His latest and second Centricity Music album features three new recordings on the Get Out of the Way of Your Own Heart (Deluxe) version of the album available beginning today at digital and streaming outlets internationally.
The new songs, “Leave A Light On,” “Only The Good Die Young” and “Hard Drugs,” finish out this 15-song deluxe and continue Renzema’s track record for not providing painless resolution or black and white answers to gray areas, but emphasizing that we never have to wrestle with life’s hardest questions alone. Along with the new songs, this unique thematic mix is apparent in the title track, the opening song “Hope Or Nostalgia,” the Triple A radio single “Old Friend,” the fresh perspective “Just As Good (feat. Ellie Holcomb),” the unifying, Saint Teresa prayer inspired “No Body (feat. Matt Maher),” and “Stronger Love,” which was co-written by and features Leeland Mooring.
Taking his new music and fan favorites on the road, Renzema sold out 21 events on his fall 2021 headline club tour, and travels to larger, theater-sized venues on his “Hope or Nostalgia Spring Tour” that opens up with an already nearly sold out event Feb. 27 in Phoenix, AZ at the 1,800-seat The Van Buren. Receiving well-over one million Spotify track saves over the last year, a 2020 Pandora “Artist to Watch” nod and a GMA Dove Award nomination for “New Artist of the Year,” Get Out of the Way of Your Own Heart continues Renzema’s more personal trajectory. Gospel artist Jabari Johnson is in what many would call his “winning season” after winning a Stellar Award, performing “Try Jesus” with Tobe Nwigwe at the BET Awards, and earning his first #1 record on the Billboard Gospel National Airplay Chart for “Fixed Fight.” Johnson’s new album ONE TOUCH will be available Today Friday, February 4th.
Jabari Johnson offers his newest album titled ONE TOUCH. The title track is an infectious and reflective song that recounts the well-known biblical story of the woman with an issue of blood. It cleverly tells the story and then draws the listener in to reflect on their own encounter with Jesus. Johnson’s powerful and gritty voice accompanied by his guitar deliver an ear-grabbing experience and will pierce the hearts and thoughts of those that hear “One Touch”.
In 2021, Jabari Johnson’s popular single of encouragement, “Fixed Fight” earned #1 status on the Billboard Gospel National Airplay Chart – making Johnson’s first #1 single. Jabari Johnson called on songstress Krystal Broussard to assist in delivering a powerful message to listeners and followers of Christ.
“I’m so glad this message is resonating with so many people. No matter who you are, I want you to tell everyone you know to stop stressing. The victory bill has already been signed! Victory was ours before this even started, it’s a fixed fight,” shares Jabari Johnson.
SEVEN album was born out of the sincere desire to connect with people by sharing stories and experiences that are true to me. Keeping it as relatable as possible, each song tells its own story.
From the constant warring of the flesh against the spirit in the song Enemy Lines, to the daily challenges faced by the girl child leading to the question, where is the Love?
The entire album is rich in sound and expression, it aims to engage the audience at a very intimate level by creating a balance. It addresses spiritual, emotional and physical concerns on Faith, Hope, Love, Abuse, Healing, Security, Friendship, Loyalty and Restoration.
I certainly poured my heart into the songs on this album and I hope you find the stories compelling, inspiring and edifying. This album captures the essence of my artistry and the beauty of my imperfections.
My name is GAMiE and this is my gift to you.
SEVEN album was produced by Ajo Segigo, mixed and mastered at Mustard Breed Studios.
All tracks written by GAMiE (Olumide Okesanjo) except Enemy Lines co written by Rotimi Awobiogbon.
