is one where peace can be found and home—and art—can be made. There’s a salve there. There is music. There are moments of grace, large and small. Welcome.
