Today (Jul 19), Coquí releases new music titled “My Lord Provided.” This is a radio version and it’s a triple collab with the artists Jimmy Clifton and Much More.
Hailing from Los Angeles, Samuel Jacob Lopez Jr., better known as COQUÍ, is an innovative force in the music scene, blending nostalgic production with infectious melodies for a unique twist on modern rock. Influenced by the psychedelic sounds of the ’70s, ’90s hip hop beats, skate-punk rebellion, and grounded in his deep Christian faith, COQUÍ’s music is a call to introspection and conviction.
His journey in music, fueled by his father’s diverse vinyl collection, has seen him collaborate with industry heavyweights such as Young The Giant, RAC, and Crystal Castles, as well as touring behind the scenes with icons like 30 Seconds To Mars and Blink 182. COQUÍ’s distinct sound and faith-driven anthems have quickly made him a standout artist, challenging the indie music scene with tracks that are not just songs but rallying cries for a journey of personal exploration and truth.
Pointing listeners to the Hope of Christ amidst life’s troubles, critically acclaimed husband/wife folk duo Kenny & Claire release their full-length debut, Upon The Storm, today (July 19). Produced by GRAMMY Award-winner Mitch Dane (Brandon Heath, JJ Heller), the 12-track set showcases four freshly penned originals and eight modern renditions of enduring hymns.
The album’s title-cut—a stirring take on William Cowper’s 18th century hymn “God Moves in a Mysterious Way”—is now available on digital platforms. With updated verses and a new arrangement by Kenny & Claire and Mitch Dane, “God Moves (Upon the Storm)” carries deep meaning for the couple following Kenny’s struggle with a brain tumor as well as a life-altering chronic illness diagnosis.
“Though we do not always understand why God does what He does, we recognize that He is a God of mercy, and we are people who need mercy,” Kenny shares. “That’s one of the reasons the lyric, ‘behind a frowning providence He hides a smiling face,’ in ‘God Moves (Upon the Storm)’ is so powerful. This world is dark and stormy and full of struggle, yet behind that struggle, God—in His kindness—watches us and intends our fight through these struggles for our good.”
“In our own struggles with suffering—particularly related to Kenny’s health—we have continually returned to the promises of Scripture as well as the lyrics of old hymns,” Claire says. “’God Moves (Upon the Storm)’ reminds us of the truth of His sovereignty over all things, including a scary diagnosis. The humbling reality is that we do not fully understand the majesty of the Lord and that what He allows can sometimes be so very gut wrenching, but He is indeed faithful and trustworthy. This song lifts our eyes to God while recognizing the reality of life’s storms.”

Hallmarked by thoughtful, organic arrangements firmly anchored in a folk/Americana soundscape, Upon The Storm also features Kenny & Claire’s signature take on such classic hymns as “O the Deep, Deep Love of Jesus” and “Come Thou Fount,” among others, along with a uniquely emotive rendition of the popular Keith Getty and Stuart Townend-penned hymn, “In Christ Alone.” New selections including “Surely His Goodness,” “Have Mercy on Us” and “We Believe”—all written by Kenny & Claire and Mitch Dane—bridge the past and present with thematic consistency.
“We want to be singing the same songs that saints who have gone before us sang,” Kenny explains. “There’s a comfort in knowing that brothers and sisters who ended their race well sang these songs, and that they are in the Great Cloud of Witnesses encouraging us to cast off the weight of sin and finish well.”
“Our hope is that this album is a lighthouse pointing to the majesty, power, sovereignty, and holiness of the Lord in the midst of the reality of life’s storms,” Claire adds. “Through our own experiences, we’ve needed songs that point our hearts to Christ and help us rest in His glorious Gospel. We want the music we share to be songs we need ourselves, as 2 Corinthians 1:4 says, songs that ‘…comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort which we ourselves are comforted by God.’”
Legendary, long-running metal band STRYPER is set to return with their 12th studio album ‘When We Were Kings,’ out September 13th via Frontiers Music Srl. The band celebrates the announcement with not one but two new singles! “Loves Symphony” is a classic meets modern rock track while the more pop-leaning “Grateful” shows the band’s continued commitment to faith-based music. Both tracks are accompanied by music videos and follow up the first single “End of Days.”
STRYPER‘s current lineup includes original members Michael Sweet, Robert Sweet, and Oz Fox, along with bassist Perry Richardson, as they create what they consider their finest and most powerful music yet.
About “Loves Symphony” Michael Sweet shared this: “We’re always trying to merge the past with the present. Trying to incorporate the classic sound that older fans miss with the modern sound that newer fans hope for….‘Love’s Symphony’ is a great combination of both. It not only represents who we were but also who we are. We really are excited about this one and we hope you all are too.”
About “Grateful” Sweet added: “ Grateful’ is an answer to all the fans that have been wanting to hear a throwback to songs like “Calling on You”. It’s a different side of the band musically with a straight ahead, pop/rock melody and groove. It’s also a message of gratitude and being grateful for what you have, no matter who you are.”

GLADDEN has teamed up with Xander Sallows to release their new song “RICOCHET!.” A summertime bop feel good single chalked full of inspiration.
The song was co-written between the two and was produced by Sallows. This encouraging song is available anywhere music is digital sold and streamed. The artists share their thoughts on the song.
“’RICOCHET!’ Is a song that describes the experience of conviction and sanctification when one sins against the Lord. We fire our bullets of sin towards God and they ricochet back at us and we are hit with conviction, after we are hit with conviction, the bullets ricochet back at God with our praises and obedience. I really enjoyed writing this song with GLADDEN, it’s a great reminder to me that not everything in life is a clear line or straight path, it sometimes takes craziness and bouncing around to grow!” – Xander Sallows
“As Christians, God’s conviction has a ricochet effect with our actions. When we allow it, God’s Word can pierce even to the darkest parts of our souls leading to our sanctification. The more we are transformed, the more our actions will begin to ricochet back as praise to Jesus!” – GLADDEN

Minister Osita Peter returns with a prophetic Sound ‘Take It Back’.
The sound of restoration resonates with any and everyone who at any point in time the devil has stolen something from, by conspiracy or manipulation. It is time to TAKE IT BACK! as you prayerfully decree and declare the word of God in the song in spiritual warfare. This sound will propel you into a realm of prayer as you forcefully call forth your possession into existence in the Name of JESUS.
As the scripture declares, And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpiller, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you (Joel 2:25).

“So if you have been raised with Christ, seek the things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ, who is your life, appears, then you also will appear with him in glory.” [Colossians 3:1-4]
We may never choose to embrace the love that God so urgently wants to give us. Even so, there is no way for us to remove Him from the equation. As His creation, He is a part of our journey through this life. We may try and hide, but He will always find us and never stop waiting for us to return home. We were made for such a time so His glory can be seen.
“‘God Is In Your Story’ is a song of hope for the hopeless. By the end of the song, the listener will know that God hasn’t given up on them yet.” – Spoken Worth
Releasing on July 19, 2024, Spoken Worth returns with his first single since his ‘Holy Week’ EP earlier this year.
God Is In Your Story is not an anthem, it is a moment. It is truth and brutal honesty with equal parts inspiration and uncomfortableness. In his latest release, Spoken Worth provides listeners with the joy of scripture’s promises while demonstrating that it is okay to not be ashamed of our shortcomings.
Handling the track’s creation process from start to finish, Spoken Worth continues to lead the charge when blending spoken word poetry with the fabric of hip-hop culture. He has found a unique way of connecting with believers and doubters alike as his art takes on the natural characteristics of the human experience. While our paths may be different, God remains the one constant in all of our lives.
