Centricity Music Signs John Allan To Exclusive Recording & Publishing Contract

Centricity Music, the No. 1 Billboard Top Christian Albums Imprint for three consecutive years, signs Southern California native, multi-instrumentalist and indie rock, alt-pop artist John Allan to an exclusive, worldwide recording and publishing contract.

Inspired by the sounds of artists like The Killers, The National, Gang of Youths, Bon Iver and Novo Amor, Allan’s music is a creative feast for the senses that fuses both his sonic influences and his genuine love for Jesus. With original tracks that reflect his church-centric upbringing and love of leading worship at his local SoCal church, Allan believes that song lyrics are what matter the most.

“People are going to believe something about God based on what the song is saying,” contends Allan, who released a pair of EPs in 2022. “I really believe it’s about stewarding what He’s planted and chasing the idea until it’s healthy enough to thrive in someone else’s life.

John Allan is pictured (back row, center) with his Centricity Music team during a celebratory signing party.

“I’ve always felt drawn to music,” adds Allan, “but I think beyond music, it’s always been art — whether it’s pictures, melodies, lyrics, poetry, movies, television, scripts… I’ve loved it. So, the fact that I can even desire to create art, well, that’s just God planting that desire for His glory.”

“I’m incredibly proud to welcome John Allan to the Centricity Music family,” says James Duke, director of A&R. “His artistry is truly one of a kind and we can’t wait to see how his songs impact the world!”

“John’s love for art, music, Jesus and the Church is truly one of a kind. He’s magnetic!” exclaims David McCollum, manager at Change Relay. “His passion is contagious, and I couldn’t be more thrilled to be on this journey with him—sharing his energy, authenticity and music as it finds its way into the hearts and minds of listeners everywhere.”

The Pinnacle Peak Pictures film is produced by Michael Scott and directed by Mauro Borrelli.

THE LAST SUPPER is an awe-inspiring depiction of the ultimate act of divine love and sacrifice, told through the eyes of those who walked alongside Jesus Christ. This deeply intimate film unveils untold perspectives, shedding new light on the profound Biblical truths that shaped salvation history. More than a retelling, it is an invitation to experience redemption, grace, and the eternal promise of hope like never before.

thelastsupper

“I have always said that worship is more about seeing than singing and years ago, I was leading worship in Israel and that understanding was deeply reinforced. While standing in the place and seeing where Jesus gave His life, I was profoundly moved, reflecting on His final moments on Earth. That experience was a marking moment in my life,” shared Tomlin. “In watching THE LAST SUPPER film, I have had that same spiritual encounter. My prayer is that this film will meet people where they are and make a deep and eternal impact on their lives.”

Resurrecting the Spirit: Cory M. Coons’ “Faded Glory (Land of the Free)” Reclaims America’s Soul

In a world often overproduced and filled with synthetic sound, Cory M. Coons’ latest acoustic offering, “Faded Glory (Land of the Free)”, emerges as a beacon of raw authenticity and truth. Recorded at the storied Sun Studios—where the echoes of musical legends still linger—Coons strips his 2004 composition down to its elemental, honest core, inviting listeners into an intimate reflection on history, sacrifice, and the hope of redemption.

From the very first strum, it is clear that this rendition is not just a song, but a spiritual journey. With vintage microphones and the timeless technique of half-inch reel-to-reel tape, every note resonates with sincerity. There is no digital gloss here—only the purity of human emotion and heartfelt storytelling. In an era prone to auto-tune and overproduction, this acoustic version is a reminder that true art is born of vulnerability and the honest recounting of life’s battles and blessings.

The lyrics, steeped in themes of struggle against division and the timeless yearning for unity, echo the very essence of Biblical scripture. The closing words, “Listen you can hear it when the four winds blow,” evoke images of Matthew 24:31, where faith, hope, and the coming together of the faithful are promised.

Coons daringly weaves together narratives of historical loss, war, and the enduring power of love—a call resonant with both the heart and soul of believers seeking reassurance in turbulent times.

Adding to the song’s rich layers is the accompanying music video—a visual pilgrimage captured through the innocent eyes of Coons’ 10-year-old daughter, Charleigh Lynn Coons. Set against the backdrop of the evocative Armsdale Farm in Columbia, TN, the imagery of historic chimneys, an aged cook’s cabin, and subtle nods to Native American heritage deepen the song’s reflection on the passage of time and the legacies that define us.

The farm, with its Civil War connections and spiritual echoes of a bygone era, further emphasizes the song’s central message: the everlasting choice between conflict and compassion, division and unity.

For those with a discerning ear that yearns for authenticity and a heart tuned to divine messages, “Faded Glory (Land of the Free)” stands as a testament to the beauty of human resilience. It challenges us to teach our children the values of love, peace, and unity—the very principles that can guide us through even the darkest times.

In this remarkable acoustic rendition, Cory M. Coons not only revives a song steeped in American history but also crafts a modern-day psalm that calls upon every believer to find strength in the simplicity of truth.

In sum, Cory M. Coons’ latest single transcends the boundaries of genre, speaking directly to those who believe that in faith—and in the honest expression of our shared human heritage—there is a path to healing and redemption. This is more than just a song; it is a stirring call to reflect on our past, cherish the present, and march forward with hope for a unified future.

Coming off his 2025 GRAMMY win for Best Gospel Performance/Song, Jonathan McReynolds understands life isn’t always wins, but a balance of mountaintop and valley seasons. That’s why in his new book, Before You Climb Any Higher: Valley Wisdom for Mountain Dreams (Feb. 18, 2025, W Publishing Group, an imprint of Thomas Nelson), he invites readers to redefine how they view life’s lower moments.

Known for his soulful music and inspiring storytelling, McReynolds pairs those lyrical qualities with personal experiences and gleaned wisdom to make this point: A great mission requires from us a little grind, a little hustle, a little competition. But also plenty of time in the valley.

Not just another self-help book—Before You Climb Any Higher is a candid and introspective guide to discovering rest, renewal, and purpose in the valleys of life. McReynolds draws from his unique perspective as an artist who has reached the proverbial mountaintop—nationwide tours, awards, and millions of fans.

Born on the Southside of Chicago, McReynolds has garnered the support and collaboration of artists like Stevie Wonder, Justin Bieber, Maverick City Music, and more. He is a well-admired artist with wisdom to share what success looks like—how it feels to be “in demand.” Yet, McReynolds admits he’s found the most profound growth and peace off the stage in the quiet, reflective spaces of life’s “valleys.”

His new book invites readers—no matter what their goals are in life—to discover the beauty and abundance waiting in life’s quieter, humbler moments.

beforeyouclimbanyhigher

“We’re often driven by our dreams and ambitions to ascend life’s mountains. But even the strongest climbers will grow weary if they don’t take the time to rest,” McReynolds shares. “The valley isn’t a place of defeat; it’s a place to reconnect with grace, love, and encouragement.”

McReynolds adds, “The valley isn’t about finishing, achieving, or producing—it’s about being. It’s where we are reminded, we are more than our accomplishments.”

Through rich anecdotes, relatable reflections, and spiritually fueled guidance, Before You Climb Any Higher empowers readers to stop viewing valleys as setbacks and instead see them as necessary, life-giving pauses in their journeys of success.
