World-renowned producer and composer Tommee Profitt has joined forces with breakout vocal powerhouse Jamie MacDonald to release “We Turn Our Eyes,” a breathtaking reimagining of the classic hymn “Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus.” The track serves as a centerpiece for Profitt’s highly anticipated cinematic album, The Resurrection of a King, which debuted this week.

“We Turn Our Eyes” stays true to Profitt’s signature “epic” production style—blending lush orchestral arrangements, haunting piano melodies, and high-stakes percussion—while MacDonald’s soul-stirring vocals provide a vulnerable, yet triumphant anchor. The song transforms the traditional hymn into a modern anthem of surrender, emphasizing the peace found when shifting focus from the chaos of the world to the “wonderful face” of Christ.
