“Jean Watson’s version of “Holy Is His Name” is a refreshing, new masterful take on my song that includes aspects of the traditional and the contemporary that lifts the soul and spirit to God in worship.” – Catholic Christian Recording ArtistJohn Michael Talbot, Composer, Author and Founder, General Minister of The Brothers and Sisters of Charity
Soprano vocalist, violinist, speaker and author Jean Watson to release breathtaking ten track faith-based classical cross-over album “Home” on Friday June 24th.
The uplifting testimonial of ”Home”is undeniable.
“Home” showcases Jean’s exquisite, unmistakable Soprano voice and her soul-stirring Celtic infused violin performances. The album is produced by music veteran Billy Smiley at Shadowlands Music, Franklin, Tennessee.
The ten track “Home” features inspiring Christian songs including “The Joy of the Lord”, “Nothing But the Blood” and “This is my Father’s World”. Jean’s recording of ”Holy Is His Name” has been endorsed by the writer himself, one of the world’s most admired Catholic Christian recording artists, John Michael Talbot. The intimate “Psalm 51” is written by Jean Watson and her daughter Kat Watson, who is the also featured vocalist on the track. The title track “Home” is vulnerably beautiful and is also written by Jean. The album closes with the epic “Nella Fantasia”(“In My Fantasy”) based on the theme from the film ‘The Mission’ (1986).
Jean elaborates,
“Listening to “Home” is like reading a page from my personal journal. It was written out of a place of tremendous personal vulnerability. In fact, the original title was going to be “Close to Home” because the songs hit themes which many can relate to – finding joy in the midst of pain, dealing with shame and regret from the past, growing in faith, and having hope in humanity. Though the album is disarmingly honest in its approach, it’s not the least bit “sad”. The overarching theme of the album is finding joy and contentment in all circumstances.”
Jean has been the keynote speaker at conferences all over the world and inspires audiences to live a lifestyle of worship regardless of outward circumstances. She connects with the listener at a heart level through her testimony and through fresh perspectives from the Word of God. Jean completed her first book, “Everything Can Change in Forty Days”published by Seedbed Publishers.
She is in high demand as a conference speaker and frequently ministers as a spokesperson for Prison Fellowship International.
Jean hosts a weekly radio program on United Christian Broadcasting Ireland and plays violin with the Kalamazoo Symphony.
21-year-old Nichole created “In Jesus Name (God of Possible)” from words in her prayer journal that were written in the midst of a global health crisis and in response to her own story of suffering, hope and healing. She suffered for years with scoliosis before a new doctor took out the metal rods that had been placed in her back and her spine miraculously went straight, no longer giving her pain.

The light we radiate is the solution to the darkness of our world, and Dr. John Mo believes his music ministry is a new dawn that is rich to reach the world, impact it for the glorification of God.
Isaiah 58:8 begins with “Then shall your light break forth like the dawn…”. This debut album of Dr. John Mo, titled The Dawn, is the dawning of soulful, inspiring, and scintillating gospel melodies meant for the church and beyond. The Dawn is a prelude to much more to come from Dr. John Mo – a graced minstrel.

Track 1: My Worship This song depicts the expression of a worshipper worshipping in spirit and in truth, and always hungry for God’s presence. It is soothing to the soul and spirit of a listener and highly contagious.
Track 2: Hallelujah This is a scintillating praise/worship song likened to the kind of songs for our worship together with the angels in eternity. It is a song you would sing forever and ever! Selah.
Track 3: Let It Flow This song paints worship as what flows from the heart through the channel (man’s spirit). It emphasizes that this channel must be opened to allow your worship flow acceptably to God alone who deserves it all. The ambience in this song is captivating and charismatic.
Track 4: Fight These Battles This song was received after an attack on Dr. John Mo. The song therefore recognizes and talks about the God of vengeance who fights and wins all our battles, making us victorious. This vengeance song featuring Hope Ime, is what you need on your lips when the battle rages.
Track 5: Desperate For You Craving for more of God and the in-filling of the Holy Spirit is an endless experience in the lives of desperate believers. This song featuring Deborah BillyBen is a full expression of this passion and hunger. You can say it is deep and warm.
Track 6: Living On You If you recognize or you want to be reminded of your dependence and reliance as a branch on the vine (Jesus), this soul-touching soft-rock serenade is what you need to hear. Dr. John Mo essentially talks in this song in such a manner that gets you into an attitude of gratitude.
Track 7: Jesus Is The King The kingship and lordship of Jesus is not contestable. This irresistible sound expresses this truth in various Nigerian dialects in an amazing fashion. Tessy Praise, the featured artiste, coloured this song with a unique and irresistible tune.
Track 8: All My Life This soul-touching thanksgiving melody portrays Dr. John Mo’s gratitude to Jesus for the way Jesus made for him and the light He’s shone on the way, getting him to stardom. He recalls his experiences in his early days of hardship in darkness, even in his school days. Hear the testimony in this song.
Track 9: Free Indeed Freedom brings excitement! He that the Son sets free is free indeed. This is the story in this song of excitement that talks of the freedom Christ gave to man right from the cross at Calvary where He said “it is finished”. You’d want to hear this energetic song of freedom again and again.
Track 10: What Wisdom Is This? Singing about God’s wisdom and the incomparable depth with a reggae tune could be intriguing and fascinating. The song gets your reggae steps on the dance floor. This twist from Dr. John Mo is unbelievable!

Curb | Word Entertainment artist Dan Bremnes adventures Into The Wild with the release of his new album. Fans can listen to the all new batch of original music beginning today (June 17) HERE.
His LP thrusts Bremnes into the unknown. The well-traveled singer delivers a collection that invites listeners to leave fear behind and allow God to guide. Produced by Mike Wise, Andrew Bergthold, Benjamin Backus, Mark Campbell and Abe Parker, Bremnes’ second full-length project with Curb | Word Entertainment grafts pieces of his global expeditions into a sonic landscape that’s both diverse and accessible. Full of gratitude for the present, adoration for his wife, and hope amidst uncertainty, Into The Wild features lead single “Hold You Tight,” as well as previously released selections “Run Away With Me” and “Wouldn’t Change A Thing.”
Singer, songwriter, and worship leader, Katy Weirich (pronounced y-rick), releases her debut project, Out of The Blue, today (June 17th). Weirich is joined by the multi-Grammy Award-winning Tedd T as producer for the EP, and the music is an inspiring celebration of God’s love that combines an autobiographical background of Weirch’s life stories. Out of The Blue showcases Weirich’s original six songs on the project, with the sixth song being a piano version of “More.”
“This project has been a labor of love and a long time coming, years to be exact,” said Weirich. “I consider the journey to be one of my life’s greatest blessings and the opportunity to release this music a dream fulfilled. My prayer for these songs is that they would minister to every heart who hears them, and that this record would serve as a testament to the greatness and faithfulness of God, especially in times of adversity.”
Even though Weirich has made great strides in her career, she has struggled with a devastating diagnosis of clinical anxiety and depression, starting at a young age. Eventually, Weirich overcame her health issues and began again focusing on her music career. However, after giving birth to her second child, she experienced a debilitating postpartum depression. It was a very tough period in Weirich’s life, but it led to an inspiration of writing the songs for Out of The Blue, which became a celebration of God’s continual faithfulness.
“Dealing with anxiety and depression has certainly resulted in some of the most dark and scary times of my life. I think back to some of those days of having panic attacks that literally had my body collapsing to the floor, and when getting through the next hour felt like climbing a mountain,” said Weirich. “However, in the darkness of these struggles I have witnessed the light and love of Jesus, which ‘put a new song in my mouth’ (Psalm 40:3). These songs have given me such purpose to all of the pain.”
Eclectic, award-winning world-pop group and the Netherlands-based band Trinity releases Trinity Street globally today (June 17) from The Fuel Music.
The all new Trinity Street EP is available now at digital and streaming outlets everywhere via https://slinky.to/TrinityStreet and features the party-ready title track, a Mumford & Sons cover of “Awake My Soul” and three more original songs inspired by the green pastures of Ireland.
Longing to write new material following the pandemic, Trinity brothers Johan (acoustic guitars), Elbert (lead vocals, flutes, saxophone), and Niek Smelt (Drums, percussion) together with their longtime friend Bert Bos (bass) ventured out to Ireland, the place where their love for folk music and Celtic spirituality started. Always showcasing an Irish twist in their sound and lyrics, the fun-loving, acoustic approach and party-making craftsmanship is something they’re known for around the world.
“As 16-year-olds we would go to Ireland every summer to work on a farm and do mission work along the coast,” reminisces Elbert. “Over the years we’ve become good friends with the Morrisons at Hartwell, which is the beautiful name of the farm near Dublin and the Wicklow Mountains. We decided to pay them a visit and write new songs that resulted in this folky new album.
“Trinity Street treasures the past while simultaneously propelling us forward to a future,” continues Elbert. “With a childlike trust and heartfelt wonder, we look for God in friend and stranger and in his first incarnation: creation. ‘Trinity Street’ is an invitation to join the crazy family. To dance the night away toward a bright new morning full of beauty and enough love for everybody.”
We are one and many we all just really want the same We are flesh and bones from a million homes With many stories, many names But we are a crazy family with everyone we meet So come and join the party down on trinity street (“Trinity Street” chorus)
GRAMMY award-winning music group Maverick City Music and 16-time GRAMMY winner Kirk Franklin are bringing the injustices around mass incarceration – and the voices of 1,300 inmates – to center stage with the release of ‘KINGDOM Book One,’ available everywhere via Tribl Records and Fo Yo Soul Entertainment/RCA Inspiration.
Taking the idea of “prison performance” to another level, the genre-transcending, 11-track project made entirely from the grounds of a Florida prison, features Maverick City Music and Franklin recording the experience alongside more than ninety-percent of those who remain incarcerated at the location.
Maverick City Music’s Tony Brown and JJ (Jonathan Jay) share about the recording of the record below.
What was a significant moment recording this record? TONY: We had placed flier all around the prison yard, not sure who’s going to show up, and then wound up having to postpone the recording because 1500 out of the 1700 people in the entire facility decided that they wanted to meet us on the yard, and watching them walk, single-file and every single one of them had to be checked into that prison yard with their prison ID to get into the concert.
They all came single-file, one by one, to come and be a part of the afternoon. By the time they all got in there, looking out, and just seeing a sea of residents that were there to just, it was one of the most exciting experiences for them.
The team didn’t realize that this never happens — they underestimated the value of being there. So, that was one thing. The other thing is just hearing story after story of how impacted these guys have been through the music that they have access to via the Panda app on their devices in prison… all the stories they have about how they’ve been completely impacted by the songs that Maverick City Music sings and put on their app.
What do they want to accomplish? TONY: We want people who don’t know that mass incarceration is a humanitarian crisis globally — and raise awareness that we are the leading country that is host to these atrocities. We want awareness around the topics that affect the community that we represent — as black and brown people, primarily. This is an issue that is deeply embedded into our societal conscious. We want to be able to not just share our songs, but the heart and the lives that these songs are coming out of, and that’s our real experience, a real hard experience. Most all of us, in some way, have been impacted by these issues, and we want to bring it forward. As we mature as artists, as we get more influence, the things that matter to us the most need to take precedence over all the other narratives that are running around out there. This has to be front and center.
JJ: I think it’s for every fan that loves the music and tracks with us, that they will be aware of the challenges that people face every day that are forgotten. I think for me, the most impactful moment, but was the prisoners’ reaction to not being forgotten about… or the reaction to being remembered. I think that’s a better way to say it. Like, every single day that we showed up, it was like, ‘wow, I’m so happy you’re here. I’m so happy you remember. I’m so happy that you guys even think about us.’ It was like Christmas for them. That sentiment carried through all the
that we were there, and it was unbelievable. I think that people would just be aware that there are people out there who aren’t remembered, and that they would maybe dig in, do a little research, and figure out a way for them to be a part of helping fix the issues that come with incarceration.
What do you want listeners to take away from this record? TONY: Besides awareness, I want it to motivate people to do something about these issues. But, if it’s not just awareness, it’s being proactive. It’s giving to foundations that help figure out how to stop this thing called mass incarceration, it’s volunteering in communities that are grossly affected by it. It’s acknowledging that it’s a real thing. If we can get a small amount of people to just simply acknowledge the fact that modern day slavery exists, then that’s a huge win for us. So awareness is massive because we like to think that the transatlantic slave trade stopped when they let all the prisoners free, but a few months later they just picked them up for J-walking, so they were right back in jail, and some of those guys never saw the light of day again. The history repeats itself over and over and over again, and a lot of times, it’s in subtle ways that we’ve all realize it, and we’re watching it in our everyday lives.
