[Album] The End – Trip Lee

Award winning artist, pastor, author, and founding member of the 116 Movement, TRIP LEE, is back and this time he’s releasing THE END (out now)! While many would immediately assume that the award-winning artist, author, pastor, and rapper is announcing the end of his career in music, for Trip Lee, “every ending is a new beginning!”

“Most will think the title, The End, is connected to my final departure from making music, but that’s far from the truth,” shares Trip. It’s symbolic of the season I’m in personally and musically right now. It symbolizes the coming to the end of ourselves, where one door closes so another can open,” he explains “The state of our nation and the world has caused so many of us to look inward at the legacy we would leave behind if the world were really to end. The end of ourselves is not necessarily the end of our story. The suffering and uncertainty we’re in now feel like the end of everything, but actually the Lord is clearing the pathway that leads to him and a renewed life!”

theend 1

With the anticipation high for his return and the entire Reach Records roster heading out on the We Are UNASHAMED Tour in mid-March, Trip Lee and the label executed a masterfully planned roll-out to officially announce his return. In 2021, Trip Lee surprised 116 fans with a new song, “You Got It,” a single released on the Reach Records Presents Summer ’21 Playlist. He followed quickly behind with “Supernatural,” a warm-up song for The End.

While he hasn’t released a new album in five years, Trip continued to write and record songs. A few songs that made it to The End from his hiatus are “You Got It,” “Supernatural,” “Stone,” “Wake Up” ft. KB, “Witness” ft. WHATUPRG and Wande, “Right Out The Gate,” “Gave It Up” ft. DESI and “All Mine” ft. Taylor Hill.

Every ending is a new beginning, and The End is only the beginning of Trip Lee’s rebirth as a true musician, musical messenger of God, and a new day for those longing for a new take on the eternal message of hope in Jesus Christ.

Jordan St. Cyr Releases Debut Self-Titled Album

Singer and songwriter Jordan St. Cyr officially releases his debut full-length album. The self-titled project with BEC Recordings features  “Fires” and “Weary Traveler,” which goes into street week holding No. 1 at radio for the straight fifth week on the AC Indicator Chart.

“My prayer for this album is that these songs would bring comfort and joy to those who hear them,” St. Cyr explains about the album’s release. “It is also my prayer that listeners would be more hopeful and open to the depths of God’s love for them knowing that their circumstances are not a reflection of how God feels about them, rather that their circumstances would reveal the closeness and nearness of the Holy Spirit.”

Jordan St. Cyr has been able to share more about his new album with outlets such as the Matthew West Podcast, K-LOVE’s Skip & Amy After The Show, CFN/Catholic Faith Network, Today’s Christian Entertainment, while more interviews are upcoming. An album review is also live with Jesus Freak Hideout, sharing, “This truly is a solid pop record. Those in search of uplifting, up-tempo, and encouraging pop music need look no further…it appears that with his self-titled introduction that he’s just getting started, and given the impact and quality of the start, it wouldn’t surprise if St. Cyr is around to stay.”

Jordan St. Cyr began the year being named the No. 2 Top New Christian Artist of 2021, according to Billboard, which also listed his song “Fires” in four of the top year-end Christian songs charts. “Fires” spent an astounding 45 weeks at radio and became a top 5 hit, while top charter “Weary Traveler” continues to be added and heard on stations across the U.S., also climbing to No. 4 on the NCA Monitored and No. 5 on AC Monitored.

Download Album : LION – Elevation Worship

Elevation Worship, the multi-GRAMMY nominated, multi-GMA Dove Award winning, and Billboard No. 1-charting group drops their new album LION, today.

The highly-anticipated 15-track collection blends high-energy power anthems with stripped-down quieter moments, unconventionally mixing studio selections and live recordings. LION is sure to take listeners on an inspiring journey, offering songs primed for church, for everyday worship, and for personal reflection.

Upon creating their 14th project to date, Elevation Worship approached the album process with an entirely fresh palette. “It’s not been written or recorded like any other album we’ve had,” Brown admits. “We didn’t start writing with a particular album or end goal in mind. We just began to create and capture songs throughout the year and eventually found ourselves with this collection of songs that we loved.”

With cover art revealing a meek and spotless lamb, the album’s title is a glimpse into the contradiction of Christ. “There’s a lyric in the song ‘LION’ that says ‘Like a lamb you suffered, but the Lion has arose,’” states Chris Brown, Elevation Worship’s worship leader and one of their primary songwriters. “In the wildest plot twist, Jesus conquers death once and for all, but instead of doing it by a forceful takeover, He conquers through crucifixion. The Lion conquers by suffering as a sacrificial lamb.”LION ushers Elevation Worship into a brave, uncharted chapter of artistry. They’re not only a collective capable of offering spirited power ballads that summit radio charts; they’re also adept at penning songs meant for quiet moments of private devotion, and it’s all simply an overflow of what’s already happening in the hearts of their church family. Brown concludes, “Everything we do stems first from being the expression of worship coming from Elevation Church. In other words, without Elevation Church there is no Elevation Worship.”

Beginning April 26, Elevation Worship along with Pastor Steven Furtick will hit the road with their spring arena tour Elevation Nights, bringing the experience of Elevation Church to cities around the U.S. The tour begins in Chicago and will wrap in Boston on May 5. Tickets are on sale now and for more information visit ElevationNights.com.

[Album] Milk & Honey (Deluxe) – Crowder

Three-time GRAMMY nominated, genre-defying artist Crowder released his career-changing album, ‘Milk & Honey,’ this past summer (6.11 via sixstepsrecords/Capitol Christian Music Group), topping the Billboard Christian Albums chart and marking his third No.1 debut on the chart, overall. Now, the Texarkana-turned-ATL resident is taking the already powerful project to another level with the release of ‘Milk & Honey (Deluxe)’ — available everywhere today (3.4).

The 18-track collection expands on the album’s original Tracklist, which featured the massive hit ‘Good God Almighty’ — a tune that sat atop the Billboard Christian Songs chart for five consecutive weeks and landed him No. 1 on the Billboard Hot Christian Songs chart. Adding six praiseworthy listens to the project, the Deluxe release includes a brand-new tune, “King (feat. Maverick City Gospel Choir)” — a stomp-heavy, gospel-infused anthem that is sure to become a fan favorite, an electric remix of the project’s title track, the live version of “God Really Loves Us,” which was recorded in front of a SOLD-OUT crowd at Atlanta’s Mercedes Benz Stadium earlier this year during Passion 2022, and more.

His latest single, “In The House,” which is a major focus on ‘Milk & Honey (Deluxe),’ peaked atop Mediabase’s Christian Airplay radio chart last week — marking his fourth No.1 at radio and his first time having multiple, consecutive singles from the same album reach the top of the chart, overall. Not only is the radio version of the track featured on his Deluxe release, but he also gives the hip-hop-inspired production and harmony-layered hooks an acoustic spin in a more intimate version of the tune. Capping off ‘Milk & Honey (Deluxe)’ with an album highlight, Crowder draws all attention to the dynamic musical elements that make “In The House” a true staple at his live shows — offering a live performance version of the tune, which was recorded at Austin City Limits this past fall – a special stop on his 30+ date ‘Milk & Honey’ headline tour.

With an extensive touring schedule lined up through the end of the year, Crowder is currently out on TobyMac’s Hits Deep 2022 Tour, making stops in NYC, Denver, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh and more. Fans can purchase tickets to Crowder’s upcoming shows by visiting crowdermusic.com.

[Album] A Decade After – Gaise Baba

The full-length project “A Decade After” is the most anticipated project of Akinade Ibuoye popularly known as Gaise Baba, who beyond music circles is perceived as a Culture Influencer and young shaper who keeps hundreds of thousands of youths in Nigeria away from delinquency, drugs and school truancy etc., through urban Christian music communicated in his native Yoruba language and English as well as his social outreaches; LightOut High-School Movement and ARAMANDA Festival.

The album is acclaimed as Gaise Baba’s most anticipated project since Logo (The EP) was released in September 2020. The “Logo” crooner’s debut album “Gaise Baba” was released under Sanctified Records in 2011 and produced by Emmanuel Malaka (Manie X).

For myriad Gaise Baba’s fans and new audiences, this sophomore album is expected to stimulate a new dimension of creativity and depth from the thought leader, showing his metamorphosis from a budding singer to a fully-grown master of his art, utilizing different art forms and sounds, creating an immersive youthful culture in the Nigerian Christian music space, a trail he has been blazing since his stint at Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) as an Economics major. Viral hits like “Awa O Tush Oh”, “Dobale”, “Little Drops” and the most recent “Logo” are some of the songs which have placed Gaise Baba as a distinct artist, since his official entry into the music industry in 2010.

With excellent production from ID Cabasa, DJ Klem, Tbabz and Password, Gaise Baba takes us once again on a musical journey of ecclesiastical proportions.

The 13-track album which comprises varying sounds ranging from Afrobeats, Afropop, rap and vintage African soulful sounds, starts off on a gentle vibe with “Surely”, a hopeful track where Gaise Baba expresses his appreciation to God even as he looks ahead with assurance to greatness that will surely manifest. Eje (Blood) is a reminder that none of life’s challenges or perils withstand the power in the blood of Jesus Christ. On “Ready” featuring Nosa, Gaise Baba reiterates his commitment to following the way of the Lord, as he has done, penultimate.

“Questions” featuring Tobi Toun is a rap song where the artist touches on major issues of faith and devotion. “Olulana”, explains the plight of a husband acknowledging his need for God’s help in leading his home right.

“Everything”, featuring Angeloh, ushers a youthful Indy – soul vibe as they both admit that with God’s help, they can overcome all things!

Enter track 7, “Emergency”, Gaise Baba activates his storytelling prowess as he shares the dilemma of infidelity, a viral trend on our time line. “Titilai” (Forever) is a remake of his previously released single; love song, a fresh live performance of the track. “Elijah Level “featuring Izee Smith brings that consciousness that everyone in life has their time and one’s time will surely come. “Gbagbe Oshi” is a live version of one of his epic songs from LOUNGE 464 (www.gaisebaba.com/lounge464), the ultimate Gaise Baba live music experience hosted monthly in Lagos and Abuja.

“Ojonlo” (Translated in English as Time slipping away) is a song rendered in Yoruba where Gaise Baba extends a call to salvation for listeners living without Christ. The last track on the album “Wonbiliki Wobia”, captures Gaise Baba’s storytelling skills yet again as he speaks truth to power and opens up on macro social-economic issues under developing the nation state of Nigeria.

With over a decade in the music industry, one truth shines through; this Berklee College of Music product has evolved and is a constant reminder of one of the vanguards of a prosperous nation: Freedom and truth. Gaise Baba has proven that he’s able to blend and evolve his sound with the times, and that has made this album a masterpiece as he keeps using his music to uplift and inspire all cadres and sections of our society with the warmth of Christ’s love.

[Album] Desert Rain – Trinity

Awards-winning, Netherlands-based band Trinity releases Desert Rain globally today from The Fuel Music. First released in the Netherlands in 2016, and having already received three Dutch, Silver Dove Awards, including “Album Of The Year,” the album is available now. The recording from these “craftsmen of heavenly parties” mixes music styles from all over the world to create a magnetic sound, blending genres into an eclectic music experience that is sweet to the ears and uplifting to the soul.

The world-music pop flair of Desert Rain was inspired by the band’s travels internationally, jamming with immigrant-musicians wherever they were in time and space. The resulting warm-blooded, passionate rhythms and melodies are steeped with lyrics birthed in real-life stories, all offering hope for a brighter future.

“When we recorded Desert Rain, we set out to create an album that captures our experiences and faith in songs; an album that shows both the darkness of the world we live in and the light piercing through it,” says Trinity’s Elbert Smelt (lead vocals, flutes, saxophone). “It shares the conviction that we as human beings are meant for more. When people make peace, join hands and stand against injustice, and feel hope rising up — when someone is healed and when you hear beautiful music: then the real world is visible.”

The first album released internationally in over two years, Desert Rain precedes a series of new recordings and appearances from Trinity slated for this year and to be announced soon. It also follows 2019’s globally acclaimed album The In Between that was produced by Grammy-nominated, multiple Dove Award-winning Ian Eskelin and Barry Weeks.
