Five-time GRAMMY-nominated Christian artist and songwriter Matthew West notches his 13th No. 1 on the Billboard Christian Airplay chart with “Don’t Stop Praying,”which rises to No. 2 on the Billboard Monitored AC chart and the Top 5 on Billboard’s Hot Christian Songs chart this week.

The achievement ties West with TobyMac for the most No. 1s among solo artists on the 2003-launched ranking. Penned by West and Jeff Pardo, the inspirational track marked the largest debut streaming week in the history of West’s monumental career upon release in January and is on track to be his most-streamed song to date.

The full length album features six new tracks on the album including “For Heaven’s Sake,” “Honest,” and “Rest,” along with previously released songs including her latest single, the title track,“Still Waters (Psalm 23)” which proves to be Leanna’s largest streaming single out of the gate, after fans begged her to finish the song after posting clips of it on social media.

“This record is full of songs pointing back to that reshaping – songs about finding my first love in Jesus and coming back to the simplicity of grace and the beauty of it,” explains Leanna.

Leanna has spent the last several years crafting this first album offering, which includes 14 songs like the fan-favorites “Make it Through,” “How Can You Not,” and “Vow To Be Yours”. The track “Still Waters” was teased nearly two years ago via the singer’s TikTok and Instagram, garnering immediate interest from fans and new listeners alike.

The message of the song draws from real-life inspiration: “Great-Aunt Maurine said at 103 / Write scripture on your heart for when you need it / ‘Cause anxiety hates Psalm 23 / So just say it to yourself ’til you believe it.” Leanna’s Great-Aunt Maurine lived to be 103, but in her 40’s she learned that she was going blind. She decided to memorize as much of the Bible as she could before her sight left her. Great-Aunt Maurine led Leanna’s mom to Christ, and that influence has been passed down to Leanna.

Singer/songwriter Tori Harper and worship leaders / songwriters Mark & Sarah Tillman teamed up for the first time to write and record “It’s Time” that is available today (July 19) at digital and streaming outlets globally through The Fuel Music via https://slinky.to/ItsTimeTH. With its lyric video premiering on CCM Magazine, the song is also set to go to radio outlets everywhere in the coming weeks.

“It’s Time” was written by Harper, the Tillmans and Ed Sheeran’s guitarist and GRAMMY®-nominated artist Mitch Parks. Parks, known for his work on projects by Zach Williams, Matt Maher and Housefires, also produced the track and split guitar, bass and keyboard parts on the song with Harper. Christian Paschall (Chris Tomlin, Crowder, Anne Wilson) mixed the track.

Revered Christian band, Newsboys, have released their anthemic new album Worldwide Revival (Part One) today, Friday, July 19, 2024.
