I was a freshman in high school when this song came out by Lee Ann Womack. The first time I ever heard it was on an old boombox-radio in the kitchen of The Sunset restaurant where I worked after school. I remember it vividly. I was cutting cabbage and the song stopped me in my tracks. I immediately fell in love with it. Had it on repeat for months. Hope y’all enjoy my humble take on it.
