Seasoned gospel powerhouse James Fortune makes a triumphant return with his latest single “In The Room,” heralding the new era of his celebratory project In The Room: Preluxe. After a three-year pause from releasing new material, Fortune emerges with this high-energy, worship-forward anthem placing divine presence at the center of every moment.

“In The Room” is more than just a song — it’s a declaration: when God shows up, the atmosphere changes. Inspired by Fortune’s 20th anniversary live recording in 2024, the track embodies a moment of transformation and spiritual invitation. “I wanted to introduce something new that captured where I am right now,” Fortune explains. “In The Room was born out of a session where the energy shifted from just making music to creating a moment.”

This offering is the lead single off In The Room: Preluxe, a six-track EP combining new worship energy with live versions of beloved hits captured in Fortune’s 2024 live recording. Featured collaborations include Todd Galberth on “Completely Yes” and Pastor Mike, Jr. on a reprise of “Never Let Me Down.”

In The Room: Preluxe is available now on all major streaming platforms via FIYAWORLD and Blacksmoke Music Worldwide. The EP previews a larger 25-track live anthology slated for release in 2026, commemorating two decades of Fortune’s influential ministry and musical excellence.
