London-Based Gospel Artist Bukola Anney releases “Sìmí (REST)” — An Anthem of Hope, Encouragement, Strength and Peace.
“Sìmí (REST) is a soul-stirring reminder to find peace and strength in life’s storms.

The title comes from the Yoruba word “Sìmí”, meaning rest, reflecting the song’s message of comfort and assurance. With warm, emotive vocals and heartfelt delivery, Bukola calls listeners to lay down their burdens and trust in God’s unfailing promise. Sìmí blends contemporary Gospel with soulful, Afro-inspired textures, creating a sound that is both uplifting and deeply moving.

The song draws from timeless scriptures:
* “Come to me… and I will give you rest” (Matthew 11:28-29)
* “Those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength” (Isaiah 40:31)
* “Be still, and know that I am God” (Psalm 46:10)

Bukola shares: “Life can push us to the edge of exhaustion, but in the stillness, we find renewal. Sìmí is my heartfelt call to anyone carrying the weight of uncertainty: breathe, rest, and trust that better days are ahead.”
