Michael Sarver Makes WieRok Entertainment Group Homecoming With Bold New Anthem “Warrior”
Singer/songwriter and Top 10 American Idol finalist Michael Sarver opens a welcome new chapter in partnership with WieRok Entertainment Group, making his Christian music homecoming with “Warrior,” available today. Written by Sarver, Matthew Humphrey and Tyler Logan and co-produced by Sarver, the electrifying rock anthem is an undeniable declaration of identity forged through struggle and refined by faith.
“Warrior” marks a full-circle moment for the Texas-based worship leader and recording artist. After releasing a string of country singles in the wake of his 2009 American Idol run, Michael Sarver was unable to shake an innate beckoning to write and record music with a greater purpose. Leaving the country spotlight, he spent several years as a church worship leader before fully embracing the call to Christian music.
“I used to chase dreams in country music, but deep down, I knew God was calling me elsewhere,” Sarver admits. “‘Warrior’ isn’t just a song, it’s my testimony, born from the battles of fear, doubt, and spiritual warfare I’ve fought. God made me a warrior, and I’m finally stepping into that truth. If you’ve ever felt under attack or worn down, this song is for you. You’re not alone, and you were built for battle too.”
“What excites me about welcoming Michael Sarver to WieRok is his authenticity,” says Lance Wieland, co-founder and CEO, WieRok Entertainment Group. “He’s walked through fame; he’s walked through struggles; and what he carries now is something deeper, a faith that’s been tested and proven. ‘Warrior’ is a statement of who he is and what he believes.”
Wieland continues, “Michael is uniquely positioned to impact Christian music because he’s not trying to fit into an industry box—he’s living out his calling. That’s the kind of voice that cuts through the noise and brings real hope.”
“I am so excited to join forces with WieRok on this new journey,” Michael Sarver adds. “It’s a wonderful feeling to have a team whose calling and vision align with mine. I cannot wait to see what God does through our partnership as we step forward into this mission together!”
The “Warrior” official lyric video is now premiering exclusively on GodTube Music, and the single’s theatrical music video—produced and directed by Carlos Ubiñas of CU Creative—is slated to debut next month.
