Linda Boles Releases “Lord I Want To Be A Blessing To You”
Linda Boles has released her new single, “Lord I Want To Be A Blessing To You,” to Christian radio. The song, produced by John Johnson of TuneDesigner, is now impacting Inspirational, Christian Soft AC, and Praise & Worship formats.
Born into a lineage steeped in the rich traditions of bluegrass, Linda Boles grew up surrounded by music that shaped both her artistry and her faith. Her life’s journey, marked by deep personal loss and renewed purpose, has transformed her songwriting into a testimony of God’s faithfulness.
When her first husband passed away suddenly, Linda found herself leaning into music as a source of comfort and strength. Out of that season came songs that not only reflected her grief but also her growing trust in God’s promises.
With over four decades dedicated to music and ministry, Linda’s voice carries both warmth and conviction. Drawing from influences that span bluegrass, folk, and rock, she has created a sound that is as timeless as it is relevant. Her ministry is not measured by awards or accolades but by the lives changed through her music and the hope it inspires.

Her latest single captures the essence of her calling. With lyrics that repeat like a prayer—“Lord I want to be a blessing to you, Lord I want to be obedient too”—the song invites listeners to embrace a life of surrender and service. Each verse builds on a theme of joyful dependence on God, with lines such as “I want to show everyone all the things that you’ve done” and “To be dependent on you in everything that I do.” The result is both a personal devotion and a congregational anthem that encourages believers to live with purpose, humility, and faith.
“Lord I Want To Be A Blessing To You” has been released to radio and stands as Linda’s heartfelt offering of worship, carrying the same message that has defined her lifelong journey: that in every season, the greatest calling is to bring joy to the Lord by living in obedience and love.
