United States-based Nigerian gospel artist and songwriter, Joy Okeke has released her long-anticipated single “Name Jesus”.

“Name Jesus” is a song inspired by the Holy Spirit. It is a song that reminds us of how powerful and glorious the name of Jesus is. Most times when we go through things we don’t understand, the name of Jesus is the only power capable of bringing us out of whatever situation we find ourselves in, that’s why the Bible said that the name of the Lord is a strong tower the righteous runs in and they are safe.

Born on February 28th in Lagos State-Nigeria, but hails from Enugu state in the eastern part of Nigeria. Joy is the firstborn of six children, and started singing when she was young.

She is not only an artist but a graduate of Business Administration. Specializing in banking and finance, from Ahmadu Bello University in Nigeria, and also a bachelor’s degree in nursing from immaculata university Pa USA.

Her first album “The Anointed Joyful Praise” was released in 2018. The album consist of many uplifting Gospel songs that are still trending in the Nigerian Christian community to date.

Her second album “Inspirational Kind Praise” was released in 2022 with more anointed songs. Joy Okeke ministers to people through her music and also works as a registered nurse. She is married and is based in the United States with her husband and children.
