Award winning nigerian singer songwriter Obiora Obiwon returns with “Conqueror”, his first single after a long hiatus. Sonically, Conqueror is an eclectic blend of pop and soul with influences from EDM, Afro and HipHop. Sharing the inspiration and creativity behind the song. Obiora Obiwon reflects;

“The melody for ‘Conqueror’ came to me in a dream while in a hospital battling for my life after a ruptured appendix. I recovered and wrote this song over a period time. It’s a song of victory, a reminder that we can all win in the victory of the one who conquered all…”

“Musically I’m coming from a place where I struggled with my creativity versus conformity in order to be accepted in certain circles. Creativity won and I’m freely expressing the music I’ve been given as it comes, no holds barred.
