“While I Can,” the newest release from Matthew West, serves as a reminder to not let life pass you by and to live each day to the fullest. The concurrent visual, directed by Sean Hagwell with creative direction from Jade Driver, depicts all the blessings in West’s life including his wife, two daughters and mother. “With ‘While I Can,’ I think I wrote a song that I will be trying to live up to for the rest of my life,” shares West. “This is a song about the inner struggle between a busy life and a meaningful one. Sometimes my life can fall off track and my priorities can get mixed up. It’s in the moments of quiet reflection where songs like these rise to the surface and say the things my aching heart is feeling. This moment of quiet reflection turned into a moment of much needed redirection for me and I hope this song will do the same for someone else who hears it.”

West invites you to “Come Home for Christmas,” with his enchanting new holiday tune. Adding to the excitement, he has partnered with Candace Cameron Bure and Great American Family to highlight the endearing carol on their Great American Family channel all holiday season. He also co-wrote a tune, “Present This Christmas” with Lady A’s Hillary Scott who performed the track in “Candace Cameron Bure Presents: A Christmas…Present” which premiered on November 27.

The five-time Grammy® nominated artist has had a monumental year: his current single “Me On Your Mind” is his most recent number one song, spending 6 weeks atop the Mediabase Christian Airplay chart and graced the top the Billboard Christian Airplay Chart for 5 weeks.The track is his fifth consecutive chartopper.
