Pamela Hopkins Unleashes Fiery New Anthem Honoring Her Badass Dad

Little Rock, Arkansas native Pamela Hopkins is proud to announce the release of her latest single, “Raised Some Hell in Me.” After achieving five #1 international iTunes songs and over 1.5 Million Spotify streams, Pamela is ready to hit the airwaves with the follow-up to her highly successful February single release, “I Love You Most.”

“Raised Some Hell in Me” is a song dedicated to Pamela’s late father who passed away from cancer in December 2019. She wrote the song to illustrate how he had a rough around edges influence on her life.

Pamela says, “This is a story about me and my daddy. My dad was a little, for lack of a better word, ‘rough around the edges.’ I thought I would write a song about how he influenced me as a person, rough edges and all. I wanted a blues-country, heavy rock-influenced type of vibe, and in my humble opinion, I think we nailed it. So, if you had a father that is, or was, a little on the dangerous side, then I’m sure you’ll relate.”

Written by Hopkins with collaborators, Dave Lenahan and Melissa Leigh Johnson, the track was recorded at Direct Image Studio (Nashville, TN) and produced by Kenny Royster. The single is now available on all major music platforms.

Pamela Hopkins is a Josie Music Awards winner, an Independent Music Network Awards Winner, and a three-time 2022 Arkansas Country Music Awards nominee. She regularly performs in piano bars, Norwegian Cruise Ships, and clubs across the US. She recently performed for US troops in Alaska, Guam, Japan, and more. “Jesus’s love was like nothing anyone had seen before. He showed us how to love and calls us to love God and love people above everything else,” says Waldman about the song.

“Radical Love” is like a prayer, as the chorus begins: Give us a simple faith / Reflecting Your perfect grace / Shake off these heavy chains / Swing wide the gates.

The chorus goes on to reject the lies and surrender to His will: I lay down my position / Trade in my religion / For Your radical love.

The bridge of the song compels us to both confess and trust the Spirit of the Living God: You are the living water / Your love’s overflowing / Flow like a river through me / You are the pillar of fire / Your Spirit is leading / Shine like a fire in me

Josh Baldwin To Make Grand Ole Opry Debut August 17

On Thursday, August 17th, Gold-certified singer-songwriter and member of Bethel Music Josh Baldwin will make his much-anticipated debut at the legendary Grand Ole Opry. Baldwin is best known for his Gold-certified single “Stand In Your Love” which was featured on Bethel Music’s 2019 album VICTORY. He most recently appeared on Come Up Here with “Time and Time Again.”

“I’m so honored to be playing the Grand Ole Opry,” shares Josh. “Growing up in the South, the Opry has been a staple in my family. I remember growing up and hearing about the Grand Ole Opry from my grandparents, my cousins, aunts, and uncles, and hearing the radio program. Not really being ‘in’ Country music, I don’t think I even realized that was a dream I could have imagined, much less something I could accomplish.

I think the fact I’m able to do this and be a part of it while being in Christian music, is just so amazing and mind-blowing. It just feels like hallowed ground in some ways to be able to be there and be a part of something that has been around for years and years.”

This Fall, Josh will join Anne Wilson on “The My Jesus Tour” throughout the US. The 20-date tour kicks off September 28th in Webster, TX, and will head up the East Coast with stops in Virginia Beach and Jacksonville before wrapping in the Midwest on October 29th in Wooster, OH.

Josh Baldwin is a songwriter and worship leader who joined the Bethel Music Collective in 2014. Josh is known for his songs “Praises”, featured on Bethel Music’s Have It All, “You Deserve It All”, from his solo project Rivers, and “Stand in Your Love”, a song featured on Bethel Music’s album VICTORY (2019) which reached #2 on the Christian Billboard charts.

His latest album, Where the Glory Is (2022), is a reflection of his journey with the Lord and a return to the roots of pure worship.

This album’s lead single, “There Is Freedom”, reached No. 21 on the Billboard Hot Christian Adult Contemporary chart and No. 30 on the Hot Christian Songs chart. He has appeared on numerous Bethel Music albums including VICTORY (2019), Peace (2020), Homecoming (2021), and most recently on Come Up Here (2023) with his song “Time and Time Again”.

Released earlier this year, Dangerous Jesus: Why the Only Thing Riskier Than Getting Jesus Right Is Getting Jesus Wrong reintroduces readers to the true Jesus, the one who poses a living threat to the status quo. He’s a threat to our division. He’s a threat to our rebellion. He is the kind of dangerous that is so infused with power from on high that nothing stays the same when He walks into the room. His love is so strong, it’s intoxicating. His truth is so good, it sets people free.

This national broadcast appearance comes on the cusp of KB’s fifth studio album release His Glory Alone II, that drops on August 11, just one day after he kicks off the Summer Worship Nights arena tour with tourmates Phil Wickham and Brandon Lake.

His Glory Alone II will feature 16 tracks infusing the sounds of hip hop, gospel, afro-beats, and soul with a few worshipful ballads in between. Serving as the sequel to his previous record released in 2020, KB partnered up with producers WEARETHEGOOD, Scootie Wop, and Cardec Drums to deliver a full-length project that expresses the infiniteness of God. Additionally, KB peels back the layers of his own heart and journey, facing childhood trauma, abandonment, confusion, and doubt with unapologetic transparency.
